Central Wok
Horrible experience we ordered for delivery for the first time to try a new place . My husband ordered the boneless spare ribs order and general tos chicken . The order of general tos chicken the chicken texture was horrible the fried rice had no flavor and the boneless ribs with tostones had pieces of green glass . When I called to tell them was was going on they took it as a joke and I was upset told them it would’ve been a whole different story if my husband would’ve swallowed or gotten his gum cut . They had the nerve to tell me to bring back the food container and I refused all I said was be more cautious of your kitchen and where you guys store or cook your food . I wish I could take the star away they came back and gave us $8.00 and took the food I will never order from them .
The place was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. By the way, they only take cash no other payment methods
Lee's
Delicious Chinese food, it's my favorite spot I drive 2 hours from south Jersey for it.. their garlic sauce is to die for with their breaded chicken breast.. a must have 💯
It’s disappointing to try out a different place from usual only to lose money on item you didn’t ask for. First and last.
Sichuan Palace
The first time we ordered the spicy grilled fish, it was very good, the twice cooked pork was also very good, the second time we were a little disappointed. Maoxuewang should be a dish based on duck blood, but there was no duck blood in it. I think at least we should tell the guests about it before they order. The spicy chicken pieces were very small and dry, and there was no chicken taste when you bite into them. I don't recommend these two dishes, but I think the other dishes are okay!
Definitely a good place for some Chinese food. You can tell from the majority of customers that come to dine in are Asian that the food is authentic (I'm Chinese). The flavor was balanced and not heavy on sauce. I would say there is still an American touch since some of the dishes are sweeter than you would find at a restaurant in China, but still fairly tasty. You do have the option to add more spices or hot peppers as well. Parking was easy to find, but I would expect to be more busy during lunch hours.
Monkey King Asian Express
The woman that served me was very nice, friendly and accommodating. I got the bourbon chicken and it wasn’t on the menu but I showed her the picture from the Google business page and she got me together. Food was good and the portion was good.
ANYONE who writes a negative review about this place is either blind or stupid... You can literally SEE the food before you order it, before you pay, before you leave, before you eat it, before you write a review. I've been here 10+ times and it's always delicious, always a great value. Place is clean, workers are polite, and respectful. Give the place a shot, because it's worth it.
King's Wok
The food is great and you can call in your order but right now if you have to pick it up but you'll love it 🙂 you can eat in or pick it up

Good Year
Such good food, so glad I stumbled upon this place after a year of living here lol. Some customers need to understand that this is a no frills place and as long as the food (and place) is clean and delicious, I'm happy. Meets all my criteria.
Just one word!!! Horrible!! Stay away!! Ordered Chicken Lo mein, Chicken Fried Rice, Szechuan Chicken and Chicken Corn Soup from here. Fried rice was burnt and dry and smelled of soap, ciuld not take a spoon full. Lo mein was literally tasteless. The Szechuan chicken was stale and reheated in old stinking oil. The soup was chicken and egg dropped in water. We had to throw the entire food in the trash. I have not tasted anything worse than this. I ordered via Uber Eats and paid $62. Good year Chinese cuisine, you should return the money.
Garden State
Terrible customer service and no napkins on the order to go . By the way , special fried rice it's so poor quality, only two shrimps and bad quality of rice . So sad they had decreased their food standards
I was charged a few dollars extra because I paid with a card. Food not worth it at all. Won’t be coming back. Gave you guys more than 1 try and the pricing is always changing for different reasons.
Your Fresh Food
This is a new place, and they serve amazing Nepali-style momos. The momos are super delicious, and their soups are really good too. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. If you love momos, you should definitely try this place!
I had an awesome meal. The Chicken Manchow Soup was so flavorful and comforting, with just the right amount of spice. The Chilly Chicken Momo was a standout—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavors. The Chilly Potato with Scallion was perfectly spiced and had a nice crunch to it. I also tried the Mango Lassi, and it was the perfect creamy, sweet drink to balance everything out. Definitely a great spot for tasty, flavorful dishes!
King Szechuan Palace
Ordered vegetarian sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. Soup had two pieces of mushroom and not much else in it. Container wasn't full. Tasted old and burnt and like it was only vinegar. Onions in fried rice were not cooked. Sesame chicken was dry, overcooked, and tasteless. Fried rice also dry with no flavor. I had dinner here, maybe they're decent for lunch or dine in. I recently moved in down the street and was excited to have a Chinese spot right here, but I'll just skip it from now on. Waste of money.
Best Szechuan in town! I recommend Dining-in for the Szechuan/House Specialties dishes. They must be served hot on a plate, take-out containers don't do it justice!! I personally recommend the H22 boiled fresh fish filet, or the H4 bean curd fish filet. Their dumplings are great as well!
Kay's Spring Garden
This has been my family’s favorite chinese spot for over 20 years. Jenny is awesome and always makes sure my order is just how we like it. Always a hit every week !
Located in The Heights, Jersey city this is one of the legacy places in the neighborhood and visiting the place for the first time since 2019. First time, the rates were pretty affordable but obviously given the inflation over the past 5 years the rates have been increased but still affordable. Being a typical Chinese restaurant, just don't expect a great ambiance as they prefer to focus more on the quality of food! The service is pretty fast as they delivered the food within 10 mins despite giving me a time limit of 15mins. I ordered Hot and sour soup, Pan fried chicken dumplings and Veg Fried rice. Hot and Sour soup: Initially thought it would be chicken but turned out veg. The soup was living to its name though it was a little less hot than expected and had mushrooms, veggies, and a good amount of soy sauce and it tasted good. Pan fried chicken dumplings: Initially thought of ordering steamed but went for pan fried and loved it! The layering was good not too thick and thin whereas I wish the chicken had a bit of spices but I think they had added chives. The soy sauce accompanied by it was good too. Veg Fried rice: Fried rice had snow peas, broccoli, carrot, green peas, baby corn. The rice though felt a bit dry and could have been better. They served it in a takeout box and the box was a pretty cute one! Overall an affordable place to get good Chinese food within the neighborhood.
Jade Wok
Best tasting chicken and shrimp lo mein in the heights by far! My overly critical mother is a fan, and that’s saying a lot! They’re generous with the shrimp. Their fried rice looks more like yellow rice, yet it has more flavor than any of the competing Chinese restaurants along Central Ave strip. Their chicken wings dont have the authentic usual Chinese take out taste but it’s juicy and crispy as any good wing spot’s.
Have been coming here for a long time, the owners are the sweetest and the food is really great! I love the fact can get great quality food and sushi so close to home and at a great price!!! Win win for a fast delicious weeknight dinner!
Fortune
I always get boneless rib tips and shrimp fried rice and chicken wings in garlic sauce from here never had anything else from here but they make this dish so good !!!! Sometimes the chicken wings need a little more crunch to it with the garlic sauce but is so good like I said and only other thing is they need to put more shrimp in there shrimp fried rice . Other than that they are good and decent pricing .
The food was pretty mediocre and we didn't get food poisoning. Sauces were... Not quite right. Was a little surprised with portion sizes being so small, so fyi pint sizes are quite petite. The egg roll was really bad, too much dough, not seasoned well. We did like the lo main and fried rice. Mixed vegetables were decent too. The pork dish we got was 1/2 sauce (see orange sauce picture). The picture of me holding a box of rice is the side of rice, not a pint, those are a bit bigger.
