Just moved to the area and am pleasantly surprised to find this place. The food is fresh and the steamed chicken is real chicken with a great mix of vegetables. The egg drop soup is fantastic and the wonton soup has great flavor and large dumplings. Everytime we have ordered everything is always ready quickly. I love the little rice containers they are so cute! And the rice is steamed to perfection. We tried the fried dumplings tonight and they did not disappoint 😋

This is such a let down. We found this place a while ago and were so thankful that we found amazing Chinese food locally! Unfortunately everything has changed. The only thing that remained the same was the person at the front ringing everyone up. He is always so kind and gracious. But everything else has changed. So sad to say goodbye. We loved this place so much that we gave it a second shot to see if maybe it was just an off night but it wasn’t. It was the exact same terrible quality ingredients and lack of flavor as it was the last time. Wish it wasn’t so. Just awful food and a waste of money.

Chicken wings and fried rice .. Just nasty. Disappointed, the flavor was a burnt taste with a hint of NO seasoning. This is my 4th time ever leaving a review in my life but I couldn't let this one go. Hard earned money in the trash. It's harsh to say but not as harsh as it is on my gut. Facts

The food is always great. The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is always good. It is our favorite Chinese restaurant for Chinese takeout.

Sushi, hibachi wok, or full buffet...no one leaves here hungry! Food is tasty, as well as an Asian buffet can be, and it is hot and fresh. Nice salad and dessert bar, too. Plenty of seating.

Wow! This buffet is massive! The food was all great! Such a large selection with all the classics and unique options. The amount of seafood dishes was impressive. Hibachi and sushi were great too and all included in such a great price! Service was hectic but fast and friendly, this place gets busy on the weekends. We'll absolutely be back and I highly recommend

Best Chinese food I've had in the continental US, this spot is a family favorite. Great steamed dumplings, hot & sour soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, fried rice, gen. Tso's chicken, garlic shrimp or chicken, sweet & sour chicken... we've tried a lot of their dishes it's always hard to decide.

Hands down the best food. Food is very fresh and not full of sodium and MSG. This place is always consistent and delicious.

The food was very tasty. I had wings and shrimp egg rolls. The wings were cooked too fast so a few of the pieces were raw at the bone which can make folks sick. Otherwise, the food was great and I’ll be back to try other dishes. Service was excellent and the ambiance friendly. If in the area, give it a try.

Been going for about as long as they’ve been open. Food is good, not great. Good prices. However, for the first time in March 2025, I ordered scallops. They sold me fake scallops! They stunk of some kind of chemicals and had texture like shark. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

So I'm wondering where the taste buds of the people who left positive reviews are. Because I can honestly say this is the worst pork fried rice 🍚 I've ever had. I mean, it's palatable if you're hungry, but if I want to enjoy good fried rice🍚, this isn't it. First, it's not cooked completely, so yay for eating semi-hard, raw rice🍚. Secondly, it definitely seemed they just put the pork on top of an already half-made fried rice🍚. I found myself using ALOT of the duck sauce and soy sauce. The rice🍚 was with the butterfly shrimpđŸ€; the breading is by far one of the worst I'vehad, and to add, how does fried shrimp đŸ€ actually get mushy internally? I ended up throwing away the five shrimpđŸ€ that were left because I couldn't handle the mushy mess. I also wasn't sure the egg roll that came with my husband's order would be good, so that went in the trash as well. My husband had the General Tso's chicken 🐔 and pork fried rice🍚. We asked for it extra spicy, extra sauce, and um, the spice is a joke. He said the General Tso's was subpar, something you would eat if you were starving. We had fried cheese wontons that tasted as if they were reheated in a microwave. You know how breading, like on pizza or bread 🍞 in general, gets chewy when heated in a microwave. I feel bad for having to write this review, but I don't only post negative reviews. I post honest reviews that tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I can honestly say this restaurant is now on my list of places I will "NEVER GO" again. When my husband went to get the food, I'd say at least they were very nice. The restaurant itself could definitely benefit from some repairs. But if the food is of such low quality, I would definitely focus on that. So, yes, this is my honest review and opinion.

My favorite Hunan Chicken (slightly spicy, lots of vegetables). Large portions. Got my special requests right even though they were extremely busy.

Absolutely disgusting food. We ordered for a family of 3. Each meal was a different type of meal. Each one tasted old like it was on its last leg and should have been disposed of a couple of days prior. Dried out, bland, and just yuck and a waste of $40! I now see why I was the only person there for the 30 minutes I had to wait, and that was during prime dinner time. Lesson learned, never again!

I love this place been going since I was a kid.. the food is amazing & the customer service is great.. now what I don’t like is that they closed on Monday’s & the phone always has a busy signal the next day they are open.. been calling for an hour straight & I’m getting nothing but the busy signal.. Yall need to handle that frfr..

Best I e had in Gastonia so far and I eat Chinese food probably weekly. The chicken was properly cooked and not tough. I ordered the general tsos (could be spicier but was still good) and the orange chicken, fried rice, lo mein. Egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and those little donut things plus my boyfriend’s plate for right under $50 with delivery. Not bad I’m really happy with this purchase. Can’t wait to try the donuts, they smell amazing! There was no sauce with my order, I forgot to ask, but the food was great regardless it didn’t even really need it. Thank you guys for actually having good food in the area and putting care into what you create. Many places lack that around here these days.

People Please Stop ⛔ and Read This. Do Not give these people at Jade Express your đŸ’” ///////////////////////////////This food was disgusting and made me very very sick đŸ˜· i had to go to hospital i had gotten Salmonella Poisened from here. Please Jade Express don’t try and reply back with your auto lies. The food was totally dried out. Didn't look like it through the window. My crab ragoons were hard as hell with no feeling. I truly believe that the only reason a lot of people buy from you because your the only only spot in this Eastridge Mall that really need demolishing.

Do not order the sesame shrimp. The shrimp were small and tough. Most sweetened fired dough wrap around tough tiny shrimp. WASTE OF MONEY

I don’t know if they changed cooks recently but the quality of food has gone down in recent weeks. Doesn’t matter which chicken you choose, you’re getting the sweet and sour style breaded chicken which is weird. Sesame chicken shouldn’t look the same as sweet and sour or garlic chicken. Also sauces, they aren’t sauces
the cook needs to add either less liquid or more thickening agent, it’s just soupy and doesn’t cost the meat at all. Really bummer cuz the food use to be good here. But can’t really recommend it. You’re better off going somewhere else until they fix the quality of food

I ordered food for me and my kids and two out of the three things that I ordered were incorrect. I ordered shrimp and broccoli with white rice. Instead they gave me shrimp and broccoli with fried rice. I also ordered cha cha shrimp with plain fried rice and they sent me pork fried rice. I don't eat pork. I called them to explain you sent me pork fried rice. When I selected plain fried rice. The woman on the phone had a nasty attitude. She hung up on me, didn't offer to correct it or fix it or anything. This is the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. I would never recommend anyone to eat here. I will be giving them a bad rating on any website that I can find. This is so unprofessional. She didn't listen to me when I was telling her my complaint. All she did was keep cutting me off to say oh you ordered special plain fried rice. It is just ridiculous. I don't recommend anyone eat here because they clearly don't care about People's health. If I was allergic to something and they put it in my food then what I would have just been dead. And clearly they don't care. At this point. I hope that this place shuts down. They do not deserve to still be in service.

Door dashed food. 35 dollar and change because of 7 dollar tip. Food is so bland. 90% of it. Pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, won ton soup, crab Rangoon, egg roll. Egg roll was good according to my husband. Won ton soup was the next best thing. The rest.. bland bland bland. No flavor. So sad. They're over priced for no flavor and small size of food. Crab Rangoon weird..sour almost flavor and filling is so little. Hit and miss at chinese places around here. This one is a miss. Sorry.
