I definitely see why they have a 3.2 rating they deserve it or lower. My wife stopped there to order some Szechuan chicken two egg rolls and fried rice.walked in restaurant was dead inside girl in the front had an attitude right off gate gave my wife rude disrespectful service with ordering asking questions my wife should have walke d out she wanted to get me dinner I see why there restaurant was empty too next time we will just drive 45 minutes to Durham we're the food is authentic and flavorful and customer service was genuine. This places food is garbage. FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING THERE WASTE OF MONEY!!!

The food is not very good, I experienced this once before, during the pandemic and chalked it up to that, nope that is the standard. No one was available to greet me when I arrived. There were two little girls glued to iPads only. The person checking me out barely said hi and demanded my phone number. All in all, it’s just not worth it for ME. Hopefully you have a different experience.

Ignore the plates being half gone I forgot to grab photos we were extra excited to eat! We came for my birthday and they did disappoint! What didn’t we order. Definitely coming back. Soup dumplings, pork buns, & fried flat noodles w/meat of choice was by far our FAVORITE!

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, don’t order the first two pages, the last few pages are where the gems are. Most dim sum restaurants use frozen ready made dim sum but I’m pretty sure this restaurant makes their soup dumplings and chives dumplings in house (trust me, I know when it’s frozen) Also recommend the 干炒牛河(rice noodles with beef) The oyster mushroom and steak taste super weird Servers are friendly, portions are big

A Flavor-Filled Adventure at This Hidden Buffet Gem Buffets can be a gamble; quantity often triumphs over quality, but every now and then, you stumble upon a spot that manages to strike a delightful balance between the two. This buffet may not be the opulent feast that is the Nordic Lodge, but what it lacks in high-end polish, it more than makes up for in variety, flavor, and value. Let’s start with the standout: the seafood. I was pleasantly surprised by the spicy fried crab—perfectly crisp with just enough heat to wake up the palate. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and the fried fish flaked apart beautifully. And yes, I dared to try the fried frog legs. Verdict? Flavorful, tender, and worth a repeat trip to the station. One of the highlights for me was the stir fry hibachi station. It’s one of those made-to-order setups where you handpick your ingredients and watch them sizzle to life in front of you. Few things elevate a buffet experience quite like seeing your meal come together with that kind of freshness and flair. Highly customizable and deeply satisfying. Now, the sushi. I’ll be honest—it won’t be winning any culinary awards, but you have to respect the effort. Think of it like a Venusaur: maybe not the flashiest evolution in the Pokédex, but solid, dependable, and clearly trying its best. Points for presentation and heart. In the end, this buffet delivers where it matters most: flavor, variety, and value. It may not be fine dining, but for the price, you’re walking away full, happy, and maybe even a little surprised by how good fried frog legs can be.

The food was WAY overpriced, especially considering nothing was even remotely warm - and nothing tasted good enough to justify the cost. The weekend buffet for ONE person is almost $20 ($18.99 to be exact). We were a table of three. Two of us brought our drinks in from the car. The third ordered a glass of water. Our bill was $65. The service bordered on the absurd. Our server/waitress came to our table no less than five times to ask if we wanted to pay our bill. This is AFTER being told we would pay it at the front on our way out. Not to mention the fact that in between those five or six times she came over, she “lingered” about five feet away from the table. Additionally, the first three times she came over, we were STILL eating. The atmosphere was okay, in my opinion. My companions thought it was way too noisy. The only issue I had was the consistent traffic everywhere (at the buffet lines, as well as up and down the aisles where patrons are eating). Take my advice and go to First China (6452 Tryon Rd, Cary, NC 27518) in Cary. It doesn’t offer a buffet, but the food is good. WAY better than this place.

Food is really prepared carelessly.. Who puts the broccoli leftovers in beef broccoli. Almost no beef in there all I saw was the huge stem. Same with mushroom chicken it was all mushroom. Of course the noodles had all the veggies and no chow mein. They are pretty consistent in not adding the main ingredients be it any portion you order. Never going back there.

ordered thru the app and picked up my tasty meal. My order was ready on time and it was hot. I got the Black Pepper Chicken and the new Hot Ones Bourbon Chicken with noodles. The Bourbon wasn't as hot as I expected it to be - very tasty. Plenty of everything! I was able to skip past the three people waiting in line. I'll be back.

Completely Flavorless both extra hot dishes ordered- no spice no heat at all two small pieces of broccoli for a quart of veg Lomein this might be the worst Chinese over ever had. Sad because I figured it would impossible to be that bad ordering total Staples which I ordered be bad. Noodles are dry and almost slimy. Beef and broccoli had no flavor at all. Also no sauce included for egg roll no sauce on anything really.

This was our first visit but it will not be our lasthe honey chicken was absolutely delicious and the sesame chicken was just perfect

Walked in and half of them were sitting and eating their food. After I ordered they all went and sat down to slurp their wings and lick their fingers while I just sat there. Finally the lady gets up, doesn’t wash her hands at all and bags up my order. Like really? This place has gone so far down hill and licking your fingers in front of customers eating your own food and then go and prepare mine without even at least rinsing off your hands? That’s just disgusting

It had been a while since we had Panda Garden. For a while the hours seemed wrong/odd, other times food was subpar. Decided to give them a try again last week. Food was delicious. Prices have gone up considerably as portion (and size of plastic tupperware) have decreased noticeably. But at least, the food was good!

Went on a weekday after lunch rush and it was good. It wasn't packed, the food looked fairly fresh, and the staff was nice. Tried multiple different things and everything was good, they were actively adding fresh foods too. Even the fruit and desserts looked fresh. They even had sushi that looked rather tempting. Good variety and reasonable price. Will be back again.

Nice Hibachi food. Good selection of soups, main course and deserts. They serve Pepsi drink. They do have the grill and Sushi. I did see decent vegetarian options.Decent service and family friendly place. Not an hi-fi ambience, on par with other hibachi buffet places. Also we can buy food per lb. At the time of my visit I think it’s $6.99 per lb and the buffet lunch is close to $11. Happy to visit again.

Picked up a big order tonight for the family. My food was really good and fresh. Po Po platter, General Tso chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, fried rice, and a couple Of spring rolls. My Popo platter was crispy and fresh. We absolutely loved it! This was first time order Everything else was our usual order all very good asked for no broccoli and they accommodated. Which I appreciate. Spring rolls extra nice this time. Thanks guys🩷

I love the food here. I live in Raleigh, but I pick up my granddaughter from a nearby school on Fridays. I often grab dinner here before driving back home. Everyone is super friendly. The food is hot and fast. I wish they were in Raleigh.

Very simple to order and in 15-20 minutes everything was ready. The food was ok, very greasy and heavy. The dumplings and the chicken on a stick were delicious, I recommend them! The lo mein noodles were pretty soft but tasted good. The General Tso's was ok, the rice was a little hard and the chicken was strangely dark. The Chinese donuts tasted very oily and I would not get them again. It's just a basic Chinese takeout restaurant, nothing very good and nothing very bad. I would recommend it only if you live close to the area.

Good Chinese takeout. I got the Kung Bo Chicken and my wife got the Sesame Chicken. Each came with an egg roll. There were 3 people in line ahead of us and it took us about 10 minutes to get our food. I added Sriracha to mine for a little spice. The fried rice is very good. The containers they package the food in are durable and good for re-use.

Location is decent, but inside is strictly for takeout, not very inviting. Communication is limited as the first person of contact is behind a glass wall with a pay window blocked by cardboard.😏The food was hot and seemed fresh.🥡 I ordered 2 orange chicken platters for my children, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. I forgot to say shrimp 🍤 egg rolls and they gave me a defaulted pork egg roll, also free egg rolls came with the combos. Price was $42. My children usually enjoy orange chicken but they said it tasted like chemicals they never tasted before. My rice was okay, next time I’ll pay for extra shrimp. Overall, I’m grateful 😇they were the only restaurant open after the snow storm. Thank you I knew they’d rather be home with their family.🙏🏾💜🥡🥠 #appreciative

Ordered the Mongolian beef for the first time. When I got home I opened the tray and saw that I apparently ordered the onions with side of beef. The amount of onions fills the entire takeout dish. The beef is next to it spread out to show comparison.

This place does pretty good at times but I've been finding myself getting ripped off lately. Today was the second time my chicken wings were over cooked and 3rd time finding pieces of my general tso chicken not being chicken, but this time 90% of the tso was just the big chunks of flour/starch (whatever they use to bread the chicken) being passed as chicken. I was trying to introduce my toddler to general tso and I wanted him to have flavoured chicken not fried starch/flour.

This place was great! Way better than that China Star place. The guy that took my order was super nice and got it right, it was hot and ready when I picked it up and the food was really great portions for price. We got the Lunch Orange and General Tso chicken with rice. Yum, we will be back. Thank you for your friendly service! The only thing that was off was the price it must of been a older version of their menu which is why I'm posting the one I got today.

NASTY, FUNKY, FOOD! When you walk into the restaurant it smells bad, that should have been my first warning, pepper steak was watery, had no flavor, tasted kinda funky and smelled worse, the sesame chicken was like a hard yet doughy substance with no actual chicken in it, think of a burnt hush puppy slathered in sesame sauce, fried rice was discusting, the house lomein was dry, nasty like everything else and it had bokchoy in it, who puts bok choy in lomein? This was literally our last meal here before moving and my family said I pulled a Judas on them with our last meal 🤣🤣🤣 like I hate complaining but seriously Just Order SOMEWHERE ELSE so you don’t suffer like us. Also it was overpriced.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo tonight. The chicken is an overcooked, dried out, hardened mess. It was truly not edible. I don’t know how they could send this food out of the door in good conscience? In addition to that, the sweet and sour sauce was an odd dark color. I googled causes and most explanations point towards it being expired or near-expired. I would not be surprised in the least. Last time I ordered I received overcooked, dry chicken, but not to this extent. I was hoping it was a one-off, but not so. Lesson learned, I’m done with them. Based on their apparent low standards, I wonder if they also own the one on Buffalo Lake Road? I think it’s fair to say, you’d probably be less angry if you flushed $20 down the toilet instead of wasting it on this so-called food. It’s getting really hard to find any decent American-Chinese food around here.
