Flower Drum Restaurant
I was pleasantly surprised by my meal at Flower Drum! I’ve driven past this place almost daily but never stopped in until a friend recommended it. I usually go for General Tso’s Chicken, but after reading some reviews, I decided to try the Flower Drum Chicken Dinner Special—and I’m so glad I did. The portion size was impressive! For $12.99, I got a generous serving of chicken, rice, broccoli, and an egg roll. I’ve ordered specials from other places before, and it always feels like you’re getting less food for the lower price, but that wasn’t the case here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be recommending Flower Drum to others. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!
Ordered my food off of uber eats, food came warm. Unfortunately there is absolutely NO flavor to my food at all. I got garlic chicken, ham fried rice, egg rolls And Beef lo mein. Portions were good and the egg rolls were crispy other then that, I won't be ordering again! It's unfortunate because I used to order from them often, how is it possible for food to have no flavor at all? I had to put tons of soy sauce on my food to really semi enjoy it. I did 2 stars bc the food was warm and good portion sizes.
Little Asia
Based on the reviews and authentic Szechuan, I decided to stop and try this place. I asked for suggestion for something with chicken, a lot of vegetables, and spicy. They recommended the spicy chicken from their house specialties section and added a few more vegetables to it for me. I asked for extra spicy, then showed a photo of the hot peppers I grow so they would hopefully not dial it back since I am not Asian. The dish was delicious and the portion was huge! I will definitely be coming back. Service was extremely friendly too.
Basic American-style Chinese food restaurant owned by a friendly family. Can't go wrong here. We grabbed a few different dishes and they were all good.
China House
I initially left a 5-star review for China House to get free chicken fried rice, but I’ve since deleted it and will never return. The atmosphere is dirty, it smells bad, and the customer service is consistently rude. On my last visit, I ordered chicken fried rice over the phone before mentioning my review. When I picked it up, they insisted I pay for the rice I had already ordered and wait for a “free” batch instead. I refused, explaining I didn’t have time to wait, so they let me take the original rice with a small charge for adding egg. I’m glad I didn’t pay the full price because the rice was disgusting, it had eggshells, and I even found something I couldn’t identify that grossed me out. I’ve also had their free rice in the past, and it was hard, smelly, and inedible, making me suspect they use a lower-quality batch for the free orders. I’ve given this place too many chances, but between the poor food quality, dirty environment, and bad service, I’m done. I don’t trust them at all.
I ordered 40 plus minutes before arriving and my food still wasn’t done when I got there but they kept calling my phone. Only thing that was decent was the egg rolls. I order sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. Idk what sauce they use for the noodles but I didn't like it . It was too many soggy vegetables and the chicken was over cooked. It was too crunchy. I don’t care for white rice so I didn’t eat it. First time eating here and I don’t think I’ll be back
