Pak Grub
Amazing and tasty food was provided by the Pak Grub team. Reminded me of how food use to taste in Pakistan.
Grest service
Jiu Thai Asian Cafe
Very much authentic northwest Chinese cuisine: noodle specialties! And many more other dishes: most of them are marked as spicy, but chef can accommodate the mild or non-spicy request for most of them. Service is great, too!
This is such an inviting resturant with some really good food. They have a good variety of traditional and “Americanized” favorites. We ordered the Tiger tofu & the chicken pad Thai during lunch which came out quickly, pipping hot and delicious. Both dishes were so savory and all the ingredients were really fresh. The tofu was the crispiest tofu I’ve had in Columbus while still being smothered in that umami sauce. The service was excellent, they were very attentive. I definitely recommend going during lunch. Their specials were so well priced with very generous portions. I cannot wait to go back and get the hand pulled noodles that everyone raves about and piece of that amazing looking crepe cake!
Bamboo Thai Kitchen
This restaurant is wildly underrated… the consistency and flavor in unwavering. The portions are suitable and just right. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 10 years and there are a lot of really good, top quality Thai food options… and I would put Bamboo Thai right up there , with some of the west coasts best. I really hope locals continue to support this place as it really is a gem. There’s no dine in option currently but the food holds up as excellent take out. My go to dishes are… Pad See Ew, Tom Kha, Gen TSO (all a little spicy) and you must have a Thai Iced Tea. Also, the curry’s are really good too!
I have dined at Bamboo Thai Kitchen twice and have been very happy with both experiences. The restaurant somewhat small-ish and it is almost always full (which is a good sign!). Menu is pretty pared down but there is a good variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, and almost everything we ordered were prepared with care. Also if you order spicy it shall be SPICY but in a good, addictive spicy way. The curries have excellent, authentic taste. Papaya salad is also yum but it's prepared pretty authentically so it may have a funky smell to people who are not used to shrimp/fish paste. This is one of my top choices for Thai food in C-bus.
Chin huajiao 青花驕
Situated in a food court area attached to DaYou supermarket, this restaurant serves typical authentic Szechuan Chinese food. You have two options. Made to order food fresh or pre-made food for a bento to go if you're in a rush. We had the Chongqing Spicy chicken and it was fantastic. Very affordable with generous portions. It's also not only "take out" per se as there is ample space to sit in the food court to enjoy your meal.
I always love finding authentic food places that aren’t too Americanized. I’ve added this to the list of ones I will definitely return to. I got the Pickled Bullfrog with ginger and pepper. The portion was huge, I love the flavor and variety of ingredients. Also, the many dishes made with rattan pepper is a plus to me!
Buckeye Phở
My old go-to Vietnamese when I lived close to the OSU campus. Haven’t been here for awhile, but the Pho is still great! Ordered the signature Pho (combo beef) and the vegan Pho. Both very good. Plenty of beef, veggies, and noodles. Both broths were very flavorful. Reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service.
Decided to come in for a visit after one of my work colleagues (who is Vietnamese) recommended this spot. I'll say, I was not disappointed! This is either the 3rd or 4th Vietnamese restaurant I've tried in Columbus so far and I think I have to give it the best pho in Columbus (so far) award. But not by a huge margin! The pho broth is very comforting and clean. It is exactly what it should be. The meats and all the fixings are very good quality, which is what really gives this pho the edge. Might be the best Vietnamese meatballs I've ever had. The steak was more tender than I'm used to in pho (but to be fair, I think a lot of restaurants use cheaper cuts here). The tendon also had the appropriate consistency. The service was very friendly and attentive. I didn't come in at the busiest time of their week, which would be the true test of their service, but they were very friendly nevertheless. I asked a couple questions and for recommendations, and they were quick to offer and help guide you. They also checked in with me regularly to make sure I was enjoying it and if I needed anything else. The atmosphere was casual and clean. This isn't always the case for restaurants like this, unfortunately! I will definitely return to explore more of their menu!
Sun Tong Luck Asian Cuisine
Wow. So unassuming and so delicious. I have never seen noodles so delicate but not soggy and broth so light and flavorful. My partner ate his whole meal (tofu pad thai) despite continually saying, "This seriously my last bite." The hot chili oil is yummy and the tofu portion was generous. The food was fast and hot. The place is bare-bones, serves everything in styrofoam or paper plates-that's the only drawback. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
Delicious, amazing service, clean all things needed to make an amazing restaurant. I was looking for some delicious Orange chicken and well Infound it. This place did not disappoint infact is now a new favorite I will be returning. I met the owner, Tan, and I asked him for future reference if I wanted vegetables in my Orange chicken next time was that an option he said absolutely you just have to let them know for a small additional charge so I will be doing that. I loved how crispy the chicken was on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside with the delicious no msg sauce on the outside. It just made it a match in heaven. I also loved the pot stickers, but I tell you what the hot wonton soup was so comforting. If I'm sick, I'm ordering this because it's bound to make me feel better. To prove the hospitality as soon as I walked in even though I'm sure the kitchener was not cold I ordered to eat in the owner walked out and said it was chilly and turned up the heat so I wouldn't be cold he had no idea I was Yelp Elite. This shows he's cares about all guests and that's the kind of business I want to give my money to and you should also. This location is tucked into a shopping center with a Walmart in an area that's not perfect, but it's so worth it to come check this place out and eat in so the food is fresh!! Thanks, Tan, for the great food and service!!!! See you soon!! If this review helped you at all, please mark as helpful and follow me for more reviews around the world.
India Bistro & China House
This restaurant served both Chinese and Indian food. The chicken biryani was too spicy for me. Their signature Hakka noodle tasted legit with chili sauce. The Chinese dish was not authentic (more like American Chinese) but tasted great with a reasonable price and a large size. The service was friendly and the place was clean. They did not serve buffet any more sadly.
This place is great. One side of the menu is Indian and the other Chinese. I love the gobi Manchuria from the appetizers! It’s one of my favorites anywhere! The owner also had Curry N Grill which I loved and missed. Glad to have them back! They also own the market next door. Please eat here so we can keep them in business!
Yun Nan Crossing Bridge Noodle
A delicious experience in a really beautiful restaurant! We had to try the crossing bridge noodles, so I got seafood and my partner got mala with beef. Soup came out piping hot and ready to cook our food, and presentation was beautiful! Broth was deliciously fatty and rich. My partner enjoyed the beef a ton, I really enjoyed my toppings-- sweet pops of corn, chewy (but not overly) seafood, slight crunch from the mushrooms, great fish cakes, and I love quail eggs. The rice noodle texture was perfect, soaked up the broth deliciously, thick enough to not get soggy while eating. The atmosphere here is really pretty. I think the top 40s pop music isn't quite the vibe, but otherwise, it was impeccable. Service was very polite and attentive.
What an amazing experience! We came to the Plaza for Fun City and another restaurant, which ended up not being open. So we stumbled across this place, and I'm sure glad we did! The Mala Seafood Bridge Noodle Soup not only tasted great but was fun putting it all together. We got chicken rice bowls for the kids, and they loved them, and the portions were very generous. I will be telling friends about this place and will definitely be coming back!
KOSHI - Korean food & Sushi
We've tried few dishes and all were phenomenal
It was my first time going and it was AMAZING no joke! The level of spice it fantastic! Not bland AT ALL. You’re definitely in for a treat! I tried the Kimchi fried rice, the tteokbokki and the dal-jeong chicken! Definitely recommend and will be going back! The one thing I do wish they carried is the Korean lemonade pouches! That would definitely be a nice compliment to some dishes!
Meshikou Ramen
Really good ramen and appetizers. We went on a Friday night and it was super busy, the wait was 30 mind but once we sat down we got our food super quick. Usually I’m iffy about ramen because I have a texture when it comes to the chashu pork, but I did not have a problem with the food here.
The food and drinks were really good. The fried chicken and Gyoza was definitely worth the wait to get seated.
Awadh India Restaurant
Food was very flavorful! I usually get Tikka masala or saag but went a different route. I got a dish with peppers and onions with chicken, it was Chicken Malai I believe. It was so good. Wife got Tikka masala and it was great. Cheese Naan was good. Great food.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Awadh by Chef Anand, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The menu featured a thoughtful blend of traditional Indian flavors with a conscious nod to healthy eating. The palak paneer stood out for its lightness and clean flavors. It was clearly crafted with wellness in mind—creamy without being heavy, and the spinach base retained its freshness beautifully. The masala bhindi, lamb korma, and malai chicken were all equally impressive. The bhindi was perfectly spiced and not at all greasy—a rare achievement. The lamb korma was rich and tender, with a well-balanced spice profile, while the malai chicken was succulent, mildly spiced, and wonderfully comforting. A special mention to Archana, our server, who was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the meal. Her recommendations were spot on and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend Awadh for anyone looking for Indian cuisine that’s both indulgent and health-conscious. Will definitely be back!
Ocean Garden Kitchen
We were refered by friends who thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit. The restaurant is clean, bright & roomy. The menu is vast yet easy to read & follow. We had 2 appetizers & 2 entrees. We had Cha Siu Bao, I know them as Bao buns, and Soup Dumplings. My wife commented that the soup dumplings were just like the ones her mother made as a child. Her entree, Roast Duck Noodle Soup, was excellent. For comparison to other Chinese restaurants I had General Chicken. It was superior and not typical. The chicken was all uniform large pieces. The coating was thin and crisp. The sauce was very good. It was less thick & less sweet than most. A true sauce rather than a thick syrup. The uniform broccoli florets were cooked perfectly, firm not raw. Great dinner, very reasonably priced, lovely experience.
This was my 2nd time to this place. Once again the place was empty on friday afternoon. I was only person inside the restaurant. Took 10 mins for the ice water to arrive on my table. I ordered black pepper pork chop that come with white rice. They chopped all pork chop into tiny pieces. Each piece i got all contain big bone. I didnt get a single piece of pork chop that didnt have any bone in it. And awful amount of Green peppers. I definitely would not come back to this place again. Food taste medicore
