LANG QI CHINESE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
Foliage
Order was wrong. She misunderstood the order. Paid for food that was provided. Checked everything over on the receipt. Was shorted a beef lo-mien so I went in to get another and told her I asked for 2 over the phone. Waited 15 min longer for correction. Got home and opened the bag. They gave me beef on a stick instead of ribs! 😞 How hard is it to get an order right? 🤦🏻♂️😒
Never had any issues before Order online which is very easy But I guess they did not ready the order all they way. See our order Asked for extra soy sauce for 3 Got no chop sticks which requested Only got the large wonton soup but not the one requested for the combination sweet and sour chicken. Only gave us one container for the sweet and sour sauce, we ordered a separate order of sweet and sour chicken (one should come with each)
Da Ge Xiao Chi
Very delicious
Food is very good
鼎泰轩 Din's Kitchen
This dish looks absolutely mouthwatering! The fish slices appear tender and expertly cooked, with a beautiful golden sheen from the oil and spices. The vibrant red chili peppers add a perfect touch of heat, while the sesame seeds and other seasonings give it a complex, rich aroma. The plating in the metal pot enhances its authenticity, making it feel like a truly indulgent and flavorful experience. I can almost taste the delicious balance of spice, umami, and freshness just by looking at it!
Very good! We got soup dumpling and the pan fried bar. We recommend. We got a very large and yummy malatang. They gave us a free kelp salad as appetizer and grass jelly for dessert :) we spent over $20/person but you could get away with much less
Rich Village
They don't have a tank for seafood in house but can buy fresh on from market down the street, so it's very fresh and market price. We had twin lobster, the large ones for about $60. And a fresh stream fish 盲曹 (2lb) for $50. Other dishes are pretty good in portion and taste.
It is one of my fav. No complaint small but always lot of people...big enough portion good price平靚正
Lucky Vege House
Variety of vegetarian dishes with very good taste and reasonable portions. Service was very fast too despite the huge amount of customers at the same time. I just wish the rice portion wd be a lil bit bigger.
Our new favorite restaurant! We come here every time for all occasions. Their menu selection is very large so we've been getting something new to try each time! They also sell veg-based meats and other food items.
鸭先生老鸭粉丝汤Mr Duck
I got the 老鸭粉丝汤 takeout. The woman on the phone was really kind. They separate the soup from the noodle. A good amount of toppings. Also, they pack the cilantro separately and gave smaller container of hot chili oil and black vinegar.
Great service and great food too!!! Fresh and high quality.
Tipsy Shanghai
Before you decide to go, understand one thing. Chinese spots are divided into 2. Your mid day/late night oily greasy extremely sweet but sometimes satisfying food. And then your sit down close to authentic Chinese cuisine. This place is in the second category It’s a bit hidden but if you’re looking for it, you’ll find it. Very small and cozy place. Nice and intimate for a quick date spot As far as the food goes, the general Tsos was good. I liked that it wasn’t overly sweet. However, I feel like they could add a bit more savory sweetness to it because it was a tad bit underwhelming. The beef fried rice was very average. I understand that they might keep the flavor neutral if you want to pair it with some other meat but the beef had virtually no flavor and the rice was not adequately seasoned. Not entirely bland but for the price, you’d be expecting more. In total, what you’re seeing was about $30 and for that price, I expect more. Not to compare to the quick in and out Chinese spots but I’ve had great Chinese food from those spots for a way cheaper price. Nothing here was bad. But it was not exceptional
It was my first time at Tipsy Shanghai and I must say the food was delicious. Custom service was excellent and they also gave me a complimentary fruit salad! It’s a great place to bring your friends and family and enjoy their authentic food. I will definitely come back to this place.
Main Tin Restaurant
It's your standard Chinese-American food. We ordered to-go The food was piping hot, fresh, and service was quick and friendly. I ordered the shrimp with broccoli since it's Good Friday and I can't eat meat, and I wasn't expecting the little kick in spice. It was not overwhelming at all and very tasty. A ton of food. It's enough to feed 2 of us for 2 nights with reasonable prices.
It made me very sad to see my families favorite Chinese place completely empty. It did give me a chance to chat with the owner more than I had before. Best Chinese food in the charleston. Many times better than the place in Kaneha City. Don't just come for the lunch buffet. The spicy chicken in brown sauce is sooooo good.
East Wind Snack Shop
We wanted to grab a quick bite before my wife had to go to a show in the city for work and I needed to make my way back home. It was the right amount of food and the right amount of time! It was also all very delicious! HEAT HOT but delicious as they are made fresh.
Only had takeout but very mediocre. Thought it would be better based on the reviews but I wouldn’t consider returning. The noodles were completely stuck together as one noodle blob. I even arrived to pickup earlier than 15 mins and it seems like to sat for awhile. Not worth the money. I had the Shanghai belly noodles.
China Wok
I use to enjoy this food until last couple times and tonight was like rubber chicken, so hard I could not eat it. I’ll only go to Chippewa from now on. 40 dollars and no offer of refund. Shame
For a small dumpy town, this Asian fare is quite good. Prices up, but that’s everywhere. It is take away but you are free to use dining room. I’ve gone here for years and my fav is the app chicken wings. Yes, they are very good and tasty. Folks think these joints are all cookie cutter, but take it from me, they are not. Some really suck, some don’t. Try it 👍🏼
Mr. Wonton
Quick service and large portions! Came for lunch and got the lunch special which is an entree with rice plus soup. Ordered fried wontons because it’s in their name 😂 The AC wasn’t on inside for the majority of our meal and we could feel the sweat dripping down our backs as we ate. Not so fun eating inside on a hot day and still sweating. Regardless, food was your classic American Chinese fare. Yummy and filled the craving we were looking for.
Great location and a nice dining room. Service was great, and the food was amazing. Great price with even better taste. Amazing! (photos are from a takeout order from a second visit!🥰)
