Lovely small locally owned restaurant. The egg rolls were large and delicious for less than $2 a piece. A great deal and must order. I had wonton soup which was also a generous portion with large wontons. Very tasty soup! At this point I was so full I knew I wouldn't finish my lunch order beef lo mein. The Lo Mein was a large plate with noodles cooked perfectly. I would like to have had more beef in the dish but this is a small issue and not a deal breaker. I had hot tea to drink. Comes only by the cup and no tea pot. But they refill your cup constantly so mine was never empty. Enjoyed a conversation with the owners and was very pleased with my lunch.

This was, undoubtedly, the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Truthfully, it's some of the hands down worst food in general that I've ever had. My family moved to the area last year and we've been trying new places just to get a grasp on the local food scene. We've found a few good spots, but this place is far from one of them. Nothing we ordered was good. This is not hyperbole, top to bottom the meal was a zero star experience. Their "tsols" chicken (General Tsos) does use okay chicken as it's base, but the sauce is 100% cheap bottled/canned sweet and sour sauce with what tastes like Louisiana hot sauce or straight cayenne mixed into it. The Egg Drop and Wonton Soups were sweeter than some candy, which is wild. I've never had a sweet soup before now, and it was vile. The wontons are stuffed with ground beef. It's literally ground beef. Never before have I seen that used as a wonton filling. Somehow, even though it was in a soup, the ground beef was still dry and spongey. The steamed dumplings were also very sweet, and the consistency of the meat and other filling was grainy. The crab rangoons were filled with seemingly unflavored cream cheese that was weirdly chunky and dry, not smooth like it should be. The Sesame Seed Chicken not only had zero sesame seeds in or on it, but the sauce seemed to be brown gravy with some of the bottled/canned sweet and sour sauce barely mixed in. The two sauce colors were visibly distinct, and it tasted like cherry cough medicine. The fried rice was so dry to the point of tasting stale. The lo mein noodles were entirely unseasoned, overcooked (ie, gummy and swollen), and, once again, weirdly sweet. The egg rolls, advertised as "beef and peanut butter", had neither of those things in it. They were vegetarian. The ONLY good things in our order were the hot mustard packets, soy sauce packets, and napkins. At least we'll have those on hand to use for other meals and messes. We didn't eat probably 95% of our food. Our dinner for five people came to $71 before tip. It took over half an hour longer than they told us for them to finish our order. Done by 5:05pm? More like 5:38pm. We stood in the lobby for around 45 minutes total, having entered the shop slightly early. We had been sitting in our car outside waiting for the food because they said it would only take 20 to 25 minutes, which turned out to actually be a whisper shy of an hour. To reiterate, this was the absolute worst take out experience of my life. If you're considering eating here, make sure you've got a sweet tooth, because regardless of what you order, the first ingredient seems to be sugar. If it were possible to give negative stars for food quality as part of this review, I'd go as low as it allowed me. I tried contacting them about a refund but they were having trouble understanding what I was saying, and vice versa. I finally just had to give up. Avoid this place, friends. You're better off skipping a meal.

Was at a track meet at ONU ... Stopped in here for a quick beer and a little food. Glad we did!! Beer was ice cold, prices were very reasonable, the 2 appetizers were both delicious and our server at the bar was very friendly!! His name was Caleb. Next time we're back on Ada, we will for sure stop in here again. Highly recommend!!

We stop in every year, we have our taxes done at ONU by the students. They do a fantastic job! We love everything about Tavern 101! Always great food and a pleasant experience ! Staff was busy but very friendly and on top of giving excellent service. We will be back for sure!

UPDATE ON MENU! I know prices have gone up but prices are almost 100% higher than what's in the other pictures! These are NY prices! Food is good. We ordered 4 things and it was good. We all liked it. The atmosphere... It's a regular Chinese food place. What atmosphere?! Lol it Service was fine. Again it's a Chinese food spot. You come here for one thing alone. Good food.

We are kind of picky about Chinese places, but this place surprised us. It was quite pricey. One egg roll is a little over $2, but it was very tasty regardless. They package everything very well and it was done in a good time frame. Overall pretty good experience!

Great food! Great friendly service. GREAT prices. The biscuits, gravy and taters are unbeatable. But everything else is good as well.

Several state and U.S. highways angle into Kenton like bicycle wheel spokes. On the main east-west drag of Highway 309 just west of downtown Kenton is a small diner that’s often surrounded by cars. I’ve passed by many times and never stopped till now. If you want a taste of bygone days and a slice of Americana, diners like this (many which are long gone) are refreshing to stop at. No chain restaurant can come close. I enjoy how people are addressed by name and new customers are treated just as attentively as the regulars. If you’re hungry, you’ll be met with loaded plates. Portions are large. There is also good flavor in the food (nuthin is worse than a big helping of bland food). The place can be packed (there are limited options in the area, but the downtown is undergoing a revamping). The staff, food, and warm ambiance make plentiful reasons to stop in.

The food is homemade and you can taste the difference it’s so hard in today’s world to find authentic Italian. Everything we had was good from the chicken parm to the lasagna, cheese ravioli, pizza and calzones nothing was bad. You gotta finish off your meal with. Dessert they were also good. Compliments to the chef and the front of house you made our visit an enjoyable one. I recommend everyone try this place out and fall back in love with real Italian food.

The most amazing Antipasto Salad EVER!! Even my “meat and tater” hubby will order it, we literally get 2 meals of it. There is nothing at Viva Maria’s that isn’t awesome though. I can literally order a child’s spaghetti and not finish it because I’m stuffed. The BEST Italian food outside of Italy ❤️ And don’t forget the cannoli!

I didn't get any food but my group said they liked the fries.

My first time there I asked for a mixed rum and coke and got two drinks and they made me pay upfront. I felt really uncomfortable I'll never go back.

We were in town for the Wilson Football festival. Visited the factory, saw the giant football drop. We had snacks at John & Toni's. They were fried and delicious! We had one empty log but that'll happen. The server was great! There were a dozen or so of us and she did a wonderful job!

I really hate to leave this kind of review. They are so kind and the service is good. We've tried a few local Mexican places and those are far superior in taste. We ordered three different plates. The best thing was a hard taco and that was good only because I took some of the sauce for the state platter that we ordered. The beat didn't taste, chew noe look like beef. Shave as the atmosphere was great at the services pretty good. It's the closest Mexican place but we're going to travel farther next time we want this kind of food.

Ordered the Taco de Carne asada with just cilantro, onion and salsa picante. Food was perfect and rivals street tacos in the ghetto. Service was professional and fast too! Highly recommend

What a wonderful surprise. The food was fantastic. The service is great, and the salsa outstanding. They have an extensive menu for adults and children. Lots of parking. Definitely will be coming back.

First time eating here....the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I was surprised how fast our food came. It was a good value...loved the chips and salsa! I will definitely go back.

So grateful to have yall as an option in Kenton! Had lunch with my mom and everything was fresh and delicious 🤤 everyone was kind and polite. Lots of choices in the buffet area and you can even order anything off their menu if you don’t want the buffet. I recommend going around the time they open. Everything was guaranteed fresh.

First time I went the biscuits were soft I went when it was dark and more people tho. Second time was today said it was $11.50 charged us $12.80🤦‍♀️ plus this biscuits were really hard. Plus i my parents went one day during the day and they where hard too. Besides that the food is so good! Only go at dark the food seems to be more fresh especially when there's more people in the restaurant.

They now use door dash for delivery. And when DD cancels the order, your delivery gets "lost" or "forgot".. it's happened 3 out of the last 5 times now. Will not order from again. Most recently ordered the food at 8:16pm. Did not receive it until 3 phone calls were made and 10:35pm arrived.

This pizza hut location has basically stolen from me at this point. Ordered from this location on 11/17.. that's 2 weeks ago. Places the order online.. the be picked up at 12:30. I had my parents pick up the order. When they got there, they were told that they didn't have an order for my name or phone number or an order placed for 12:30. They called me... And we verified the location.. time and order. All was correct on my side. Order was paid for with a card online. They continued to tell us that they couldn't do anything about it.. and that there was no number we could contact for either get a refund or credit. I found a number myself and have had multiple conversations with people that end with "someone will contact you within 1-3 days". No one has still to this date. Out nearly $50 because of an issue on their part. Some of the worst customer service I've had in my life... In store AND online. It's all such a shame too because myself and my family have been coming here since I was a child.. Pizza Hut will never get my business again.
