Best Japanese restaurant in Yorktown! Never seen such a fat shrimp tempura and fresh salmon this far from ocean :) servicing staffs are very friendly and the owner is on sight to make sure everything is right. Came with no expectation but came out with satisfied customer! Definitely a repeat custome!

Flame Asian Bistro

I've passed this place 100s of times and never went in. I saw a drink on a IG post and that's want made me go in. The drinks are good and the food is so fresh and flavorful. I seriously can't believe i didn't go in here sooner. The atmosphere is upscale and really nice. I really liked the beef skewers and the fried rice is amazing. Another time in i had the beef and broccoli which was also really good. This is real food not the fast Chinese junk food. Also I had a twin lobster tail which was good as well. I definitely go in whenever I'm at the mall now.

The food was delicious I ordered the diet shrimp and broccoli with the sauce on the side. Very very great. The service was great and the decor of the place was amazing

Fantastic food!! Everything is seasoned to perfection! Everyone was super happy with their meal selection. We started Chicken Momo and garlic Nan for appetizer and continued with lamb Tika Masala, Lamp tandoori and Lamb Saag with some raita. We have eaten here a number of times and have always thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Come for the momo, stay for the delicious entrees. Perfect from beginning to end, the food comes out quick, hot and fresh and tastes delicious. What more can you ask for? Super friendly owner and wait staff.

Nice people, fast service. Only sad part is sweet and sour chicken has hard chicken, but every place I go I find that same problem

This place sucks prices, food isn’t that great, prices are high and counter guy sold me on jumbo fried shrimp and then only put shrimp in my meal like what, but answered yes to all my questions before I payed. This place is a rip off

Okinawa Sushi Hibachi Restaurant

We moved to this area about a year ago and have tried several Chinese and Asian restaurants since then. For those of us who grew up in Asia, most Asian restaurants in the U.S., especially Chinese ones, feel more like fast food. I’ve always missed the authentic flavors of home—until today. At this restaurant, I finally got to enjoy sushi, wontons, and sweet and sour soup that taste just like they should. My son was so thrilled that he asked if we could come back regularly.

Okinawa is one of the best sushi and hibachi spots in the area! The service is always so quick and accommodating and super friendly. Food comes out amazing everytime and everything is always so delicious! One of our favorite places!

What can I say? I was hungry. I’m a fan of Asian food. However this was not it. Tasted great and nothing wrong with the food. Portions are very small. Didn’t feel like I was getting $17 dollars worth of food. It felt super expensive for what I’m buying. Some rice, plantains and some chicken. Also the egg roll. I will say the egg roll does make it more but I had to try it. That egg roll was different size from the Chinese restaurant I would go to. I would honestly say the egg roll would’ve filled me up. If I do go back and get something I would just get the egg roll because I can’t justify $17 dollars. The atmosphere felt very regular like not inviting you know. The trays looked empty. The cashier was very positive and polite. Would I eat here again? Maybe. If I’m really hungry but I would just do the egg roll. I can’t even imagine getting a drink form there to. Probably would’ve brought the total to over $20. I can see them increasing prices to keep up with the mall. So I can’t blame them. Such a shame. But I have to be honest.

Yesterday, I visited the Jefferson Mall in Yorktown Heights with my daughter. After some shopping, we went to the food court on the second floor and chose to eat at Asian Chao. A meal costs $12.98. My daughter ordered rice with veggies and chicken, and I asked for only veggies and chicken, without any rice or lo mein. The server gave me a small scoop of veggies and two scoops of chicken. When I asked for more veggies, I was told I’d be charged extra. This was frustrating, especially since I didn’t ask for rice or lo mein and expected more veggies in their place. Instead, the server gave me one piece of broccoli as “extra” and still wanted to charge me more. The whole experience felt greedy and unfair. It’s disappointing that the restaurant’s policy would penalize a simple request like this, and the server’s attitude was unconcerned. This left a poor impression, and I won’t be returning.
