Soho Bistro
Liked this place a lot! Cheap food with great portions, and the women who run the place are a blast. They're really nice and funny and will tell you ab their lives if you ask. They're also super attentive and an absolute riot
As you can see, I got the sesame chicken, and they brought me white rice instead of the fried I paid for. If you look closely you can see that there's still some left on the plate, meaning they probably just brushed it off and added the goods. Not a deal breaker for me, but the crunchy chicken absolutely was. Pretty sure what I ate was 90% breading. Points off for that, and flavor too. They got my order wrong, but the service was speedy and attentive. Not a lot of customers, but they made sure to keep the place tidy regardless. I probably won't be going again due to the quality of the meal I ate, but it was a nice looking place! This will serve you well for a business lunch or a cheap rendezvous.
China Shuttle
Lackluster standard Chinese food. The food was dry and overcooked. Extra credit goes to the clerk-cashier with his soulful personality and interactions with the public. Overall, I had a decent experience.
I love their shrimp with vegetables and fried rice. The food was prepared very well and the staff was very friendly. I will be a frequent customer.
Great Wok
I can’t even begin to describe how GROSS this place was. Never have I ever walked into a restaurant that didn’t smell like cooked food. Even if you don’t like the smell, you should be able to tell it’s a restaurant. Not this place... I opened it - the rice was hard, didn’t smell like anything but oil and the chicken had zero flavor. Like they made it in water and then sucked all the flavor out. Dry, hard and tasteless. Absolutely hands down the worst food I’ve ever ordered out.
I order from this restaurant fairly regularly. I only get the Singapore noodles and spring rolls, but the food is fresh, tasty and cooked well. Not greasy, plenty of vegetables with a nice crunch and my spring rolls are hot , fresh and delicious. I've always been treated well by the staff. I do not eat in, but the place is always clean.
