Happy Delicious Chinese Food & Bubble Tea
Greetings, Was hungry after work and the Veggie Lo Mein looked good and wasn't too spendy. It was delicious and flavorful with lots of veggies. Would definitely get again. Have also tried a bubble tea that was good as well, and I like I could choose the milk and it includes 2 add ins. Customer service is excellent š. Great job all around: thank you!
First Google review because I just had to! The family who runs the cart is so so nice and the food was absolutely delicious. The broccoli was perfectly steamed, the potstickers were cooked to perfection (soft on the inside, but not soggy at all, and a crisp crunchy seam mmmm!!) and the General tso chicken was the best flavor Iāve ever had. 10 stars!!
New Hing's Restaurant
The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The food came very quickly after we ordered. The price is also very reasonable and they give very large portions. Unfortunately I came away from the meal feeling disappointed in the food. The flavors and quality of the ingredients just weren't there for me.
This is an older restaurant with new management. For its many fans, no fears⦠the chef and wait staff have been retained so you wonāt miss out on favorites. As a new party of 3, we were welcomed by the new owners, Iris and Alex. Warm and gracious they directed us to their menu and made suggestions. We chowed down on crispy crab puffs, potstickers, and 2 different soups. These were followed up with sauteed green beans with chicken and black beans sauce, homestyle tofu, broccoli with oyster sauce and deep fried salmon and cod fish. What a feast!! Plenty to eat and take home for sure. Fresh and hot with great Chinese flavors. If you are in the area this is the place to go. Street and back lot parking is available, a full bar, a gaming room for you LOTTO fans, and a banquet room for events. Full marks for service and food. Update 11/23/23 Second visit a few days ago. They are still going great with nice atmosphere good food and warm greetings.
Double Dragon
This was our first time here and we were very impressed. It was very clean and well maintained and the waitress was very polite and helpful. We came in right before dinner time, and our food was at our table within minutes after we ordered. The food tasted so fresh and flavorful you can tell they care about the customer's experience. It's an instant favorite for us, and we can't wait to go back.
Today we had dinner at this restaurant. Incredibly delicious food, a wonderful combination of taste in each dish. Got a lot of pleasure from dinner in this place. All very tasty, large portions, reasonable price. I would like to mention the polite and caring staff. Thanks a lot.
Wan Lung Restaurant
ššFor $16.75, this is definitely the place to come for a value! I had one of their Combo dishes that had both the vegetable lo-mein and BBQ fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, fried prawns (shrimp), and soup [I had the egg drop] and hot tea. Everything was super quick and hot. I liked how they put the S/s sauce down as a base on a separate plate and set the chicken on top of that so it wasn't soggy. Even the fried prawns were pretty large, so it wasn't just all batter caked up to make it look larger...that was mostly shrimp! I was able to get thru the soup, shrimp, some FR/lo-mein, and a third of S/S chicken before I had to throw in the towel𤣠It was just as good the next day too, as most Chinese food is š
Hands down the BEST Chinese food Iāve ever had. The service is amazing, portion sizes are out of this world and the food is absolutely scrumptious. You will have plenty of leftovers but still want to come back again and again! I had the family combo with amazing hot and sour soup (so homemade!) and orange chicken (delicious); but the kung pao chicken is beyond compare. Do yourself a favor hand try it!
Golden Taste
Weāve never eaten in the actual restaurant but takeout has yet to disappoint! They are always very friendly upon pick up and happy to assist in trying to decide what to order. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Always enough for leftovers the next day. The only dish we havenāt been thrilled about was the Kung Pao Chicken. Just didnāt end up being our favorite. The House Special Lo Mein is fantastic. So yummy!
The food was fine. Nothing to complain about, really, or to go crazy for. I would say a 3.5 as it was clean, nice people, and fine food. My biggest complaint would be their sides for their combinations. They vary greatly! If you pay extra, you get four pieces of fried shrimp, which is nothing - especially compared to many other similar restaurants. And, if you order the side of spring roll you get one pre-made cheap bagged spring roll. The rest was fine.
The Essence of China
I had the strangest experience here. Walked into an empty restaurant save for one family. The hostess just seemed really surprised I wanted to eat there. I am Asian, she was Caucasian. It wasn't negative but just like... Being surprised to have a customer. That said, I did not enjoy the food. Menu options were limited and from the 1980s. Sweet and sour soup had way more corn starch in it than it should have. Vegetables and noodles were overcooked. Seasoning was flavorless Place was clean though!
Love the Fish filet in General Toas sauce. The fish is so tender, and the flavorful sauce is a perfect match on the dish. Also, like the taste on the shrimp and lobster sauce, this is a dish that you don't want to judge the book by its cover. Presentation was dull and starchy, but the flavor was good. Our most recent visit, we decided to try new dishes, but it was really bad or did the cook just have a bad day? Egg flower soup was watery. Steam rice looks like overnight rice and lukewarm. The honey walnut shrimp was not as good. Will stay away for awhile.
Pine Garden Restaurant
Iām obsessed with this place. The food is always wonderful with great service. I always get the combo and I always have leftovers.
I've gotten Togo twice from here. Very kind people! My great grandma would be happy that I found a good togo Chinese place so close to home! Salt and pepper tofu is one of THE BEST I've ever had. Please don't change this recipe. The crisp, the FLAVOR, wow. 10/10 Beef chow fun is always a go-to, huge portion and lots of flavor. 10/10 Crab puffs are good for the price with how many you get String green beans are good! I wish I could find a place that put minced pork and preserved spicy radish in it. Still one of my favorite dishes. General Tao's was good but not my go-to dish. Ordered it for my husband. Prawns with lobster sauce is ok. I tried the prawns in black bean sauce last time, I liked that better. I think I'm looking for something too specific. I had a dish in Louisiana that was crawfish in lobster sauce and the sauce was a dark brown, very flavorful, lots of onion, had black beans too. I can't find that here (not expecting crawfish but I'd like the same sauce) I think they mix the two together? Not sure but I'll be doing some research to find the exact sauce! Overall WOW this place is really good, affordable, and has huge portions!
Noodle Man
Thr Noodle Man is located in a nice area with lots of safe parking. Making a to go order via walk-in was quick and painless. Our meals were made quickly and were both very delicious! Friendly service and decent prices.
Surprisingly enough, the food was good for a small place. Their menu is very limited to soups and fried noodles, and a few appetizers. However, they do specialized in their hot soups. It wasn't the place we had in mind that night for dining. We ended up here trying to get out of the traffic rush hour on the freeway. And we made the right choice! I love the Pork belly noodle soup. The broth alone was phenomenal. My husband had the chicken noodle soup. And we ordered an extra order of pork belly and beans chow mein. It was a fantastic dinner. It's a definitely our new go-to place for hot soups!
New Hunan Kitchen
We've ordered food here a few times and we've enjoyed it. It's definitely Americanized Chinese food, so keep that in mind. My partner is Chinese-American and he enjoys it too. They have great service and are friendly. We have ordered sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, bbq pork, pork fried rice, fried shrimp, sesame beef, and pot stickers. If ordering to go, I recommend asking for sauces on the side, especially for the lemon chicken. They thoughtfully package their food to release steam so food stays crunchy. Really appreciate that! We did have one batch of dried out chicken once but that was out of our typical experience. One thing to try for sure is their concoction of spicy mustard with sweet and sour sauce which came with our bbq pork... We dipped everything in it. It's genius. Leftovers for days!
Update: we went late at around 8:30 pm April 2023 and ordered food to go. To our surprise the prices have gone up drastically and we paid around $70 for dry flavorless food. We only ordered 4 plates but most of it ended up in the trash, the portions were smaller than I remembered, certain parts had big chunks of salt while the noodles had absolutely no flavor. The orange chicken was less than desirable, the recipe has been changed and sauce tastes artificial . Overall my family was very disappointed with our dinner selection. We were in the neighborhood not knowing what to eat for lunch, and pick the first spot we saw in the area, so happy to have found this little place. We placed the order in person, food was ready within 15 mins, we tried 5 items, not too greasy, very flavorful, it ended up being so much food. Iām usually skeptical about Chinese food but we really enjoyed everything.
Golden Key Chinese Restaurant
The food is always delicious. The menu is huge. Anything you could want, they have on there. Everyone is super friendly. The prices are very reasonable.
Today we decided to try this restaurant. We were so excited for good Chinese food. However our experience was so incredibly disappointing. The Orange Chicken came dry with the sauce on the side. The chicken was over cooked and so crispy you could barely chew it, even when mixed with the sauce. The fried pork rice was burned and tasted burnt as well. The crab wontons were so hard and chewy that we couldn't even eat them. The chicken Lo' Mein was ok. The egg rolls tasted off, like they would make you ill if you kept eating it. We spent over $80 and ended up throwing most of it away. So disappointing. I had hoped for really great food. I don't think we will ever eat here again.
New Lantern Chinese Restaurant
This is our favorite place for Chinese food. Lee is a wonderful server. The lunch special is a fantastic deal and available until 3pm. The food is always fresh and hot but comes out quickly. The only thing I'm not a fan of is their sweet and sour sauce but we don't normally order that anyway. Last time I was there I ordered the Beef Mushroom Noodle with gravy off of the soup section and it was amazing and huge! Tender beef, crisp vegetables and the noodles were perfect in a rich broth. Definitely going to be a craving for me. It had baby corn in it too but I can't eat corn so took it off before I took the picture.
So Delicious š we had Kung Pao tofu, and even though it wasnāt on the menu, we asked if we could make a sweet-and-sour tofu and they did no problem. excellent food excellent service excellent atmosphere. we shouldāve taken photos šøbefore we ate, but we were so hungry that we devoured it. We will definitely be back and leave photos next time.
Happy Family Restaurant
Food and service was top notch. My wife and I brought in our two toddlers who made a mess eating their chicken fried rice around 3pm on Saturday. We were seated quickly and it was slow enough that the restaurant was quiet. Staff were friendly with our kiddos and they were understanding that toddlers are toddlers haha. Family of 4 comes to a cost of $40 before tip! Here's some photos of the food!
We love coming to this place. Everything is always hot, fresh, super quick, and filling. They also had an amazing lunch deal before 3pm this Sunday.
