Ordered from here after a long stressful day as a treat and when my order arrived I found that the chicken Fried Chicken Wings (4) that I had ordered.. were tiny.. almost like they came from a quail. The Beef with Mushroom was decent as well as the Chicken Lo Mein (albeit gummy) But paying 11.25 for wings about the side of two of my fingers side by side that had little to no meat on them.. Will not be ordering from there again.

My husband takes me here to eat ALOT. It's one of our favorite places to get takeout. The lady an her son are very polite an respectful. GREAT FOOD 🙌🤩

Wanted some chineese food and looked up some places on our way through town, this place had decent reviews....I have no idea why!! spent 40 bucks on a Sesame Chicken, Crab Ragoons, Chicken Lo Mein, and one extra eggroll. It was all a huge mistake! The Sesame Chicken was way to sweet, the pork fried rice had big chunks of uncooked pork fat in it the Chicken Lo Mein had good flavor but the noodles were so over cooked it was the texture of mashed potatoes in your mouth. The crab Ragoons were chewy not crispy and full of a very runny filling the flavor was good but over all they were bad. The eggrolls were again soft and kinda chewy not crispy and full of some off tasting mushy filling that had an oddly cinnamon like taste, the three of us that tried them all thought so. I was highly disappointed especially for the price. Don't waste your time or money here.

Easy to order online. Friendly staff. You can't really eat inside. Prices are a little high, but we were happy with the food. The sesame beef was good, the kung Pao chicken was our favorite, it had lots of veggies.

This was probably one of the worst Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been too- this place gives all Chinese restaurants a terrible name. For starters, the same food has been out since we’ve gotten here, the same cold and very small amounts of food. Second, the food here is very stale- we had gotta a small cake from here and it was so stale, it was disappointing (The topping had literally came off from it being out for so long.) We had also ordered a sweet tea, also very disappointing, it was purely overpriced sugar water that had a hint of tea to it. With the small amount of food, stale food for that, little options and terrible service, we would have been better off experience dumpster diving at McDonald’s and just eating from there. Also we ended up paying around $50 from here- I would say disappointing is an understatement for this restaurant.

Honestly I never write reviews on restaurants but….this was really bad, the restaurant smelled like chemicals kinda like a funeral home….and my food tasted old and also had a chemical taste. The environment was also really bad also gave funeral home vibes. PLEASE DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE…!

We ordered shrimp chop Suey . It was good veggies were fresh little over cooked.egg rolls and egg drop soup horrible . Never in my life have I had orange broth and eggs were over cooked no flavor. Whoever took my order over phone was not very nice . I did tip the driver and they were over 1/2 hr late from what we were told would only be 45 minutes .When they were below choppers place at knights inn we would get food at least once a week. And always great. I gave them a chance and never again

Food was amazing and waiter Justin was very sincere and understand of my wife’s needs being she can’t have certain foods; our food took some time to come out but I realized shortly after it was all hand cut prepped and made to order for my order! I just wish the store looked as good as the food tastes. I ordered the Mapo tofu with chicken.

Horrible food. Dry, no flavor. A total waste of money. The only thing good about this place is that it appears to be clean. I won’t be going back. Do not recommend.

I'm not sure why all the rough reviews. I had a good experience here. General Tso chicken was tender and good flavor, the pork fried rice and pork egg roll were very good. Quick for walk in order and take out. It is clearly a mostly takeout restaurant, but had the interior appeared a little more comforting, I might eat there. Only a few tables, no real design, and boxes stored in the dining area. Again, first visit, and I'm not sure it's always that way, but it could use some dine in appeal.

Yet again messed my order up. I got shrimp and mixed veggies. Supposed 2 come with white rice, stated on menu. Came with fried rice and too rich for me 2 eat. The other time I went 2 weeks ago I ordered moo gai pain. Got home and it was chicken with mixed veggies. Don't they double check there orders. Sad. I paid good money only to be disappointed twice. Check ur food before u leave. I told them and she said sorry but that doesn't cut it

This has to be my favorite spot to get Chinese food. Unfortunately, after covid 2020 the quality of the food went down. I rarely ever visit now. I typically drive a further distance and go to Camden. I really hope they step it up and get back to fresher food. I miss having a good local spot!

Waited 30 min in line and in front of the store for honey chicken and only got small breading with no chicken in it. Maybe 1 piece was actually chicken. This is crazy..never happened before

I want to preface this review by saying I usually prefer homemade meals so I avoid things like this but we have a roadtrip tomorrow so I would rather get take out than have left overs. I specifically asked for chow mein with as little bit of cabbage as possible(I understand it won’t be cabbage free as it is prepared together) but I made the request and the girl said she would try her best. This was suppose to be for my toddler. To my surprise, when I arrived home which is about 20 mins away from Panda I realized it was ALL cabbage with a side of noodles. At this point all I can do is laugh and sift through the noodles for my son. Pictures for reference !

I remember the first time my family and I went to this place. The food was fresh, and the staff were really nice. We've been regulars ever since because there's this one lady that knows us well. BUT, they really need to work on making the food fresh and not stale, sticking onto the plate, or hard, especially the rice. I know that is what people mostly complain about in the reviews, but you are also able to ask for fresh food too. They have a lot of options to choose from and my personal favorite dessert is the chocolate/coffee cake they have. The service is great. they always check on you and see how things are going. The lady that knows us gives my sister a lollipop or any type of candy she has when we are about to leave, and I love that but the other waitress are kind of rude they need to work on that too. They also need to work on cleaning the place better since there is mold but in other reviews they have said that there is roaches, bugs in drinks when I haven’t seen any but if there is they need to throughly clean the whole place. We also didn’t have to wait to get our seats it is very quick. So yes me and my family would keep coming to this place. Do not have any photos of us.

2/5/2025 We walked in and ordered our drinks and went to get food. With roughly two hours before closing, the food was limited and also everything was hard and stuck to the pans. I was not impressed at all. Walking around the buffet my friend's daughter 4 years old said to her mommy that she saw a bug. We went to look thinking probably a fly or something no it was roaches. Roaches crawling on the buffet where the food is. Immediately my husband started gagging. That is absolutely disgusting. We left our plates and started to walk out. When we talked to the lady at the front who was a white woman, she said she was sorry that they just had the whole place bombed and sprayed for roaches. She said she understood and not to worry. She was the only part of that I appreciated her understanding that none of us were going to eat. If your business has roaches roaches are bad enough to be where the food is you need to close up and handle your business and get that under control before you serve food. Please fix that. Unfortunately for us we will not be going back and I hope others read this and maybe choose a different place. This is a legit review.

Overall the experience was pleasant, and importantly, the food was delicious! The chicken curry and Lo Mein were flavorful and fresh! The wonton soup was savory as well! Despite the underwhelming first impression of my call-in order experience and viewing the interior of New China, we enjoyed the food! I can understand how some other reviewers could interpret the employee as rude over the phone, but upon arrival for food pickup, she was delightful. The food is more like the Chinese food I’ve experienced in PA & MD. Some of you will understand! We will be returning, and we do recommend it to try!

Made a delivery order yesterday. Bought like 43 bucks worth of food. When it finally got here, I was excited, started sampling everything. I kid you not every single item apart from the white rice had a weird flavor that hit the tongue immediately. Like stale oil or mold or something. It even smelled weird when I went to throw it away. Stuff just didn't taste right. So I call, asking if there's something that can be done, if I can get a refund. This lady tells me I'd have to drive all of the food to the restaurant in order to get a refund. I'm disabled and don't drive, also seriously, that's crazy? It was a delivery order. Anyway I'm filing a dispute with my card issuer. I thought the bad reviews were tripping at first, or people just trying to get free food and being rude, but the food actually legitimately is awful and whatever lady is running the phone is mean and combative. I was extremely polite when I reported the issue. Zero stars if I could. Response to owners reply- Girl why the hell would I expect you to come back and get it? Zero times ever is that part of the process. You food went down my garbage disposal. Every other restaurant out here and comprehend the process of a refund with a delivery order. Your food sucks. And the bit about the flavor being fine is just a lie cause you've got multiple reviews here telling you the same. I hung up on you because you told me I'd have to drive the food all the way back to the restaurant. Get your head checked. Go ahead and counter dispute idc my bank is great with this stuff, they will be told exactly what you did. 😭 And you wouldn't even need to if you were actually making money, clearly you aren't, bc like I said your food sucks and you're mean as hell. Expecting anyone to drive food back to you after a delivery order is literally insane and not a single other restaurant out here would do that. If the food isn't satisfactory it isn't satisfactory. And yours straight up tasted unsafe to eat. Period

The food was fresh and the largest buffet in Jacksonville. The hibachi and sushi was outstanding. The best sweet tea around! If you're from the south you know how important that is! Danielle kept the glasses filled and plates cleared. Very impressed with the level of service and food for such a great buffet. They have a regular menu to order from also. Highly recommend Mai Tai and will return often

We came in around 8:15 and they close at 9. They offered to make anything. On the bar fresh for us. They were so nice. The restaurant was clean and the hibachi was amazing. The sushi was very good. They had a great selection . The waitress was very helpful and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure we as a family were taking care of. Great job!!

I always order from them and had no problem. The person who delivers is very nice and though I don’t have it I always find a tip of no less than $5. But I ordered food for my son for doing well and found metal string in his food. I’m so happy I opened it and put it in a plate. I don’t want to imagine what it could have done.

Delicious! Ordered delivery, $3 fee on a $19 total. Arrived on base within 45 minutes. Lunch pork lo mein, crab rangoon and a small wonton soup. Lady on the phone was fast and efficient; delivery driver friendly and simply handed up the bag. Paid by card over the phone and added tip. Will definitely order again!

This place has changed hands so many times, the food has gotten worse with each new management. I should have walked out when I smelt like sewer in there. The food I ordered very bland didn’t even taste like Chinese food. When the store food rat opened the food tasted so very good and very authentic. Now it’s like they don’t care about what they prepare for the public, but yet we are the ones who keep their doors open. They have tubs of chicken wings sitting out, as well as other foods that get fried. This place truly needs to be shut down! My food by the way went in the garbage!!!!
