Yummy Yummy
A little outdated inside with no inside seating. Fast service for the take out order. Friendly service. Prices are on the high side. Food was adequate, nothing special. Great for fast take out on your way home from work when you need something different.
I have got to take a minute to rave about their sweet and sour chicken! Can we just acknowledge that the pieces of chicken are HUGE and they’re not hard they’re tender and the outside is crispy. There is no Chinese food in the entire valley like this one. ☝🏼💯 I literally would eat here every day if I could. Their bourbon chicken is exceptional as well! And, my sister loves their egg rolls and sesame chicken. Y’all gotta give this place a go! It’s worth it! Oh and the prices are good too. The only thing is they need to add lemon sauce to their menu that would literally be my only complaint ☝🏼😂🤷🏻♀️
YAO Sushi Bar & Asian Cuisine
I have been getting takeout here for many years. I love what Sara has done to renovate the dining and bar areas. Excellent food and atmosphere. Their recipes are a comfort. If you like traditional Asian takeout, this is for you. My daughter also says they have the best sticky rice and I have to agree with her.
Absolutely beautifully prepared and presented food. Owners are lovely. Lunch specials are large and tasty! I especially recommend the Tokyo Monster Roll 🥡🫖🦐
Szechuan Taste
This review is for the Sunday buffet only and not ordering off the full menu, although I can’t imagine it being any different as far as a total lack of taste and flavor is concerned. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Limited offerings, some 13 trays. Hot and Sour soup was hot, but no heat nor use of vinegar. Spring roll was lame. Coral Shrimp & General Tso’s chicken were the winners. All the rest had no spice, herbs or flavorings. Ever hear of ginger, garlic, oyster sauce, Five spice? Staff were pleasant, good in removing empty plates and filling of food trays. Sadly, will never return. Darn it.
The food was ok about 6/10. Not really an authentic Schezuan restaurant. I read the reviews for coming there and it was 4.5 so it was very misleading when we got there I was expecting a bit more quality and more authenticity in terms of the dishes and all we got was sort of this blah Chinese food. The Dan Dan noodles had no Schezuan peppercorn and the green beans are supposed to be dry and they’re drenched in some sauce. So it’s not authentic Chinese at all. Not bad but not great.
Taste of China
If there was a half a star option that's what I would rate it. Crab Rangoons dry with mostly air, and rice tasteless. First time ordering here and last, was very disappointed.
Best Chinese food in Rhode island...was on main Street East Greenwich for many years until moving to it's Exeter location. It's kinda out of the way and off the beaten path but totally worth the drive. Every time I'm back in town I stop here. If you don't know what to get start with the D1 and pork lomain.
