We dined with the family. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. We were welcomed and taken to our table. After that we were told to scan a bar code to place order for the food. The challenge we faced was not all dishes in the online menu were in English making it difficult for us navigate and select dishes. We tried to get the waiters attention however they didn’t come over to our table. The food didn’t arrive all at once and was lukewarm on arrival. The waiters didn’t come once to our table to check in. Overall our experience is average.

This restaurant offers a rich and delicious selection of Chinese cuisine. We tried some Northeastern dishes, and the flavors were very authentic. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is fast, and it's definitely worth recommending.

We heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and we decided to try it out. We got here a bit early around 4:30pm Saturday and it wasn’t too packed. We ordered the signature sweet ribs and the chicken pot, they are so good! Really feels like family style cooking - not overloaded with salt or MSG. We tried their dessert as well which are equally good. Highly recommend if you are looking for some authentic Cantonese food.

It is a good staple Chinese restaurant, with some added uniqueness in some of their dishes. As a family we tried their specialty spareribs, a popular item. I think we were just not expecting the difference in ribs per bone, the dry and the moist. The chunky, moist ribs were excellent but the dry were just not great, so the dish overall was just lacking. Flavour was good but depending on the rib it was either amazing or terrible. Otherwise everything else was good, you know that precision that almost every Chinese restaurant hits in terms of quality of their dishes. It was very busy when we went, it took a long time to get a table but we were able to get seated and they were helpful in providing a child seat for my nephew. Noting it as a taste-worthy spot in this part of Mississauga.

This is my second time coming to this place. The last time was during the pandemic. The flavors are good, and the serving speed is just right. The soup noodles have a large portion and taste decent. I thought the fried noodles would have a tomato flavor. 😆 The service is also good; they are very responsive to requests.

All dishes ordered taste good. (Fried rice need improve a little bit) . Overall very good choice for a late dinner. Open until 10:30pm , most of the restaurant closed at 9pm. Service is very good too. Even when it is late, the waitress still is full of energy, warm welcomes you when you walked in, helps you to order, explain the menu, clean the empty dishes, refill water quickly . Very impressive.

Been here twice. Compared to Markham Chinese food, this place is OK. Not too expensive for their portion size. The fried squid is not bad. Waitresses here are friendly. Cash or debit only.

A decent comfort food restaurant that’s been around for years This restaurant is offering authentic Chiu Chow cuisine, specialties includes various seafood dishes in rice and rice noodles, marinated duck and other meats, and dumplings wrapped in rice papers. The quality is solid, lots of varieties, competitively priced, this is your neighborhood diner type restaurant. We came just after opening, there were plenty of on site parking spots available. Recommend.

I liked how the restaurant looks & feels. It is quite busy with a lot of students coming in daily. Service is alright, staff is nice. I guess I was hungry so I got a lot of food that day. I have to say, I don’t like how the soup tastes. It’s just my personal opinion, I think it was too oily for my liking. The plum juice is something I liked. BBQ is not bad. There are better options out there in term of food quality. Their service and store decoration are good.

I love this place, their service is always good. The food is so addicting, it’s always so good. I didn’t like their tomato broth but their spicy and sour is my fave. Their bbq skewers are very flavourful and good.

Food is fresh and really tasty. However you may find yourself really thirsty after a meal of very rich flavors for the stir fry noodles and dumplings/buns filling. Perhaps they have added msg for the good taste. Still pretty good, recommend to try for yourself. If it didn't make me tired and thirsty I'd give them a 5 star

Very cosy and well serviced dining room which can accommodate 2,4 or large groups. You have a lot to choose from and the dishes I ordered all taste great and the service portion is generous. Will definitely come back with family and friends.

Walking in, the place was bright and the girl who took my order was very patient and polite. I came in and ordered 7 rice dogs. The mozzarella one is a classic. Anything with covered potatoes (regular/sweet) are a must! The ramen covered one is a good one to try as well for that extra crunchy texture. All of the ones I had were crispy and crunchy on the outside yet soft and savoury on the inside. You get to choose your own sauces and powder coating as well. Such a delicious Korean street/comfort food that you can never go wrong with!

🌭The Korean street food corn dog never disappoints! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The cheese pull is always satisfying, and it’s the ultimate comfort snack. 🤤🤤 Definitely a must-try if you’re in the mood for something delicious! 🌟 #StoriesByAnn 🎀

Very impressed with the quality and variety of dishes offered at this restaurant! Down to earth, hearty, authentic Cantonese comfort food, feels like grandma’s kitchen. Staff were very friendly too, we came within 1 hour of closing, and didn’t feel rushed to pick our items. One thing to note, the restaurant only takes cash, which is not unusual among small businesses, but you can email money transfer to the restaurant if you don’t carry cash, that’s what we did. Highly recommend! This small business is way better than Congee Queen!

This restaurant has been here for many years. Good congee/rice/noodle restaurant at affordable prices and reasonable portions. They are usually busy, so expect a short wait for a table during lunch times. Restaurant isn't that large, so seating can feel a little cramped. Servers are polite.

满江红 Red Lotus Restaurant 0

Red Lotus is an old favourite in the plaza filled with great restaurants. From the countless times we ordered take outs during the Pandemic, to late night cravings, this restaurant is a solid choice. Sweet soy chicken is a favourite dish. The chicken pieces take some time to dissect with the bones included, along with chestnut pieces to round up the dish. Spicy fried chicken is also a great, solid Szechuan dish, if you can avoid the mala peppers. In the last trip we also tried the eggplant dish. It was so flavourful, great with steamed rice. The sliced pancake is also an amazing and unique alternative noodle dish if you're craving for that. You order your food from your phone using QR code. Many servers do not speak English well. I had no issue having my water filled, but flagging for service might be difficult during busy times.

The fish with pickled vegetable stew 酸菜鱼 is delicious! The cold noodles were also amazing.

decent food for the price. note that they don’t accept credit cards. i forgot so paid by e-transfer. their staff were nice and friendly, I definitely recommend this place.

I had a quick lunch here on weekday. It was quiet and not many customers. Service is normal. Only the table is wood and will make any noise when food is brought on it. There is no condiments on the table even though I don't need it. There are many choices on the menu and priced fair. (see my photo) I had the rice noodle with stewed beef and tendon that was not the traditional spicy style, rather a clear broth style that I am much preferred. The tendons were just perfect texture. There is enough amount of beef and tendon for me (photo is taken half way eating) but not enough vegetables.

We have had excellent dine in and take out experiences! We were eferred to this restaurant by our close friends who highly recommended their 乾炒牛河 which would rank among the very best here in Mississauga! They have an extensive menu with every dish you can imagine and every single one that we have ordered has been cooked to absolute PERFECTION! We are slowly making our way through the menu! One of our favourite dishes recently was their signature steamed fish. We asked if their fish was fresh and they went out and bought one at the grocery store next door and brought it back to prepare for us! It doesn't get any fresher than that! LOL! Incredible lunch today of noodles and baked rice but the star of the show was definitely the deep fried salted egg bitter melon! This it's probably the best that we have ever had. Even though the dish was sitting out for a good 20 minutes it stayed crispy and was perfectly seasoned. They did not skimp on the salted egg! I just found out this morning that these guys also do breakfast and it was awesome! I ordered an XO sauce 豬腸粉 and a luncheon meat, sunny side up egg and buttered toast combo. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The rice rolls were served piping hot with lots of wok hei!! My new favorite HK style breakfast spot in Mississauga! 😋 First time coming here to do afternoon tea and they have an extensive menu has pretty much everything under $10 and comes with a drink. The beef brisket soup noldle was referenced standard. Silky soft noodles and tender brisket. Shredded pork with pickled vegetable soup vermicelli was also on point. Both of these dishes came with soy milk to wash it all down. Delicious and great value for that afternoon pick me up you are looking for! Customer service as always is fast and friendly! Always happy to welcome you back to their restaurant!

***Update Feb 2025*** After the change in ownership and renovations a while back. I found myself coming back here many times. I call this restaurant a “Triple Threat” because I can come here to satisfy my breakfast, lunch and dinner cravings. This is a rarity. The food is way better than before in my opinion and the service here has always been friendly and efficient. There are not many classic HK cafe restaurants in Mississauga ever since the old Hollywood Cafe closed down many years ago in the same plaza. So I really enjoy their dishes with a HK milk tea both cold and hot, or a yin yang coffee etc. The prices and the portions are very reasonable and I cannot ask for anything more because they satisfy my cravings. I like to support our local businesses and the hardworking owners 👍. They get 5 stars 🌟 from me 😇. Wow. This location has been around for years and years. Therefore, they have plenty of loyal and return customers. They were so popular for their classic HK breakfast with a newspaper before the pandemic. So the mornings can be busy there. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ I have never had an issue with their service. It has always been efficient and effective whether I call to order on the phone or in person. During these times now, they prefer you to call or order online before arriving in person. So COVID protocols are in effect here. The food is what I or anyone should expect at these prices. Their portions and apparent freshness are a bit below other restaurants. However, I still cannot complain about the taste or flavour. I like their food. And they do offer such a wide variety of dishes. And they are able to cook them quickly whenever you want it. So all in all, I am happy with their food experience in general. And I have returned many times over the past two decades. This is a double right down the left field gap !!! Try it yourselves and let us know what your thoughts are.

Kung Fu Duck mississauga 0

The food smelled gamey and doesn’t matter if you ordered the duck tongue or the pig intestines and stomach. It was all flavoured the same a spicy and Chinese herb forward scent. The intestines wasn’t cleaned very well so had an unpleasant smell. The duck wings were not intact and the bone was shattered throughout the meat. The portions were small but thankfully they were why they were because no one in the family enjoyed more than just one bite. What a waste of $78.

The whole bag of duck head was like this. I can see the blood and it’s definitely undercooked. The server should notice this immediately when he cut them in half, but he served anyway. The seaweed was overcooked, or set on shelf for a very long time. Louts taste a lit sour which it’s not a normal taste.
