Purple Leaf Chinese & Japanese Cuisine
The service was great, always making sure we were okay and providing refills. The food was amazing, it all came out quick and was the best Chinese food I've ever had honestly.
The other reviews seem like the food looks so different, so I don't know if this is just take out or not. But this is the second time I've ordered take out (first time I ordered General Tso's Chicken, second time I ordered Teriyaki Chicken) and honestly I think it will the last time. Their food has no flavor. It literally tastes like water on chicken. In my experience, General Tso's sauce and Teriyaki sauce is typically dark colored and a bit sticky, like a sauce that actually stays on the food. This Teriyaki Chicken sauce is drippy, almost clear liquid and tastes like nothing. The Miso Soup? Hot water. I tried a bite of my partner's meal (mixed vegetables in brown sauce) and that was not too bad flavor-wise. They also accommodated a custom order for my mother-in-law (shrimp instead of chicken in General Tso's sauce). However she said it was a "different flavor". Otherwise staff has always been pleasant when I pick up in person. I never ate in the restaurant but it looks nice inside.
Joy Chalet Cuisine
The best sushi I've ever had! As a breastfeeding mom, I’m very careful about where I get good sushi. Personally, I trust only this place – it’s clean, the ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is really nice. The owner of the restaurant is such a friendly and pleasant woman. When I buy sushi, it’s always from here. They also have delivery, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this place!
This is hands down one of the best spots for sushi, Chinese, and Thai food in the area! We’ve always had a fantastic experience here. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We usually order items to-go, and everything is packaged perfectly, but we also love sitting in their cozy and welcoming dining area. The oysters deserve a special mention—they are simply incredible, probably the best we’ve ever tried! If you’re a seafood lover, these are a must. The service is always top-notch, with the staff being attentive, warm, and genuinely caring about their customers. It’s clear they take pride in ensuring every guest has a great dining experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and exceptional service!
Jade Island
Vegetable lo mein was very bland and the sesame chicken was super sweet, almost like a sweet and sour chicken. Chicken was also processed and did not taste like real chicken, everything just seems like frozen food reheated
I have been a customer since 1999 and they have changed ownership. On 12/21/2024 I had ordered for delivery through Door Dash and spent a $100 for dinner and they not only forgot an item but the food was terrible and had to throw it out. I don’t understand why since they used to be good .
Wong's Garden
Either they’ve changed ownership or changed cooks but the food is not the same. Been getting Chinese from here since 1996 and it has always been amazing. Last night we got our usual menu items and none of it was the same. Chicken & broccoli (they actually gave me shrimp) was terrible. Boneless ribs were little pieces instead of the usual ribs that are always well done and have the perfect bbq sauce. Egg roll was terrible and the house fried rice had no flavor. Probably won’t order from here again after that experience.
It is really delicious and well cooked, I love it.
Wild Ginger II
Shrimp tempura roll: Very little shrimp, large amount of batter, rice tastes old. Bleh straight in the trash
My husband and his coworkers orders food from Wild ginger few times a week at lunch time and opinions from him was for the tastiness of this place lately for the last couple months has thumbs up and thumbs down.. not consistently taste great. Sometimes the basil fried rice taste awesome sometimes they were bland. And this time I came personally to have lunch last Sunday and we were party of 3. First we were really wish this place has outdoor seating.. just a wish by the way. Second the beef negimaki was ok.. was not that bad but also was not that great. The Tom yum soup in my experience the broth was way to clear and I barely can taste anything.. not enough flavor. One of my favorite seafood is calamari and their crispy calamari definitely is not my favorite here. The only thing good was spicy seafood salad (they were not spicy at all not sure why they said spicy) sweet sour cabbage and the sushi (Angel roll). Also the staff were good too. By the way this place is BYOB
Stone Wok
Food might be a little above average compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Good, easy to get to location with plenty of parking. Dining room is quiet, with lots of booths. Service is fast and servers are pleasant.
Really good food! But there was a worker sitting at the dining area right next to our table doing work that was noisy. Putting paper bags into plastic bags so you can imagine what that sounds like while having a "quiet" meal. Server was great though! Try the steamed gyoza, does not dry out, which is hard to pull off.
China Chef
This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant around. They have the best flavor to their food that I can't describe, it's just better. Their General Tso's and Schezuan Chicken and Shrimp have a nice simple heat. The teriyaki chicken is the most amazing thing I think I've ever eaten. They have great combo meals and individual pint and quart options so it's easy to a combination of your favorite items. Prices have consistently stayed lower than competitors. This is also owned by the nicest family in town!
I decided to try a new place for Chinese takeout. Food was delicious, fresh and not oily. We got the Wonton soup, Shrimp in garlic sauce and Shrimp and lobster sauce combination plates. I highly recommend it. I am posting current menus since others found online do not show their current prices. I dated the menu.
Sakana Sushi Asian Fusion Restaurant
Take out was on the menu for the evening and Sakana did not disappoint. We have eaten here many times before and the food was always good. The prices are very reasonable too. We had two orders of Chicken and Broccoli and an order of Orange Chicken. We never had the orange chicken but the entire family said they would order it again. It was similar to General Tso chicken but with a zesty citrus flair. Yummy. We also ordered some chicken noodle soup and it was delicious. It was light, not too salty and jam packed with long noodles. You can't beat warm soup on a cold night for $4. Lastly, my wife was very pleased with the friendliness and great customer service from the staff upon pick up. We will be back again.
Super friendly staff but honestly the sushi was not good 😭😭😭
Spatola's Pizza
One of the best slices I ever had! White pizza with Ricotta & Tomato. Delicious! The crust was perfect!
Spatolas is our favorite spot for the best pizza. The crust is perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—and the toppings are always fresh and generously portioned. Their garlic knots are a standout, packed with flavor and perfectly baked. The service is friendly and welcoming, creating a cozy, local vibe that makes you want to come back. Whether you’re picking up or dining in, you’re guaranteed a satisfying meal. Definitely a go-to place for pizza lovers!
Anzu Social
We had an amazing lunch here! Stumbled upon this place on a walk through New Hope. The food was incredible! The fish was fresh and the flavors were well balanced. Menu was executed to perfection! Everything we ate was delightful! Also the cocktails!!!!! Can’t wait to come back!
Phenomenal Experience: I live locally and have been looking forward to checking out the new venue. After seeing their Restaurant Week prefix post ; I had to investigate. The food was fantastic The atmosphere warm and inviting Antonio payed personal service to our table and made us feel like VIP customers. We will be sure to visit again, especially for the fantastic Crab Rangoon dish !!
The Good Gyro
Wandering through the Ferry Market in New Hope, I couldn’t resist being drawn to The Good Gyro by the mouthwatering aroma. With so many delicious options on the menu, choosing just one was no easy task! I finally settled on the combination platter, loaded with creamy hummus, a smoky eggplant salad, tender chicken and lamb kebabs, and a refreshing minty tomato salad. Every bite was a flavorful adventure, leaving me already planning my next visit. This spot is definitely one I’ll be coming back to again and again! Nedal thanks for the recommendations, will be seeing you soon.
Stopped by our favorite chocolatier’s shop and needed a lite lunch. We decided on Mediterranean food and we were not disappointed. Tried the Beet hummus appetizer and a ladtke. The presentation and flavor were both outstanding for this stall in Ferry Market. We’ll have to try something else on our next visit; the menu is as robust as the food itself.
ASIAN PALACE
Asian Palace — Where Comfort Food Gets the Royal Treatment If you grew up eating American-style Chinese food on Sunday nights with your family, then walking into Asian Palace is like stepping into a warm, soy-scented memory. The menu reads like a comfort food mixtape—barbecued spareribs that cling to your fingers and your heart, egg rolls that are crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside (the way nature intended), and General Tso’s Chicken that brings the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and crispy bravado. The Moo Shu Pork is a saucy, scallion-studded hug, and the soups—oh, the soups. Egg Drop, Sweet Corn, and my personal favorite: Hot and Sour, with three wontons tossed in . Now for the twist: Asian Palace also has a full-service sushi bar. That means you can get a Spider Roll with your Moo Goo Gai Pan, and somehow that combo works better than it has any right to. But what truly sets this place apart is the family who runs it. The service is flawless—even at the busiest times. Friendly, fast, and genuinely warm, they make you feel like part of the family. Asian Palace isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a reminder that classic dishes, cooked with care and served with heart, still rule the kingdom. Remember to say hello to Winnie at the cash register!!!
I have never left a review so quickly!! First timer and did pickup. O m g. This is the best, freshest Chinese food I’ve ever had. Any other place you cut open the chicken and it GRAY. This was white meat chicken. My husband got sushi and said it was phenomenal. The restaurant itself is spotless and the woman behind the counter was so friendly. Absolutely will be back.
