Magic Wok
I think this is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. During the Christmas holidays we got takeout so I can't talk about the atmosphere. Extended family was here and everyone loved what they had. As simple as it may seem the eggrolls were wonderful. They were not greasy at all. And we got both steamed and fried dumplings. Wonderful! We had the general style chicken and shrimp and broccoli and orange chicken. I'm sure there's more that I don't remember, but I can't wait to order from there again.
Always friendly! I've tried Chinese all over the area and this is the tastiest of them all! Their pork fried rice has all the ingredients to make it right. The other places put pieces of pork in rice and call it pork fried rice.ALWAYS FRIENDLY!
Mister Lee's Noodles
We’ve absolutely loved coming here for ramen especially for their Spicy ramen. They were one of the better ones around, but recently their noodles changed for SURE! Previously their noodles were soft, thin, nice chew, texture and tasted much like ramen noodles. Past couple of times, it’s like we’re eating spaghetti in soup, the portion have gotten smaller, not enough broth AND the price went up from $15 to $18! For 3 ramens, that’s $9 increase for us. The veggies in it haven’t been consistent. Sometimes you’ll get broccoli, if you’re lucky you’ll get a few jalapeños, sometimes you’ll get bokchoy other times there isn’t any fresh veggies on top at all except sprinkles of scallions for presentation!!! These veggies are alway available so there’s no excuse for inconsistency. We won’t be returning again. The quality isn’t same to be paying $18 for a bowl of spaghetti and broth.
Located in the Easton market, plenty of window seating and bar seating for dining in. The ramen here is definitely a little different, but pretty good. They have only a few options, but still have something to offer for everyone. Ramen is full of flavor and the portion is good as well. Definitely worth trying.
Vietnamese Noodle House
Clean place. Service was a bit slow since it seemed they were understaffed. The pho was good. Broth was tasty. A large amount of noodles but the amount of meat was lacking. There are no napkins available at the table and they are brought with your order. I would visit again if in the area.
My boyfriend and I moved from Philly where we would regularly get Pho. We were happy to see this restaurant and excited to try it. We both agree this place has tasty broth, good portion sizes, and is priced well. This has become our new casual cozy pho spot. Service has always been kind and quick. I don’t usually write reviews either but this place deserves the praise.
Sogo
I don’t have any complaints for my first time here! Food was delicious, Came out quickly, and I absolutely love the atmosphere of the place. Definitely would recommend a date night here😄
Ordered shrimp fried rice and crabs rangoon. The shrimp fried rice was hard in some places (clumped together) and didn’t have any flavor. The crabs rangoon flavor is a bit different from others that I have eaten but it was okay. The service was great and the restaurant is really beautiful. I figure the food may not have been the best because the restaurant specializes in sushi 🤷♀️. I will have to try their sushi next time.
Takkii Ramen Easton
Ramen was okay at best. Wasn’t a fan of the flavor I picked which I think was black garlic. The chicken was amazing! The service was phenomenal and I loved the decorations.
Came here for my 3 year anniversary and wasn’t let down! The interior is extremely beautiful. Everyone from the staff which was small was constantly checking up on us whether we were there table or not. In house manager super down to earth guy. Lemme tell you tho the food is amazing. My drink and ramen I had. The tantan one I missed a picture of the appetizer but everything was really really amazing.
Sette Luna
A great place for summer Al fresco dining. Small, but interesting menu, great cocktails (I recommend the Peach Old-Fashioned), pasta, and salads. Strongly recommend the Tuscan Bean Soup!! Pricing is appropriate for the quality/atmosphere. Service was courteous, if not enthusiastic (at least the night we were there), but there was no rush. Great if you want to linger and talk. Sette Luna is just a block away from the center of town, which allows patrons to eat, then walk off dinner amongst historic tree-lined streets regarding beaux-arts buildings, and a historic monument in the town square.
This was our first time here. A friend recommended it after he said he has the best pizza ever at the garlic festival. We requested the same garlic pizza they had at the festival but the waiter said they can’t make that. So we tried the Josh’s Bianca with the meat on the side and the Florentine pizza. The Josh’s pizza we all liked the best. So good! There was nothing special about the florentine pizza. It was boring. The risotto balls were sooo good!!! Probably my favorite thing there. Our server was awesome! Forgot his name. But great experience! Will definitely be back to try more!
3rd & Ferry Fish Market
This is one of the busiest restaurants in the area, and that usually means the food is good. We were visiting from out of state, and a quick Google search pointed us to this spot. We ordered a few dishes, including the fish and chips, and they did not disappoint. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes were generous as well. The service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere had a cozy, welcoming vibe, perfect for a casual meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and we’d definitely return next time we’re in the area.
Fabulous place for sea food, The grand tower steal the show, it was amazing, Oyster, clams, mussel and other good stuff. I think they need some improvements on service, have to wait for a while after order, but that’s completely worth it. Medium fries was not to good, they were skinny and has no potato to taste.
Billy's Downtown Diner
Great service, great atmosphere, and amazing food. All food was great, but the French roast and cappuccino were outstanding. The servers were friendly and had a great attitude.
Genuinely such a great place. The aesthetics of the place is so comfy and beautiful. Everything was clean including the bathroom. Service was amazing. Our food came out very fast and was delicious. The menu options are amazing. Staff is super friendly. Almost too good to be true but it is! Definitely a new favorite spot.
Aman's Artisan Indian Cuisine
Aman restaurant offers an upscale fine dining experience with an inviting ambiance and attentive service, making it a great choice for group outings or special occasions. The decor is elegant and sets the tone for an elevated dining experience. However, when it comes to the food, the flavors fell short of expectations. The vegan tandoori lacked the authentic depth and texture typically associated with this dish, leaving it underwhelming. Additionally, the spice levels seemed significantly toned down; an “8” on their spice scale felt closer to a mild 2-3 on an Indian taste scale. On the bright side, the service and overall atmosphere left a positive impression, and I’ll likely return to try their curries next time to better understand their flavor profile. While the presentation and setting are noteworthy, the restaurant could benefit from refining its flavors to better resonate with traditional Indian cuisine.
NYE is one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year, and Aman’s nailed it tonight. Food, service, everything was phenomenal! We were a group of 5. Started with the Dad’s Tandoori Wings(!!!!) and Maru Bhajia. Both so good, the maru bhajia was a great appetizer especially for my mom who doesn’t do spicy food—also, we ate some of the maru before I took the photo, it was a good portion! And the wings were the best chicken wings any of us have had—the smoky flavor from the tandoori oven permeated throughout all of the meat. Then, we had the Lamb Korma and Madra’s Coconut Chicken(!!!!) which were both absolutely amazing. Great flavor to both of them and the meat was tender. We had chicken biryani, bullet naan(spicy and delicious), and butter naan which were all great complements to the curry dishes. We also had the salmon tandoori, which was a very generous portion for a seafood dish—mom was happy again. For the spice lovers, we had the Dad’s Mishkaki which was another star of the show. Saag paneer, you can never go wrong. Gotta put something green on the plate, so you can say you got your vegetables lol! But that was also delicious and flavorful of course, with a generous amount of paneer. For dessert, we shared the Gulab Jamun (always good) and the Kheer. If you are new to Indian food, gulab jamun is a great dessert to try. Overall, this was a great experience. I wish I remembered our server’s name to give her the credit she deserves for rocking it on a busy night. We were surprised by how quick all the food came out, but we were a 6:00pm reservation so that probably worked to our advantage. I also appreciate that the website and menu are very transparent when it comes to things like the automatic gratuity and the table reservation time limit. I can tell that the leaders of this restaurant know what they’re doing! Our family will be back. Thank you for a great night out.
More Than Q
The food’s pretty good, but I found it grating that all the sides were off-balance. One or two little issues get a free pass; too many little issues add up and become super noticeable. Please experiment with the ratio of salt to sugar to vinegar for each side, and then measure things out precisely. The cucumber had way too much sugar and needed a bit of salt; the slaw hardly had any vinegar; the onions needed less vinegar and a touch of sugar; and the baked beans needed more acidity.
Amazing BBQ! I had the 2 item sampler and it was so yummy! Loved the sauces. I also got a side of burnt ends baked beans, and damn! So good! Huge thumbs up!
Tandoor Grill
Food was pretty good. It was a little salty for my taste but otherwise it was good. Would come here to try other things too.
The food had so much oil that even after we finished there was so much oil left in the container, and a good amount of food color. Indian food has a lot of flavor and is naturally colorful, you don’t have to add more color to present it. Their lacha paratha had no layers it was basically a whole wheat naan. Naan only had a grocery store bought and heated quality. Service was decent but very disappointed in the quality of food.
