Update: Why did you close down??? Im finally in Portland again. I absolutely enjoyed the food. Got a whole Roast Duck, bokchoy in garlic, ginger sauce, Chinese broccoli in Oyster Sauce, vegetable fried rice, and Duck, noodle soup. They actually give you the whole duck at this establishment. I recommend this restaurant.

friendly service with a nice amount of indoor seating! food came with oolong tea, which was perfect. general tso chicken was pretty good, more on the sweet side although it was slightly spicy too house special pan-fried noodles: decent noodles here; they were properly crispy and crunchy and the brown sauce was tasty. the bbq pork was more flavorful than what you would find at other places! otherwise, fairly standard and delicious egg flower soup: it was OK. overall, a great place to get some pan-fried noodles and other yummy dishes

Good Cantonese Chinese food. Ginger beef and wet chow fun are quite good. Sad to see how run down Old Town Chinatown has become, but that was the only real negative about going there again for the first time in years.

Nothing but drunk homeless people to look at and engage with. Beef was fatty and jiggly. Mushrooms were tough and hard. Lipstick all over our dishes. Lovely place. Had a fantastic time. Left the food. Yuck!

Food Safety Hazard! Ordered a chicken chop suey and chicken egg foo young. The chicken was spoiled/rotten and smelled rancid. Didn't notice until taking a bite since it was covered in sauce. Had to spit out because of how sour it was! Tried to salvage the dish by picking out the chicken but realized it was in vain since there were flakes of it already mixed all over. Same problem with the egg foo young. Felt nauseous afterwards and lost my appetite. I experienced a similar situation before when ordering a scallion beef dish, the texture was slimy and overly velveted, but thought it was a one-off. I really wish this restaurant the best because I want to love it, there's not many places like this anymore that serves these classic dishes, but unfortunately the food quality control and safety issues really need to be addressed.

I was so impressed with the service, my partner and I had just sat down and we got waters and menus. Our meals came about 15 minutes after we ordered our meals. The bartender I had, Heather, knows her booze and makes a mean bloody mary. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant/bar.
