Typically, I’m not a fan of Asian cuisine, but Nong’s Hunan Express changed my mind with their exceptional fried rice. This dish alone was enough to impress with its perfect blend of flavors and textures, making every bite memorable. The menu, as captured in the photos, offers a variety of traditional and modern dishes that seem inviting, even to someone with a cautious palate like mine. The restaurant displays its offerings on a comprehensive menu that includes everything from Lo Mein Noodles to Chef Specials, each described in detail, providing a clear picture of what to expect. The interior of Nong’s features charming decorations like the Maneki-neko cats, which add a touch of cultural authenticity and warmth to the dining experience. These iconic figurines are not just decor but are believed to bring good luck, enhancing the welcoming ambiance. Moreover, the vibrant pictures of the food displayed over the counter promise delicious meals and seem to validate the quality and appeal of their dishes. Whether you’re a fan of Asian food or an occasional adventurer like myself, Nong’s Hunan Express seems to have something to delight various tastes. Ordered through Door Dash, 1st time ordering from here everything was well balanced portion size to price. egg rolls a little pricey but better than average. very disappointed with the flavor of the Wonton Soup broth, but the wontons in it tasted very good. the Scallop with Hot Garlic Sauce and the 8 Treasure Chicken 🌶 had great flavor but not that spicy. Fried chicken wing really great flavor and a great crunch! honey Honey Chicken, Coconut chicken we got the extra meat for $2.00 and not disappointed.

Beware this restaurant. This was my first time trying this place out and disappointed. I pointed and ordered the number 34 and my husband ordered A.9. The girl that took our order never handed us the check, so I went up to pay for the food. She said it was $30.81. I proceeded to pay but I thought it was a little more than expected. I looked over the menu because the amount wasn’t adding up. I asked her about the price and she said that the #34 wasn’t on their menu and that there was only one size which was the #313. She then proceeded to print out the check after I paid. I told her that I didn’t order that number and she said sorry they forgot to mark it out on their menu. I asked her why she didn’t tell me about they “ no longer go off of that number” and she said “im sorry, I was just busy”. The plate I was charged was almost $5 more than what I actually ordered. I think they purposely up charge people because they didn’t hand any of the other tables their check. We will not be back.

This is the LAST time I’m ever eating here. EVERY time I make a phone order I get told “ready in about 15 minutes” guess what? When you get there is when they start to make your food. Spent almost 35 mins waiting for food. NEVER AGAIN.

Great flavor! I got the Bean Curd and mixed vegetables with fried rice. I could taste the fresh ginger and garlic. Delicious! Very friendly lady at the front desk. And they have tons of lunch platters served all day! I will be back real soon. One of the better Chinese restaurants I've tried around here. My dog really approves of their cooking also! See photo. Check it out . . . you'll like it!
