Hunan By the Falls
Our party of four was very impressed with the restaurant from the moment we walked in until we walked out with our bag of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming with excellent service. The food, needless to say, was unique and delicious. We had the chicken wrap appetizer, beef rib appetizer, tangerine duck, crisp beef, egg plant with noodle and shrimp with walnuts. The rice and tea was plentiful. We can't wait to come back. A five star experience.
This is a lovely little restaurant with excellent food, a cozy yet modern atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. This was my first time, here, and we will definitely return! From the moment I opened the door, I knew I would leave happy -- we were greeted with big smiles and the fragrance of ginger. YUM! Had the pot stickers, crispy ginger lamb, curried rice noodles, General Tzo's Chicken, and something like Happy Family. Everything was great, and the service was excellent. THANK YOU.
Hunan Chester
Found a small restaurant in Chesterland Ohio that is Chinese cuisine. Most Chinese restaurants are typical, but this was a cut above with more quality products. Chicken is tender and better. Better vegetables and fried rice has quality to it. Better overall than other Chinese restaurants. In the area? Try it out.
Worst General Tso's chicken I've ever had. Didn't even look like chicken. The workers are nice, but the food is gross.
Wah Sun
I ordered basil chicken, crab rangoons, & chicken spring rolls. O.m.G! Everything is fantastic! This place will be my go to from now on when in the area. Thai Basil is delicious and you should definitely try it! The sweet & sour sauce was amazing too.... Not just the standard red sauce. 10/10 would recommend!
Great little Cantonese place currently serving carry out only food. Great lunch specials .
Cheng's China House
I ordered take-out so can’t comment on the atmosphere. But I was very disappointed in my meal. The chicken was slimy and had no flavor. I ended up eating just a bit of the fried rice and the egg roll and threw the rest away. The vegetables looked like long strips of kale & long chunks of onion. I will never order food from there again.
-- DO NOT GO HERE -- Do yourself a favor, go to a different place. First things first, the food is incredibly overpriced for the small portion you get, the food is definitely processed food that was not cooked right, and all 3 members of my family got food poisoning from their food. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is gross and the little kid working the front didn't ask anything, just asked for my name for the food and then just stuck his hand out, not asking if I want sauces, or anything of that nature. Overall one of the worst expireances for getting food. I can't emphasize enough how bad the food is, do not go here!
Yangtze Chinese Restaurant
AWFUL if could give a zero star I would! To start we ordered fried dumplings which were gross and the crab Rangoon, the sauce was super watery. The wonton soup had no flavor and was watery. I ordered the pineapple shrimp which was absolutely disgusting the fried rice was not even good. We ended up leaving without eating our food. Also, you get five ice cubes in your water which was disgusting. All around just a bad experience. When the server did come she didn’t clear any plates. That should not have been a surprise when I walked in she was cleaning the table next to us but never wiped it down and left rice all over it. Pictured is the pineapple shrimp.
Very satisfying Chinese restaurant on the square in Chardon. For years this has been the best Chinese food in Chardon. A warm, clean space with a large window facing the square. Yangtze has a full menu of well done dishes at fair prices.
Tai-Pan
Although an hour away I’ve thought to head back to Middlefield just for another delicious meal at Tai-Pan! The ambiance is clean, calm, staff very friendly and helpful, prices are great, food was fantastic! Wishing I had ordered the Wongtong soup as after words I heard it’s the best. Egg drop soup I usually don’t like yet theirs was so good as was everything spring roll and vegetable delete
Since the new owners took over the food quality has gone down so far and prices have gone so high it's RIDICULOUS. There is NO EXCUSE to charge what they do for such poor quality food. Also, when you call to place a carry out order it sounds like they've outsourced order taking to a call center, and it's damned near IMPOSSIBLE to understand one word of what they're saying, and THAT is absolutely INFURIATING. When you go inside the first thing you notice is the fish tank that is FILTHY, and there's DUST EVERYWHERE. The service is very friendly and courteous but, here again, almost impossible to understand what they're saying. I used to love the food here but it's SO DIFFERENT that it's hard to believe. Honestly, you're far better off skipping this place unless you have an overwhelming Jonesing for Chinese. You get the impression that you're paying a 5 star price for 1 star food. The cost is severely disproportionate to the food's "quality". It's really sad how far down this place has gone and how dirty it is inside
