Lee's Garden Chinese Restaurant
Placed order online for pickup (1st time ordering from here)- noted to be ready by 6pm - I was waiting until 630 for order. Next, I've never had peanuts in mongolian chicken, nor does the pictures or menu description say peanuts are in the dish - I have peanut allergy. Since this was pickup I didnt realize til I got home and unpacked - still awaiting a resolution
Great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. I enjoy the Mar Far Chicken and fried rice w/ gravy. It reminds me of a place I used to frequent in Texas in my college days so the nostalgia may be the driving force in my review. Great service, food is made to order quickly, and the portion sizes are always big enough to feed multiple people.
Wok Master
I really wanted to love this! When I see Wok I’m thinking full flavor, charred noodles veg and chicken in a chow mein but unfortunately that was not the case. The chicken chowmein has really great flavor but without that char the textures are off. Chicken is very soft and the noodles rather gummy. I would have liked to see a little more cabbage and carrots, very little amount. Same with the beef and broccoli it’s sitting in a runny sauce when I’d assume it to be a thick soft and firm pieces of beef, slightly charred broccoli but none of that. I will say it’s cooked VERY well. Good flavor but texture is more of a Chinese restaurant. Not something I’d assume from a Wok. Crab Rangoon’s were not crispy but soft and chewy the filling had good flavor but husband did not care for it. Pot stickers are okay, soft not crispy and we asked for pan fried. Wouldn’t get it again. Spent almost $50 and I’m not unhappy but a little disappointed. Also online menu says 8 pot sticker but we only got 6 so not sure if the menu changed, or if truck has updated.
First time trying this place so wasn't sure what to expect. First off everything had a fishy aftertaste - We ordered the orange chicken & fried rice (spicier than I expected so I won't order that again), sesame chicken with chow mein (it was OK, but not as crispy as the picture looked so didn't meet expectation but ok, just ok, flavorwise) the noodles (which cost an extra $3) didn't have much flavor so we mixed in some Japanese bbq sauce when we got home. Also ordered the garlic wok chicken this was actually the most edible item we ordered. Let's just say I wasn't too impressed and this isn't a place I will HAVE TO HAVE again anytime soon - also portion sizes don't seem to match the price (smaller portions in a lunch size container) usually the size of container this was in is what you recieve in a lunch size menu for about $10 at other restaurants
WOK IN
The food is a great price, especially considering the AMOUNT they give you. And it tastes soo good. The sesame chicken & broccoli beef are amazing! Great addition to Gresham. The owners are truly kind & attentive. LOVE THIS PLACE!
I ordered wok in because it’s been soon good! Got their orange chicken today and was absolutely disappointed. It tastes like sweet and sour chicken. No orange flavor except for the color. I haven’t had it in about 2 months and it was soooo good. But this time? Gross! I don’t like sweet and sour chicken and this is what every single other Asian places sweet and sour tastes like. Over battered, under cooked and not an orange flavor to be tasted. Updated 03/02/2025 Wok in replied to my concern saying that it doesn’t look like neither the orange chicken or the sweet and sour. They said they would look at cameras but I don’t know what that entails. I sent in the date and time and my order confirmation screen from the website. Do they watch the cooks make the food to ensure the quality? They haven’t responded in a day but I’m hopeful I will get an answer this week. Update 03/04/2025 At this point the negative review will stand. I will try something else on their menu another time to give it another go. I am highly concerned that their reply to this review was deleted. I wasn’t looking for a refund but wanted to ensure that if that’s how their “orange chicken” is that I never order it again.
Dragon Palace
I ate a good amount and still had a to go container. Huge portion, and quite flavorful. It is fairly priced based on portion size. 10/10 a must try.
My husband, son, and I ate here today. It is delicious, well cooked, and we will become regulars here. :) The sushi is phenomenal! The sweet and sour chicken and egg soup was outstanding! The happy family with their sauce kept me going for more bites! My son loved his fries and fried rice.
Szechuan Open Kitchen
We ordered the sweet n sour pork, the five flavor shrimp, and the gluten free orange chicken. The whole meal was delicious. The crab puffs and spring rolls were delicious. Sweet n sour soup was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Once in a while, we love to order from Szechuan Open Kitchen. Our favorites are the Sashimi Beef and General Tso's Chicken, and they’re always as good as we remember, with the same great flavors. The service and atmosphere are okay, but the food keeps us coming back!
Panda Express
Poor food quality. We eat here maybe once a month. It is a hit and miss with this location. Sometimes the food is good and most of the time’s below standards. I love noodles. But for some reason this location gives you more vegetables than the noodles. Tired of the crappy service as the employees remarks are, “that is how the food is made”…. If I wanted a salad I would order a salad but I want noodles! Why is it hard for Panda Express to accommodate the right amount of noodles? Very frustrating and disappointing. Waste of my hard earned money!
certain hours of day affect food quality, noticed. last time rice was dry, food wasn’t as tasty but this time it’s better. I can smile now.
Panda Express
Been to this location several times, and it’s never been this bad. We walked into a very dirty restaurant with all the tables covered in food crumbs, straws on the floor, & drink station an absolute mess. They were out of chow mein, which was alright. They told us we had to wait five minutes. After, paying for our food and taking a seat. We had to wipe our dirty table.. 10-15 minutes later we finally received our food. I ordered the chow main bowl with grilled chicken. As you can see in the photo the chicken was BURNT, I couldn’t even bite through it. Makes sense why they couldn’t cut through it.. DEFINITELY not worth the wait or the $10. I’m very disappointed by the lack of quality and cleanliness. The chicken was not fresh, had lots of fat. 👎🏼
Value. That’s what you’re getting from Panda over every other restaurant in town. I’ve ate at this Panda dozens of times and every time received good food, excellent service and the atmosphere is what you expect at this price point. The staff is friendly, professional, and quick. The amount and quality of the food you get for $10 is objectively better than a lot of other places and it re heats well. Staff is friendly, professional, and quick. They also advertise their pay for lower management employees as well as entry level employees in the restaurant in an effort to recruit new people which I commend. Not many fast food restaurants would do that for obvious reasons which helps me feel better about eating here.
