Lees Family Chinese Restaurant
Every time I have been here, I've had nothing but good experiences. The food comes out fresh and tastes amazing. Love the small family vibe as well. This latest time my mom got the Mongolian beef and I had the coconut chicken. Both were delicious. Definitely will be back!
I’ll write this review honestly, and since I grew up in Chinese restaurants myself, I’ll be more strict with the review. I came in hungry with some friends to get some food. Then the owner’s kid sat us down and took our order. Ah, that was me years back. The kid did a pretty good job taking our order. And the food came out in order: soup, appetizer, main dish. Now as someone who grew up in Chinese restaurants, I have obviously tasted the food. While the food isn’t bad, it just isn’t as good as I expected. The food at the restaurants I worked at was better. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s decent, but it wasn’t my expectations. The cold noodles got like a sweet and sour taste to it, while the taste I expected was sweet and creamy. I recommend using peanut butter. The hot and sour soup was fine, I should’ve asked for it to be more spicy and sour. The General Tso’s Chicken was also fine, though it wasn’t what I expected either. The General Tso’s Chicken from the restaurants I grew up in tasted better, that’s all. Nothing to say about the fried rice, it was fine too. Though I’d recommend to use egg yellow shade to give the rice the yellow color for authenticity. Maybe I’ll be back another day. Hope to see the kids again.
Golden Hill Asian Cuisine
My husband and I had dinner here last night. I feel like this place is the best kept secret in Buffalo! Service is amazing and the food is fresh, high quality and decently priced. I ordered crab rangoons and General Tso Chicken, and my husband had vegetable lo mein and szechuan chicken. My favorite thing is that the chicken is moist on the inside- you don't get any tough, dried out pieces like you do with other chinese places. We will definitely be back again!
Family of Singaporeans on the way to Niagara stumbles into Chinese Restaurant run by a Malaysian. How quaint!? We always loved the US version of the sour and spicy soup and this does not disappoint. My daughter raved about the wanton soup. The sweet and sour pork is rock solid. Properly batter and fried pork, vinegar tomato sauce with pineapple chunks. It hit all the right notes with us. Being Singaporeans, we always try the Singapore Noodles which is not available back home. Full of wok hei, I have to say this is better than Mama's. The pork fried rice is a good as any place back home which would be a great compliment. Thanks for the hot, awesome meal!
Gin Gin Restaurant
The most wonderful and delicious Buffalo Asian food experience. Unlike almost any other restaurant, I get the same thing every time I go. House special chicken chop with rice. I think the chrysanthemum tea is also fantastic.
Food was disgusting! When I called to let the owner know she did not care at all. Dry dumplings, burnt shrimp toast, and sweet and sour sauce tasted and looked like garbage. We wanted a refund. Owner refused to make it right. Over $50.00 worth of garbage food!
Wok & Roll
Hands down the best Chinese food we've had here! Benny is very gracious and welcoming and genuinely cares about his customers. The food is outstanding. I enjoy the garlic chicken, curry chicken and General Tsao chicken, all delicious! My husband loves the orange chicken and their hot and sour soup is also the best I've tried. Everything is very cozy and extremely clean, fast service and you'll be treated like a friend. The best Chinese food anywhere, highly recommend!
We travel from Niagara Falls to eat here. The won-ton soup alone is worth the drive. Everything is just too good and the restaurant is always clean.
Inchin's Bamboo Garden
It was a decent experience here. We ordered the gochujang beef tacos which is a horrible name for what they actually are. A noodle dish, and variety of dumplings. The lettuce wraps or "tacos" were pretty tasty. I would say there was a lot of chili oil on them. The noodle dish was fine. The dumplings were great. You can choose 2 sauces and they had good flavors to them. It's been a while to remember but I think the service was good. The person who brought out the food seemed a little new. The atmosphere is not bad. I really like their ice breaker sheets that they placed on the table. It is great for people to use if they have nothing to talk about.
Everything was superb. The drinks were phenomenal. - Flavor profile impossible.🤤😋😍 Moon, our server was very attentive and informative. This is by far the best experience. The food was awesome. Kudos to the chef for making such amazing food. Thank you, again! This place is a must. You will not be disappointed.
Buffalo Little Lamb
Good place for buffet. I came here on Sunday around 1PM and took the brunch buffet. There aren’t too many options but food is decent and got filled often. I like that they have soy milk. The cake dessert is also very soft. The fried chicken is also good. Other food is a bit salty in my opinion. The restaurant is clean and staffs are friendly. Price is affordable
First hotpot experience ever! The servers were so patient and informative of how it all worked. Huge selection of fresh veggies and tofu which is perfect for me since I am vegetarian. My boyfriend loves their steak and the fish/pork balls. Making your own sauce to dip in is definitely my favorite part! Many broths to choose from as well and I really like that you can do split pots even if it’s only two people since my bf eats meat and I do not. Different sake and soju to try and were delicious! Ambiance is welcoming and the music/ led screen playing music videos is fun but not too loud. Very clean whenever we go, as well as the bathrooms smelling fresh. Any negative reviews about the service must’ve missed the huge “call” button at each table if you need anything or want to order more the employees come right away. We never end up even needing the call button. Overall the service was immaculate and we were constantly being checked on by all three employees which made us felt so cared for. Can’t recommend this place enough and it’s our new favorite spot!
Miss Hot Cafe
I ordered take out. It is a great find for hungry stomach . Portion is big! The spicy chicken is tasty but it was a bit too saucy for me. Fried rice were well stir fried with rich ingredients!! For dining exp, the restaurant is spacious and looks clean. The lighting could be brighter for an Asian diner , but acceptable.
This has been a long standing favorite among extended family, they have talked about it for years and I finally got to try it. They did not disappoint. It was a charming little restaurant with the friendliest lady running it. She has such a kind and welcoming smile. The food visually is beautiful. Presented with fresh flowers for garnish, it's almost too pretty to eat. The hot and sour soup was perfectly spiced, everything was delicious. I can't wait to go back.
