We had to find a gluten free restaurant due to celiac disease. The owners in Happy Chen was very helpful and friendly. They made sure no flour, no bean paste (bean paste usually contains flour) were used. All the dishes were very tasty. We ordered lunch to dine in and dinner to take out. Very happy with all the dishes. Highly recommend especially if you are also super sensitive to gluten. Just say no flour or wheat(不要小麦面粉), no bean paste (不要豆瓣酱)。 We can eat soy sauce. If you are sensitive to soy sauce, remember to add that to the list :)

Parked at the Loves truck stop and walked over. Ordered the pork fried rice, wings and house special soup. The rice was so good that I ate the entire bowl at the restaurant and had to order a second portion to go. COME BY YOU WON'T REGRET IT. The food was very tasty and seasoned nicely.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my recent experience. I’m not from the area, but my son has basketball practice just a few minutes up the road, so I looked for a nearby spot to grab a bite while waiting. I walked into this restaurant with no expectations, just hungry and trying to support a local business. As soon as I stepped in, the owner (who I later realized was also the cook) greeted me with an extremely nasty attitude before I even said a word. I asked calmly, “Do I just seat myself?” and was met with a loud and rude “NO, no sitting!” I was taken aback by his tone and had to stop myself from reacting the same way. I politely asked why, and he said “No server.” I said, “Okay, I can order and pay, can I still sit and eat my food here?” He angrily shouted, “Takeout only!” as he walked back into the kitchen. Even if takeout only is the policy, there’s a much better way to communicate that. His whole energy made me feel completely unwelcome, and honestly, it felt personal. As someone who lives an hour away, I was hoping to find a spot I could frequent every Tuesday and Thursday while my son practices 4 mins away, but sadly, this won’t be it. I hope this place won’t be it for ANYONE!! Maybe this is why he has no servers… that kind of attitude would push anyone away.

This place really fail us lately. We got stuck wiring for an extremely long time for food. I understand 5 or 10 mins but over 30 mins past the time it was suppose to be ready is completely unacceptable. Please fix this issue.

We came to Chens for lunch on Christmas day. We have gotten takeout from here once and it was good. We were seated immediately and our server was with us quickly. We ordered spring rolls to start - they were good. We had black pepper chicken and mango chicken with brown rice. Everything was pretty good. Our server didn’t miss a beat. Prices are reasonable. There’s plenty of parking although the borough is doing construction right outside the restaurant so there is orange fencing and equipment but you can get in and out of the lot with no issues. Hopefully that road project will be done quickly.

Ate so fast I never got a pic of it all! Love Chen’s! Crab Rangoon’s, Golden Dragon Roll, Steamed Shumai, Spare Ribs and Shrimp Lomein and General Tao’s!

I literally have ordered a million times from here, I just won’t bother anymore. I ordered a great amount of food for them to never show up…. This gives a person a bad feeling no matter how much they want to support you! I’d rather take my business elsewhere than sit around waiting to see if my order will magically be around or not.

When they accidentally sent me the wrong food, I called them and they were very polite and sent the correct food item in only 20 minutes. That is excellent service! And the food was delicious as usual. 10/10 thank you for delicious food and fantastic service😊

I am not one to write reviews often but I had to…. I usually order vegetable lo mein from here and I am usually very happy with the amount of Day and variety of vegetables in the lo mein. When I got home and unpacked my food yesterday I portioned out my servicing of VEGTABLE lo mein to only see onion in the noodles. Very disappointed ☹️

My daughter wanted Chinese food for her birthday. We came here. The food was good and the staff was nice. Large portions. We ordered two less dishes than we needed and shared. There was plenty left over for the next day. The restaurant is clean. Good comfort food.

What a dump. My daughter asked for Chinese food for her birthday. We don't expect an expensive and immaculate restaurant. However, this restaurant is not taken care of. It has a busted sign. Going into the store, there were tables stacked with junk. Dirty. We didn't stay to try the food. If they care so little for the restaurant, I don't trust the food.

Travelling on Christmas eve didn't think anything was going to be open, this place was open. Didn't care if it was even good, we were so happy to just find hot food so quick on the road, it was maybe the BEST Chinese food I've ever had. I got pan fried tofu and Broccoli with fried rice and the tofu was crispy and not dry and not wet, the Broccoli was not too crunchy or too soft and not sopping in sauce like a lot of Chinese places. And the rice was perfect in texture and taste. 100% recommend! Can't wait to drive by again

The service was very friendly and quick. The amount of food was good. I think for $40 I walked out with about 10 pounds of food. The flavor was extremely bland. Even the spicy tofu dish wouldn’t be considered spicy by an old white woman in New Zealand. The stirfry rice was also pretty bland.

Can’t find a Panda Express in town that’s why I’m here. To my surprise, Food is good and they stayed busy. Came 2 times and 2’d time like 2 mins to get food , 1st time was like 20mins holy smoke. I think the food is good in general, not too oily as other Chinese places I been tho. Def a 5* in this small town for me. Btw, they are inside Giant and only serve for take out. So , abut pricey as a take out.
