Lovely desserts! Came here for my birthday with my family and we had really wonderful, delicious desserts

Nom³ Street is located inside Honeymoon Dessert in SkyCity Plaza in Scarborough. It is such a nostalgic food cart concept from HK, where we get to enjoy classic HK-styled street food in skewers! My favoruites were definitely the curry fishballs, cuttlefish balls, and red sausage! Their housemade curry is extra SPICY, but you can also get non-spicy curry with your order ^^

I had a fantastic dining experience! We tried the shrimp and pork dim sum, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly steamed and full of flavor. We also ordered a few other items from the menu, and everything we tasted was top-notch. The ambiance was wonderful, with a cozy yet lively atmosphere that made for a very pleasant meal. The service was impeccable—friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Very tasty and fresh dim sum, I really like how clean and spacious the place is considering the location being old Chinatown. Service was also great every one had a positive energy around them. They have their whole menu from dim sum, lunch and dinner on their iPad which you order from. Everything was super tasty, we really enjoyed the squid tentacles which were battered differently compared to a lot of other places, the shrimp rice noodle roll and buns were also super enjoyable. Every dish we had didn’t disappoint. Price was a bit on the pricey compared to uptown dim sum. We ordered 6 dim sum dishes which came up to $85 with tip and tax.

Loved the food. By far the best Hakka we have had in GTA! We ordered Hakka chilli chicken noodles, chicken fried rice and chilly shrimp (gravy). We ordered plain dosa also for our little one and the chutneys were good. Sambhar was ok. Service was quick and efficient. Didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. Would definitely recommend this place to Indian Chinese taste lovers ! The quantity and price ratio can be improved.

Rowdy’s Indian and Hakka Cuisine is a must-visit! They serve the best blend of authentic Indian and Hakka flavors. The Chinese dishes are top-notch, and the Indian food tastes truly authentic. The sizzler is absolutely mouthwatering! Great ambience, delicious food—highly recommend for anyone craving real, flavorful cuisine.

A diamond in the rough!! This is one of the best Chinese food spots in all of the GTA. Prices are excellent. Can literally get most combos for under $10 which is unheard of nowadays. The food is amazing every time. A few favourites are the chicken wings, beef ho fun, spicy salt pepper pork chop and beef satay egg noodle soup. Dine in is excellent and take out is good too as long as you have an air fryer readily available. Decent amount of seating but it is very dated. Overall highly recommended and will always pop by every time I’m in the area. 👌

This restaurant offers delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine, with dishes that are consistently fresh and well-prepared. The perfect balance of spices and ingredients makes each meal a true delight. The service is both friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant experience every time. Highly recommended!

When we arrived at the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell, which made us hesitant to dine in. We started with pani puri, but it was very disappointing—the water and the aloo lacked flavor. Next, we ordered pav bhaji, which was good, followed by chole bhatura, which was also enjoyable. However, the masala dosa was a letdown—the aloo filling was bad, and both the chutney and sambhar were disappointing. Lastly, we ordered Manchurian, but it mostly consisted of capsicum, which was quite disappointing. Overall, while some dishes were good, others were below expectations, and the initial atmosphere didn’t make for a pleasant dining experience.

This is my second review and it’s genuine. Owner has managed to remove the review so I had to post it again. And now I am going to take next step as I think owner doesn’t care about what he/she has done by removing this review and not responding back as well. I visited this place on 9th November 2024 and never imagined this place could be unhygienic. I always loved having food from here not only that I have ordered catering few days ago but was not aware of unhygienic food. Firstly I wanted to share experience of staff they never give attention to the people seating waiting for someone to come even if they are not busy very poor service we still like to go there because of the taste of food I ignored service. But this time it was something else and I couldn’t stop myself to give review about food that I ordered and found out insect from Pulav. When I told about it and showed to one of the staff member she said should I bring something else instead 😀I mean just to hide their mistake they are trying compassionate me with food. I could go beyond review but I understand the consequences of it. Kitchen staff should know the seriousness of it and owner please keep eye on your staff. You are loosing genuine customers by not taking action.

No idea why this place is so highly rated. The staff are friendly and seem to know all the customers, so I presume it's frequented by regulars. Prices are very reasonable the roasts meats are fresh and well made. There's nothing fancy here, some portions are on the smaller side but reflected in the lower prices. Food wise it's definitely above average and service was good. Roast meats r the standout items, don't get the spicy salt mixed seafood, thick batter and over cooked. As good as it gets in Broadview

I came here 3 times in 2 weeks and ordered roast pork every time. My regular spot in this Chinatown used to be a nearby restaurant but I think this one is my new fav. It's busy, but not as busy as the other one and the staff makes such a big difference too. The lady here is so crazy friendly. We felt like friends after only 1 visit. She recognised us right away and was very attentive. I then brought my whole family, and she immediately found a place for all of us, which is amazing considering that this place is not very big and always busy. Some of the dishes are much better than others, but if you're craving Cantonese food, this is an excellent choice in the area.

Danforth Dragon Restaurant 0

The chilli chicken lunch special is what you need for a mid-week pickup for a comforting set of fried chilli chicken, and steamed rice with a side of hot and sour soup.

I’ve never had to do this, but I’m so dismayed with how the reviews here and on Uber Eats could be so misleading. Danforth Dragon was a huge disappointment. The General Tso chicken was unpalatable. Greasy, breaded, SOGGY, chicken with a nondescript sauce. The butter chicken was made with fatty cuts of what I think was chicken in an orange ketchup(?). The naan was not naan. It was stale pita and cool to the touch (even though wrapped in aluminum). When we realized that even the white rice was overcooked and unsalted we decided to call the restaurant. They were surprised and apologized that we didn’t like the food…what else could we expect them to say? We got our money back via Uber Eats. I had leftovers and my gf swallowed some white rice with some of the “ketchup butter chicken sauce” 🤢

My favorite restaurant in Toronto! But I don’t recommend friends who don’t like the spicy food 🌶️ to be there😄! As it’s really a place for the chilies lovers! Every cuisine is amazing 🤩, two of us ordered a lot, cause we couldn’t help ourselves. Every dish is my favorite!❤️

Every dish we tried was very tasty, lots of depth to flavours - mind you, it is definitely quite spicy. Servers were kind, food was served moderately on time. We were seated in one of the side rooms and in our experience, seating can be a bit more comfortable.

Menali Restaurant 0

One of the best meals I’ve had in ages. Menali has an extensive menu that I look forward to exploring. Today I started simple with chili chicken (medium heat), garlic rice and mountain hariyali momos. Every dish was a home run. The chili chicken was delicious and well spiced and the garlic rice was wonderful with bits of flavourful garlic mixed through. The momos were probably the highlight. Beautifully presented, they were delicious and came with two accompanying sauces (mild and very hot—both very good). My taste buds were dancing. The service was excellent and I enjoyed chatting with the friendly server who promised to recommend some delicious Indian dishes on my next visit. This family run business offers up incredible meals--I’ll be back again soon. A real gem on the Danforth.

We stopped by Menali a few weeks ago for a date night dinner on the weekend. The restaurant is well rated and has a good amount of variety in Indian (and Hakka) cuisine on the menu. The restaurant is a lovely space. There's plenty of seating here. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes. Starting with chilli fried Momos, which was not enjoyable as they seemed a bit overdone. Momos are generally light and fluffy. In this case, the outer crust was crisp but then the Momo as a whole was quite chewy. The 'chilli sauce' is quite flavourful and savoury, while a little on the salty side. Not a bad starter but I would avoid the fried version. For our mains we ordered tandoori shrimp, saffron rice and an eggplant curry. The shrimp were a miss. They were overcooked and chewy. The mint sauce however is quite good. The eggplant curry is a little on the sweeter side but we both enjoyed it. It's creamy, savoury and spiced nicely. Paired with rice or naan this was excellent. Lastly the naan and rice here are pretty good. Saffron pilav was good but again not worth the price imo. Overall, this is a pleasant restaurant for a nice meal but if you're looking for good Indian food, Menali might disappoint.

I personally love congee queen and always went to the centrepoint mall location. We decided to try the OG location. It was goooood! Its a much smaller location. All dishes had great umami flavour. They tasted like how good congee queen dishes taste. I loved it and cant wait to go back.

Every time we go to Toronto, we go to this Congee Queen location for dinner the day we arrive. This Congee Queen is the best among other Congee Queen locations. We normally order Fried Rice Noodle with beef (E25), Chicken fried rice with Salted Fish (H11), Snow Pea Leaves stir fried with garlic (K17). The food portion is always huge. The taste is consistently good. If you pay cash, you get 10% discount. The only thing we don’t like is their in-house spicy sauce. It wasn’t spicy at all. Too much vinegar put in the sauce. Not tasty at all. I hope that the restaurant management can get the spicy sauce from any supermarket instead of making the sauce in the kitchen to save cost.
