Ming Wok
Horrible no flavor special fried rice and an order of sweet and sour chicken When you call it to their attention they get nasty When I refused the poorly made food. They have a a business card size sign on the back of the refrigerated soda that they claim says no refund By far the worst food I have ever given the garbage can
Update: (2nd visit) pork egg foo young > great delicious, curry chicken > very good and nice heat, donuts > yum, and egg rolls > okay. See pics. Recommend. Large portion and great price. 👍👍 ----------------------------------------- First time here. Large portion at a price lower than most. Ordered a reliable dish, sweet and sour chicken. Food came with a free canned beverage. Chicken was nicely prepared, juicy and lightly battered compared to other places. The fried rice was ok, a bit salty, but I love sodium. A pleasant experience for me.
Peking Wok
I got the beef and broccoli and it was the blandest ive ever had. Plus there was a very long straight hair in my food. YUK! Surely wasnt mine being im black with coils. Smh.
Best chicken and broccoli ever!!’ I wish when I say well done broccoli that they would cook it mushy like I want it. Never enough sauce but that’s just because I’m OBSESSED with theirs! Always seems to be more expensive than what I had in mind, but I keep coming back because it’s SO DARN GOOOOOOOOD! Super friendly and always quick service. My fave go to Chinese ever!!

One of my favorite Asian dishes is the Singapore Noodles (Chow Mei Fun). I've been looking in the area for some. On a particular foodie facebook page for Wilmington, someone suggested this place, so I decided to try it out. There are only 6 tables and based on the looks of the place, most people do take out. While I enjoyed the dish, it was nothing close to what I've had before, which typically includes char siu, sesame oil, curry powder to give it that beautiful golden color and a hint of heat/flavor, and large shrimp. The shrimp in my dish were very small. There wasn't much cabbage. The woman at the counter was very friendly and I thought the prices were very reasonable for the portion. Will I return again? Sure. What I had was good, just not a true Singapore noodle dish. EDIT: With my leftovers, I made up a quick curry sauce and mixed it in. It made a huge difference - so much better. I wonder if the cook forgot this part when making my dish???
The food was ok but it definitely could be better, the pepper steak was not the best, forgot to include the sauce i requested with my order under special instructions, my triple delight was decent but definitely not what i was expecting, probably will not be ordering from this place again anytime soon.
