Ming Teh Restaurant
I cross the Peace bridge just to come here and go back to Buffalo! Absolutely love this restaurant. The food, the service, and the atmosphere is always so welcoming and amazing. My husband, friends, and I always make it a point to come here when we are in the area. I would always recommend this restaurant to friends and family. The food here is always delicious and freshly made with great portion sizes, tea is great, and drinks are good too. Highly recommend!!
Had lunch here today for the first time. We really enjoyed it. The welcome from the owners was hospitable and friendly. The food is plentiful and very tasty. They have a great view overlooking the river.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
We have ordered from this restaurant many times over 10 years with only 3 less than acceptable meals. Last night was one of them. We ordered lemon chicken and usually it is a huge chicken breast, with light batter (yummy). This time, it was all batter, doughy, very little chicken and the batter tasted rancid. Very disappointed --- very cold snowy night. Was not about to go back , etc. Please do not cheat us out of good food for paying cash. Thanks,
First time picking up food at this place! They were fast and efficient! The food taste amazing!! Loved the Egg Rolls so fresh! Chicken teriyaki was so soft and tasty! The Egg noodles house special are fantastic!! Highly recommend and coming back for sure
Pho Xuan Tang
This was my first time at this food spot. I was looking for some good pho and I’m glad I went here! The staff was really nice and the pace is very clean. The pho was really taste 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to come back again
I love this place. I've been there a few times where I have dined in and did take away. The broth for the Pho is amazing, the meats have been cooked well, the noodle and rice is always great and the staff is friendly. Looking forward to visiting again soon,
Pita Pit
Pita Pit is in a new location but still on Garrison, a little further west than it was , in a new mini mall. Big new store, lots of tables. Friendly staff. Update: Pita Pit continues to be great in Fort Erie
We're at Pita Pit around 6:15 to 6:27 Thursday ( March 21 ) The person who served us was efficient and very personable. We got two rice bowls and a shawarma wrapped and all very good and prepared very well. We'll be back for sure.
Yukiguni II
All you can eat. For those small portions the food is def overpriced but the worst part is that they charge extra $20 for leftovers. For me and my bf the dinner cost over $100 and we never coming back
I am glad that I can still find an authentic Japanese restaurant in Fort Erie. We've been ordered takeout from them a long time ago, and this is actually our first time dining in. They offer a la carte or all you can eat. Price is reasonable and the menu has a lot of varieties. Everything we ordered is fresh. We had a great dine in experience :)
Ming's Kitchen
Best egg roll and chicken balls I've ever had and the rice is also great. I would have gave four stars but the woman said they don't sell drinks. So I had to stop at a corner store to get a Coke.
What we’ve tried so far has been amazing! Jar do Wings, General Tso, Fried Rice, Beef & Broccoli, Wonton Soup, Shanghai Noodles and there is so much more we have to explore. The service is great! We’ve ate in as well as picked up food and it’s always quick and hot.
Bamboo Restaurant
Bamboo is a favorite. It's been around forever. Food is top notch. 😋 service was slower than usual and they do a lot of take out. Mostly take out. You could grab a table or sit at the front. It was cold inside while I waited so it's really a take out place. Awesomeness 👌
Do not order here. Hate to say it but this was such a waste of money and an embarrassing display of take out! I will follow up with pictures but we ordered dinner for 6 and here's how it went: The good: 1) fried rice was decent The bad: 1) Chicken balls were all dough 2) Egg rolls were flat and tasted old 3) chow mein was really "gooey" and had no real flavour 4) Honey Garlic spare ribs were a miserable excuse for meat 5) Breaded shrimp was very doughy and the vein wasn't removed...in my opinion this is disgusting. 6) Menu said that $70 before tax would get extra chicken balls or chicken wings...I assume breaded shrimp was given instead but it was gross. I hate to call out a restaurant like this but this is terrible. If you serve food to the public then you should take pride in it. Maybe my expectations are too high but if you think this is "good food" then you may be delusional. *maybe update the inside restaurant....it's falling apart. Tile coming off the floor place hasn't changed in 40 years.
Happy Jack's Restaurant & Patio
Rarely would I give a 5 star review but Happy Jacks in Fort Erie deserves it. Its reputation preceded it so I really needed to try it. My brother and I went down there and were greeted by Alvin and his staff and given a table. The service and attention to detail was unparalleled by any other restaurant I've ever been in. Wonton soup as a starter, perfect. Egg rolls with house made hot mustard (extremely hot, like horseradish not for the faint of heart) and a house made plum sauce, both were excellent. They even make their crispy wontons that you put into the soup which was a really nice touch! Our main meal was exceptional. Alvin suggested, and then brought us the Sizzling Pork, which any restaurant would be proud (if they had it) to consider a signature dish. The staff is so attentive and sincere... an absolute dining experience. We thank you again Alvin and his brother for a great night!
Warm and welcomed by the staff from the phone to the front door. We placed an order for take out and they quickly had our dinner prepared for us. The Tao's chicken, happy fried rice and beans with greens were all very delicious. Don't forget to add the jumbo chili shrimp, they're so flavorful! We made the trip from Welland and by the time we got home our food was still hot. Definitely worth the drive if you're outside of Fort Erie.
