Tried this place the first time today and I was very very disappointed. Do not order house special chowmein. They don’t know how to make it AT ALL. It is very misleading. It’s not real house chowmein. I was expecting my house chowmein to have noodles in it but I got some crispy noodle chips. Even Panda Express knows that chowmein has real noodles in it and not a bag of chips. Beef with peppers and onions were too sweet and too salty. Will never come back! Waste of money.

Our favorite for takeout- we drive from North Ridgeville because this is hands down better than anywhere we’ve tried on our side of town and we love supporting a family-owned business. Portions are generous, everything is fresh, and we’ve tried several items across the menu. Everything has always been fresh, ready to go at pick-up time, and accurate. Can’t beat the service from the young gentleman at the counter either. Thank you for a reliably great experience every time!

I live in Avon lake and like to support local businesses but this restaurant just didn’t taste good at all. I got the egg foo young, fried rice, chicken fried rice and egg rolls. The egg foo young was not good the sauce tasted like it was spoiled or something. The fried rice is literally just yellow rice peas and carrots no flavor whatsoever no egg or soy sauce flavors like traditional fried rice and the chicken fried rice is boiled chicken in yellow rice with peas and carrots. It was not good. The workers were friendly.

To say this place has gone downhill would be an understatement. I used to go here back in the early 2000's and I would get the Cashew Chicken. I abhor cashews, but there was something about them in this dish that was absolutely delicious. It was LOADED with them. We ended up moving away so we stopped going here. Today we were in town visiting and I had to get my Cashew Chicken! Well, they should've renamed it "Celery and Rice" because there was so much celery (and carrots) it was DISGUSTING! There was a total of 5 (FIVE) Cashews in the entire dish! And not much more chicken! I was so disappointed. I don't know if they changed ownership, got a new cook, or what changed, but I do know we won't be going back! Apparently they don't give out fortune cookies anymore either. At least we didn't get any.

When they answered the phone I said, "I just left there, .....why, why, why would you look at this and still serve it, knowing it was overcooked? Unbelievable!! I ordered Egg Foo Young with Fried Rice. To my surprise, the patties were as black as tar and, the rice had a greasy look! The owner asked me to "come back so we can see it"! I informed her with the snow and slick roads, I had no desire to show her this slop nor, patronize this business again. Her reply was "Ok". So, "Ok" it is....called my bank to make sure that don't get that $16.00. Furthermore, I'm hoping you reading this, saves you time and aggravation. We have delicious Chinese food restaurants here in AL! This is NOT one of them!
