Golden Phoenix
Oranage chicken and chicken fried rice, I have been getting it for the past 4-5 years, and my god. Best Chinese food in the area. I am from back in New Jersey, and man, this come second place from the best chinese food ever. I didn't have any veggies, but I wanted extra eggs for $2. The spicy oranage chicken is just perfect, so it's not killing me, but it's gives it a nice taste.
Very please with our stop here! The restaraunt was very clean and relaxing. There is a nice waterfall in the entry-way that is soothing to listen to while eating. The staff was unbelievably friendly. So nice and quick to cater our needs. The opener is very proud of their restaraunt and definitely works their hardest keeping customers happy while serving quality food. We will stop by when we have a chance! Definitely a nice place to eat even with the large menu! Thanks Golden Phoenix!
WAH SING CHINESE RESTAURANT
This place is a hidden gem! The service was impeccable—friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The food was extraordinary; the dim sum was fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. The orange chicken was a personal favorite, perfectly cooked with a tangy, sweet sauce. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with an inviting, warm decor that made it feel like we were dining in a small, family-run spot in China. The overall vibe was peaceful yet lively, striking the perfect balance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Chinese food!
Ok, so, my roommate and I ordered from here. A drive to pick it up. 1st of all it's confusing as you step thru the door. 1 way for the Chinese food orders the other for the Mongolian BBQ part. Once I saw an employee I said I was there to pick up an order. We chose pork chow mein, teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef. None of these was to either of our liking. The chow mein noodles were a weird texture and lacking in seasoning and "the breath of the wok." The terryaki chicken was not like any we'd seen before, it looked more like sesame chicken with crispy chicken nuggets, a sweet sauce and sesame seeds on top it didn't read terryaki at all. The broccoli beef was okay nothing to scream about. 3 items costing just shy of $43 and we threw out the "terryaki" because the crispy batter went all soggy and there was no way to save it. The other items need help which I might be able to fix but all this to say... STICK TO THE MONGOLIAN BBQ
Golden Wok
My food was horrible. Over cooked. I threw the whole tray away (because I know they wouldn't give a refund). My total was $40, for 2 people, and both of us were dissatisfied. I will not be going back.
Super rude! I had a to go order that I had placed and walked in and thought he lady at the counter was talking to me so I just told her that, I had placed a to go order. She immediately shut me down and was like I'm waiting on this guy. She was super rude and her mannerisms were uncalled for. She even gave me a slight eye roll. She treated me like I was trying to break in line and she was trying to discipline me. So I went to explain again that I had thought she was speaking to me and I had already placed my order. She then got abrasive again and was like "I said that I would be with you after his order and held out her hand in an as if, cut me off manner. I then walked out. I called after and explained I did not appreciate her speaking to me that way and was going to give her the opportunity to remedy it only for her to yell and have an attitude further. I have always used this as my go to place for Chinese however, after that. I will never go back.
Tony's Fusion West
I called the restaurant directly to place an order for pick up. I was greeted very pleasantly on the phone. After asking a few questions. I ordered chicken and broccoli 🥦 in garlic sauce with fried rice and chicken dumplings. Twenty minutes later I was there to pick up my lunch. The same gentleman that took my order over the phone was there to complete the transaction. The food was good. However, next time I'm in Westhampton, I'll try another Asian Fusion place.
Coming here was totally by chance. My wife had a doctor's appointment and we were looking for something we'd both like that would be in the area. From their schedule, I saw they had just opened for the day, and as we walked in, the host was already taking takeout orders at that point, even interrupting when we got our order taken. We sat, picked our food and enjoyed every single bite. The price was right, the portions were right, the sushi was fresh and the miso was perfectly balanced. I would honestly make the 45 min drive to go there again.
Hong Kong City Restaurant
This was probably one of the worst Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been too- this place gives all Chinese restaurants a terrible name. For starters, the same food has been out since we’ve gotten here, the same cold and very small amounts of food. Second, the food here is very stale- we had gotta a small cake from here and it was so stale, it was disappointing (The topping had literally came off from it being out for so long.) We had also ordered a sweet tea, also very disappointing, it was purely overpriced sugar water that had a hint of tea to it. With the small amount of food, stale food for that, little options and terrible service, we would have been better off experience dumpster diving at McDonald’s and just eating from there. Also we ended up paying around $50 from here- I would say disappointing is an understatement for this restaurant.
Honestly I never write reviews on restaurants but….this was really bad, the restaurant smelled like chemicals kinda like a funeral home….and my food tasted old and also had a chemical taste. The environment was also really bad also gave funeral home vibes. PLEASE DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE…!
Peking House
This was my go to for well over 30 years! Sad to see how much the food has changed. I remember when their rice was flavorful, full of color from veggies and today it's rice and onions the size of a pop tart. It's just not the same anymore.
I love this place. The food is great. The restaurant is family run. Great prices and great service.
