Dragon China
Good Chinese takeout in Johnstown We got the General Tso's combo and the shrimp with veggies combo, both with pork fried rice. It was an easy tasty dinner — thanks
Had the pepper steak with shrimp fried rice. Cook to perfection. Great taste. Good food. Fast and friendly service.
Dragon Village
Lunch special, a ton of food and great service!
- Chinese food was really good. Everything seemed fresh and well made. My wonton soup was really good and the noodles I got was good as well. - Staff were friendly and service was quick. - Prices normal for the area. - Plenty of parking and have a few reserved spots. - Place was clean and organized. - Overall a good experience at this location.
Dragon Village
Good place to eat for Asian cuisine. Place is clean and owners are very friendly. The food is good as well.
as a chinese american alum from denison, this place was #my second home. so hear me out. precovid (2016-2019 dine-in, take out review) i think this is probably the best you can get in a college town of thats so white and so far away from everything. you gotta be strategic when ordering because i've been here so many times, so many. yet i haven't tried the whole menu. chinese cuisine isn't general tso, "lo-mein", or crab rangoon. so getting that for myself is an insult to my chinese roots. but i give dragon village props because they are AGAIN tailoring to another ethnicity that has a very warp perception of chinese food. i recommend the egg and shrimp, mapo tofu, scallion beef, FRIED DUMPLINGS; not boiled, with the sauce on the side, and their yang chow fried rice. their beef and CHINESE broccoli is also really good. my recommendations are probably the safest and most delicious food on the menu/"secret not so secret menu" FOR more experienced mouths. i want to come back when i'm back in ohio to give them some love and anything for nostalgia. pictures are from 2016-2019.
Lucky Bamboo Chinese Restaurant
Lucky Bamboo is one of our favorite places
I met my mother here for a little mother daughter date. I hadn’t been here in a long time because I moved away. The food is just as good as I remembered. The prices are so reasonable too. We both got sweet and sour chicken. Great lunch portions! It was more than enough food. I got egg drop soup but they have a really good hot and sour soup and wonton soup as well. Our waiter was fast and came back to refill drinks. The food came out very fresh and timely. I’m sure they are used to people having to get back to work. They have plenty of parking and seating for a couple or large parties. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
East West Restaurant
We hadn’t been here in years and I must say it’s improved from the last time. The staff were friendly and attentive. There wasn’t many customers here but, they seem to do a lot of carry out orders. The have a big selection on the menu. They offer more traditional American food as well as vegetarian too. We had Hunan shrimp and sweet and sour chicken. Both were good. The portions are big and the Hunan shrimp was packed with shrimp! We enjoyed the crab Rangoon as well. They have a nice huge fully stocked bar and two dining rooms. The restaurant was clean and open so you didn’t feel cramped at all. They have tables and booths too.
I had been past East West many times but never tried it until recently. I would recommend the Sichuan beef. The vegetables were crisp and delicious and the beef was very tasty (although I would have preferred a bit more heat). My wife ordered General Tso's and it was good but not great. We would return to try some other dishes based on our experience.
Hunan Garden 湖南园
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Great service and the tastiest Chinese food in Licking County. I have to say their hot & sour soup is the best I've had! It's not slimey and has so much taste. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Perfect service. Perfect food. Perfect Chinese food. Better than any other restaurant in the area. 100⭐️
Mark Pi's Express
Our favorite!! We love the Hunan chicken with fried rice. Great portions! It fills my fiancé up and that’s saying a lot lol. My fiancé always gets their spring rolls and me always the crab Rangoon. They’ve never disappointed us and we crave it almost every weekend lol!
The one in Whitehall closed years ago so I’ve really really missed their food. The others in Columbus just aren’t as good as the closed one. Hebron was great though. Tastes just the way I remembered it. Serving sizes were smaller for sure but nowadays that’s to be expected I suppose. Will definitely visit again whenever I’m in the area.
Yummy Yummy
The Chicken is not Chicken. Idk what it is but just look at the pictures. I took one bite and threw it away. Dragon Village is superior
We had lunch there and the food was pretty much what you get anywhere. We ordered sesame chicken and Hunan shrimp. It was good but nothing stood out from anywhere else we have been. If you're looking for atmosphere with your meal this isn't the place to come. Very plain. The main complaint I have is that the Chinese are rude people when they interrupt your conversation to clear away your empty plates from directly in front of you like there is a shortage of plates in the restaurant, when the place is practically empty. They could wait 5 minutes till you leave. Totally RUDE!! But to be perfectly fair, this happens in other Chinese restaurants also. We just happened to be in the area but will probably eat Chinese in Newark where we live.
Dragon Village of Buckeye Lake
A nice place but not nice enough to stay to eat in. The guys at the next table were obnoxiously loud. People coming and going constantly. The food was good but nothing my husband and I would go back again for.
Uhhuh Definitely very good food Treat yourself and you family and friends to this wonderful place to eat with pleasure
Super Wok
They are always nice when you pick up your order BUT the food has changed. We have ordered here for several years. The last two times it has been inedible. The chicken for the sweet and sour chicken is horrible. I enjoyed my egg roll but the entire meal went in the trash along with my husband's.
Food had no flavor. I ordered spicy food and it was bland. Attentive staff. Atmosphere was run down looked like it could use a good cleaning.
Panda Express
What is this Panda? This place is definitely going downhill! Ordered almost $50 worth of food from uber eats and get a large chow mein and it’s filled with the fried veggies and legit 10 noodles throughout. Can’t trust places like this unless you’re physically in their face to see what they are putting in your containers! Instead of getting my money or food replaced I’m leaving this review, dont eat from this place, you are much better off eating somewhere WORTH your money!!
There needs to be one Manager on duty at all times that knows what they are doing. Why have all these kids if you don't have a Manager to keep them going in the right direction. It's slow I wanted in line for 20 minutes because they are running low on food that IN THE BOWLS and ready to serve
Golden Wok
I don't think I have had such a dirty dining experience in a while. The entire place needs cleaned from top to bottom. The top of the hot tea had so much grease on top, I could chop it off with my nail. The divider beside us was sprayed with food. The condiment packet holder on the table had dried food on it as well. The men's bathroom sink was so filthy my husband said I should use the restroom at our next destination. I agree with another reviewer - we paid .50 cents extra for the fried rice which tasted like it was prepared in a burnt pan. I returned the Chicken Pad Thai which was bland and only had noodles, chicken and bean sprouts. The hubs got the General Tso's chicken, he had a couple of fatty pieces, the flavor was okay. I wouldn't order it again. We wouldn't recommend this for dine in or take out. The staff seemed a little lackluster when I sent it back, she apologized for it, saying ours is slightly different- that is an understatement, being that it literally is lacking nuts, egg, spices, lime, scallions and cilantro: missing one item would be slight, this is totally different. They took off the pad Thai but added soup that we didn't order so we had to send the check back for a correction. They did correct the check. I would not recommend this establishment.
This restaurant has delicious food. Take out is much better since the dining area is not updated and probably 30 years old. Also, if you dine inside, the menu is not updated either. There are far more choices available.
