Very cute little restaurant. The staff were all very nice and attentive. And the food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great little family owned place. Small but great food. Very friendly staff. We loved it.

I had some exceptional dine-in service tonight at dinner. For I always order cream cheese rangoons, this time I got the sizzling shrimp with grilled teriyaki chicken and a side of fried rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. I will always come back for more at this location.

If you're in the food for something fast yet tasty, look no further. Get your Asian food fix satisfied. A solid place to get a quick bite.

If you are hungry and end enjoy Chinese noodle soups, this is a great place to enjoy soups. The portions are very good, you can create your own level of spicy, and the broth is delicious. I recommend the dumpling soup. The rice dish was also good, but noodle dishes would be my recommendation.

The Spicy and Sour Chicken Pottage Noodle bowl here is truly a dish that heals the body and the soul. One of my favorite noodle dishes in Asheville. Pair with a crisp TsingTao and you’ll have a perfect meal. Will provides great service and I always make sure to make it extra spicy. This place is highly recommended

This is by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I almost thought I was on a reality TV show and the host was going to jump out from the corner and give me my real food. I ordered from here Xmas day so I wanted to give them some slack but the food was so bad I had to leave a review. The pu pu platter for two was disgusting. It was like it was left out 2 days ago and re-heated up in a microwave except the taste of old dirty oil overpowered everything. The pork was a fried piece of fat, no meat. The chicken on a stick (was it suppose to be teriyaki?) was super dry and hard. The dumplings was completely overcooked and rubbery, could barely bite into it. The general TSO was the only barely edible thing after throwing out the pu pu platter. Pork fried rice had nothing in it besides rice.

Food has went downhill. We've been ordering here for years. The orange chicken is dry and it's just leftover scrap peices now. Not worth it anymore. Get better quality chicken and we'll be back.

Here visiting & this was one of the only places open later. My order was placed efficiently, with very good customer service over the phone. The food was finished within 10 minutes of me placing my order, fresh, accurate, and genuinely tasty. Although I'm not too familiar with the area, I will say the restaurant is not located in a "great" area but that's not the owners fault and you can tell they are doing the best they can to stay safe and give excellent service. Yes there were quite a few stragglers outside in not the best shape, but they left me alone. I wish the owners the best of luck & please anyone visiting take the time to support this business. It may not be the most lavish Asheville has to offer, but I was very satisfied in my experience.

I’m crowning China Taste my favorite American Chinese restaurant in Asheville. My order is always prepared correctly, the folks who work here are kind, their food is very tasty, the portion sizes are plentiful and their prices are reasonable! A few of my go-to orders include: Crispy Scallion Chicken, Chow Mei Fun, Szechuan Wontons, Crabmeat Rolls, and Chicken on Sticks (pro tip: you can make some yummy sandwiches out of Chicken on Sticks. Kewpie, broccoli/kale slaw, avocado, a little sweet soy sauce—get creative, thank me later.). They don’t drown their Crispy Scallion Chicken, and similar dishes, in the sauce like some places I’ve experienced in the past. I appreciate and respect a solid sauce to crispy chicken ratio. Their Chow Mei Fun hits the spot when I’m in the mood to take soft, airy vermicelli rice noodles with a little curry to the face. The wonton soup comes with those good fried wonton strips, not the dense/stale/flavorless oyster cracker nibblets I’ve gotten at some places. Through and through their dishes are delicious. I see an attention to detail and consistency with their cooking that’s made me a fan. On top of it all they offer online ordering and they’re open 6 days a week until 10pm. I always do pick-up and my order has always been ready quick. Yeah, the parking lot’s…a vibe sometimes, but whatever. I’ve never been harassed by anyone that’s hanging around out there, but hey, CT also offers delivery if you’d prefer. I wish you nothing but longterm success, China Taste. Thank you for making delicious food, especially when I’m too tired to cook. I’m glad we’re in the neighborhood together.

Really good discovery. Total takeout spot, so don’t plan to sit and eat inside for more than a break room at work vibe. Great service, solid food. Had the General Tso chicken combo with white rice and a spring roll. Also got some steamed dumplings. The spring roll was okay, but nothing to write home about. The chicken was excellent! The dumplings were bigger than most places I’ve gotten them at. Overall, great experience and I’ve got a go-to Chinese takeout established!

Absolutely love king’s kitchen. The ONLY downfall is not being able to have it delivered through any of the food service apps. Large portions and reasonably priced. As a family of 7, this is one of our go-to’s for Chinese. Don’t let the small store front take away from the amazing food. Call your order in and it’ll be ready when you get there.

Amazing service holly is the best and is like the best friend and mother you could have. She made us feel so taken care of and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. I would only want to be served by her when I come in. We came in later so it was pretty much just us and they were so amazing to us! The cherry blossom martini was incredible definitely my favorite drink!

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left…the service, the food, and the experience was #topnotch! We adore our server Miss Holly, as she made my Mom (who’s visiting from California) feel soo welcomed and attended to! Thanks again for the amazing experience tonight and we look forward to returning soon! 👍😀 Tom / Asheville

Food tasted great until I threw it back up. Got nasty food poisoning from their sweet and sour chicken or crab Rangoons at 4am. Don’t go here, seen other reviews complain about cleanliness, this just further backs those claims. Edit: I see other people have had this same issue not just recently but in the past year!! That’s pathetic. They’d best get it together before someone sues. Can’t stand restaurants that are negligent like this..

I ordered Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice and vegetable Lo mien from this establishment last week and it gave me horrific food poisoning please be careful with this place. They are not clean and have very low standards.

Clean, large variety, good service, beautiful setting, clean bathrooms that don't smell bad like some buffets and the toilets actually flush, it's as close to Asiana as you will get. Average buffet pricing worth every penny. I drove 22 miles to get here cuz the buffets in Hendersonville are going down hill and it's 100% worth the drive unlike the only 2 Asian food buffets in Hendersonville these guys/gals don't burn the sugar doughnuts. Next time I want quality and buffet Asian style I will go the extra miles and come here. I didn't see many photos to help me make a decision so I took a bunch to help others needing to make a decision. THE SWEET TEA IS PERFECT NOT TO SWEET NOT TOO SOUR! They are quick to clear the table of dirty dishes instead of leaving the table dirty with dishes piling up. THEY ACTUALLY FILL YOUR DRINKS INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR YOU TO BEG FOR A REFILL AFTER YOU ARE CHOKING ON THE FOOD Unlike many places they actually answer the phone if you have questions. I highly reccomend the dinner buffet over the lunch buffet it cost a little more but the quality of their food makes it worth it. If you come in at lunch and decide you want dinner items too just make sure you don't have the lunch and dinner buffet in your receipt never hurts to double check.

The service was fine. The atmosphere was fine. The food was DISGUSTING. We arrived 1.5 hrs before closing. Even (especially?!) the salad bar appeared to have food safety issues (the cucumbers were cloudy; the lettuce was brown -- all of it; there were rotting grape tomatoes mixed in with the barely ripe ones). I guess the people who enjoyed this place were into the fried food. Maybe that will not make you sick? I dunno. Within 30 minutes of departure, I was suffering gastrointestinal issues. My bf (who always eats everything on his plate), just frowned at his food as he tried to choke it down, and he has yet to leave the bathroom since arriving home. Really, really do not think anyone should eat here. Someone else (who loves the place!) posted a Google Review about a week ago reporting cockroaches on the wall. Please, health inspectors, shut this place down. P.S. The owners greeted us at the door as we were leaving; they seemed very nice. Our server was kind, too. I hate to utterly trash their food, but most of what was on the buffet was literally garbage. The 4+ Google star rating for this restaurant is grossly misleading; I have to warn others. Do not eat here.

Came here on a holiday when nothing else was open so wasn’t expecting anything crazy. The food much like other reviews kind of says it all. It’s more of a basic get the job done scenario. The dumplings were way over battered and the pork fried rice needed quite often but if seasoning. The staff is friendly there isn’t a dine in option. The egg rolls though were tasty. Cheers!!

I need to preface my review a bit: I lived in Fairview 7 years ago and this was my go to for Chinese at that time. Since I’ve now returned, I was happy to find them still open and decided to give them a try I got the teriyaki shrimp combo plate. It had great flavor, plentiful portions and the shrimp were not salad shrimp like I feared they would be. Big, plump, tasty shrimp. Lots of veggies as well. More than ample rice. The egg roll That came with it was so good I wish I’d gotten two. My only complaint is the lack of customer service. They just are not friendly. Perhaps a language barrier, but even a smile goes a long way.

Surprisingly for asheville this location has beyond excellent service, quality of food and great portion size. It is always clean and the workers are friendly and respectful not just of the customers but toward each other. We avoid eating in asheville due to just poor and disrespectful service from most other restaurants. Whomever owns this location should be very proud!!

Food was good but they were already out of some items and it was only noon.

China Wok is our go-to spot for quick, delicious, and affordable Chinese food! My husband loves their beef with broccoli—the broccoli is always perfectly crunchy. I’m a big fan of their rice noodles with shrimp, so tasty every time. Great flavors, fast service, and very reasonable prices. We always leave satisfied!

They’ve gotten pretty darn inconsistent. We always order the same thing (the Singapore chow mei fun). This time, there was hardly any curry. You can see from the lightness of the noodles on the photo. Also it wasn’t spicy at all. Sometimes there’s far too much curry. Sometimes the curry isn’t even stirred into it and it’s just left in big clumps. Also please note that my son ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken without the sweet-and-sour sauce, and you can see from this photo how overly breaded and fried the chicken is. When the chicken is in the sauce it has a lot more opportunity to hide how over-breaded it is, but without the sauce, you can see that it’s really over-fried and has a lot of batter. This used to be our go-to place, for years and years and years, but recently they increased the prices; my Singapore chow mei fun was almost $19. And I understand when prices went up after Covid, but if you’re going to charge $19, I’d like to have a little bit more consistency with the quality. I am fine paying $19 for good Singapore chow mei fun that is correctly spiced, but not when sometimes it’s overspiced, sometimes it’s underspiced, sometimes the spice is clumped and sometimes there’s hardly any spice at all. We want to like this restaurant again! We want to go back. We live nearby and we want to make this our regular to-go Chinese restaurant. So I hope that if the owners are reading this, they will take this as constructive criticism and examine the consistency of their dishes. Also, the sweet-and-sour chicken could do with less breading and more chicken. Said with hopes of improvement!
