Shanghai Bistro
The food was pretty good, with great serving sizes! I ordered takeout and the food was hot and ready to go within 15 minutes, and they even threw in some dessert. When I went in to grab my food, I noticed it was very clean inside. I really enjoyed the Veggie Spring Rolls! My family all enjoyed what they had, too. My mom doesnt really like Chinese food, but she thinks the orange chicken was great! I'll definitely be ordering here again.
Some of the best fried rice I've ever tried. Not greasy and not too salty, and the oil wasn't overused. The sezchuan chicken was just the right level of spicy. The dish had lots of vegetables, and was a very good portion size (although perhaps a little light on the chicken). Overall very good, best Chinese in the area!
Timmy's Wok
I typed in Chinese food near me into Google. Timmy's came up and they had spareribs. The crab rangoon was sweet and cooked well. The spareribs were huge and the sauce was tasty. My main course was sesame shrimp. It was good as well. I have enough left overs for 3 more meals including my rice. I will visit again and would recommend to others I was starving so I forgot to take pics, my bad. Timmy's gets a Thumbs High! 👍🏾
This is a great place to grab delicious take out. The take out process is super easy. I did the order ahead online and just walked in, gave my name and paid. The lady who helped me was super nice and got everything together quickly. I had the Broccoli and Chicken ($11) the Sweat and Sour Chicken ($11), the Spring Roll ($4.75), the Crab Rangoon ($7.75), Shrimp Egg Roll ($1.95) and the Chicken Lo Mein ($7.95). Everything was great but my favorite was the Chicken Lo Mein and the Fried Rice that came with the Chicken and Broccoli! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!
Number 1 Kitchen
This was my first time trying food at this establishment, and I can truly say that I will never eat here again. I ordered the shrimp mei fun, and this was the worst meal I've ever had. First off, they gave me 90% pasta, maybe 8 shrimp, 8% vegetables and eggs, and 2% sauce. This was dry, tasteless, and cold. I had to remove paste just to get to the shrimp and vegetables. The only pleasure i had was my egg roll. I paid over $16 for a total disappointment. Please think twice before buying food here.
Always fast, always good, the portions are great for the price and the food always seems fresher than other Chinese restaurants I've been to. I always order online and pick up but they do have a few dine in seats if needed. Not the kind of place you'd take a family or a date on to dine in (you could but it doesn't seem to present itself as a restaurant like that) but you could easily have a meal there. A reliable regular in our ordering dinner rotation.
A Chinese Take Out
I’ve been ordering take out from here since they opened and I’ve never had a bad meal!! The price is reasonable and the food is great!! The service is excellent and I am always greeted with a smile!
The steamed dumplings were outstanding and bursting with flavor. I had mei fun noodles with beef. I struggled to find flavor, but once I added a dash of psycho soy, I enjoyed it. He had spicy BBQ beef or something. He enjoyed it. I struggled to find the flavor profile. Portions are lofty and prices extremely reasonable. Definitely a filling meal.
China House
The food is solid and affordable, and service is quick. It's not gourmet, but it doesn’t need to be. It's just good, low-price Chinese comfort food. If that's what you want, I definitely recommend giving China House a try. I've had takeout twice now, and I can say that every time it has been satisfactory. The food is always hot and tasty. So far, I've only had the General Tso's chicken combination platter, a $10 meal. It comes with a sizeable portion of chicken, broccoli, and pork fried rice, as well as an egg roll, a fortune cookie, and several sauce packets. Each time the food was ready when I arrived. Excellent value for the money. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal in terms of amount of food for what you're paying.
You want great food and fast service. Come here. My new favorite Chinese place. And I'm sad to say this only because china wok in Amelia oh was my favorite. This place beat them hands down
Dragon City
Food was hot and fresh and fast. Delicious and if the place bigger I think there may be more people eating there instead of take out. A lot and I mean a lot of people came and took take out food so they must be doing something right. This is our third time there. All eat in, loved it.
The reason for two stars is because of the taste of the food. Once I walked in I kind of figured I made a mistake. If you are desiring authentic Chinese food, this is not the place for that. Although it looks very good it lacks in taste. It doesn't taste anything like Chinese food at all. It has a totally different taste that I can't really describe but this is my first and last time here.
Golden Chen
Would give zero stars if possible. Very disappointed. Have yet to have a decent Chinese experience in Cincinnati. (Moved here 6 months ago) I’ve now given up hope. I did a bunch of research reading reviews and trying to find a decent Chinese place. Golden Chen was highly recommended. Was very excited to try it today. Called in and placed order for pickup. Got there, people were nice and place looked clean. I was optimistic. Got home and went to put my food on a plate and found a giant black hair. I was disgusted and threw it away. Also, I asked for no mushrooms and there were a lot of large mushroom pieces. My boyfriend ate the fried rice and one of the spring rolls. Fried rice was alright and spring roll was not good. When he called to complain about the hair in the mixed veggies, he was told “sorry for the mix up” THE MIX UP?!?! We asked for a refund and were told only the mixed veggies can be refunded. They refunded cc and charged $12. Will not be eating any more Chinese in Ohio. This was the last straw.
Normally the flavor is very nice but the order I received on 11/15/23 had close to no flavor, combination lo mein also VERY LOW on the meats, and missed the egg rolls. The kitchen did not even smell “like Chinese” when my sister came by! Again, normally it is on point, maybe there is a new chef or they “forgot” . Good size portions but we had to flavor it up. It tastes like water down seasoning when it arrived. It was not an easy fix but we were hungry as we are heading out and wanted to eat! Ordered via Uber Eats. It was hot and delivered with care. I did get a credit from Uber for the egg roll.
China Wok
A pretty solid choice for consistent food. I've been going here for 6+ years and I've never had a bad expierence.
They have the best Chinese food in Amelia, hands down! I personally would recommend the Bean Curd home style, but nothing you get there will let you down. They're fast, efficient, and amazing cooks!
Peking House
This place deserves 5 stars it’s been hell finding even a decent Chinese restaurant but it’s amazing everything was fresh and not overcooked.
My family loves to grab takeout from here. Our online orders are always quick to be ready and accurate. Never had an issue here, food is consistent and exactly as expected. I love that they have a plain fried rice option (no vegetables, bean sprouts, etc) for my husband who is allergic to some ingredients in the regular fried rice.
China Town Buffet
Sunday evening 6:30p.m. The frog legs are the best they have ever been, crunchy outside, soft and juicy inside. The salad bar is outstanding. Everything is hot and fresh. Very clean and service was great. The roast melts in your mouth. I gotta go, they just put more frog legs out.
It's hard to find a buffet where they do it right the chicken on a stick was perfect the crispy chicken was loaded with excellent flavor these folks make the food perfect I highly recommend this location
King Buffet
I literally threw up. Read the ending. Paid $62 for 2 adults and 2 toddlers, there wasn’t much food out and even the rice was cold. I’ve been here several times before but this time I can say I would never go back. All the tables were sticky, at least the 4 tables we tried sitting at before picking the less sticky one. Me having to ask if they are going to make more of this or that isn’t ideal. It’s not like we showed up 30 minutes before they closed. The stuff I normally eat for instance chicken and broccoli, in the pan there was only maybe one portion in it and seemed like it sat there for a while. My wife wanted more crawfish so I asked if they are making more and the guy standing there on his phone looked up and said “no more”. I did ask the lady for rice since it was cold in the pan so she took my plate in the back to get me some from I’m assuming the rice cooker. That was the hottest item I received. After eating whatever they had that didn’t look like it sat out all day my stomach was turning. I literally walked out of there and felt nauseous. If you walk around the left side of the building looking at it from the road you’ll see where I threw up. I’ve never vomited immediately after leaving a restaurant my wife had to drive home. For the workers who don’t believe this look at the cameras. Paying this much for the little food they had out I wish I would have settled on somewhere else.
A friend and I tried King Buffet last weekend. It had comfortable seating and clean tables. The buffet had a good variety of food, however many items that should have been hot or at least room temperature were cold (e.g. potstickers, crab rangoons). Drinks are self-serve which is fine but it seems a little pricey (almost $20) when the food is cold. Flavor of the food was good and they had plenty of dessert options. The strawberry layer cakes were good. I liked the sushi I had; they had a handful of different choices. I wouldn't be opposed to returning but would choose other buffets/American Chinese restaurants ahead of this one.
China Experience
I really enjoyed my sample of orange chicken so much that I ordered a couple different foods to try. I must say that it was all delicious. I spent 25$ and had plenty to left overs. Will be back.
Best chinese in ohio, love this food and the workers are so nice.. I always feel a bit rude because sometimes I cant understand but I really appreciate you guys. I always recommend the egg rolls, lo mein noodles and the burbon chicken! Plus the mall always has the best atmosphere, this is the mall of my childhood.
