Summary: The good old teriyaki chicken and other protein that we know and love! They're still standing after the pandemic as other food court places have shut down. Prices start at $8.09 for chicken teriyaki and portions are smaller. Still taste good though. Malls aren't complete without Sarku Japan and I'm really happy to see that this one is still around at the Rockaway mall. Inflation sucks and I definitely saw it with the increase in prices vs the portion sizes that Sarku offers now. The chicken teriyaki is still my favorite. Choose between chicken, beef, and other protein. Prices vary depending on the protein type. Then choose white rice, fried rice, or lo mein. Veggies or no veggies, just let them know. And then you gotta ask for extra sauce at the end! They also have sushi but I wouldn't recommend it. I still love Sarku Japan but am sad that the portions are smaller for the increase in price.

I can’t complain. Every time I eat here I’m happy with the food, never had a bad experience at all. Sure it’s expensive and the portions are smaller than they used to be, but that’s every place in the past few years. Not sure why there are so many other low star reviews

Gluten free! Katie and Jake were the dynamic duo today for my friend and I. I felt so safe eating here, with having celiac. She informed me about my meal and explained it throughly. I will definitely be back:) Very tasty!

Really good Chicken Teriyaki. I was surprised for a chain how good the chicken was. It tasted really fresh and was grilled crispy and juicy with teriyaki sauce on it. Noodles are good , veggies are fresh steamed. The fried rice is super awesome with egg in it like it should be. The spicy Tofu is definitely spicy but has good flavors. The restaurant is not that big. Maybe 6 or 7 small tables it seems it would fill up quick but service was fast. I would stop back when I’m in the area and try some other items.

I’m trying to eat healthier of late as a result of recent cardiac issues. Someone told me about Poke Cafe. Tonight we tried it and we are both glad we did. The food is tasty and maximizes it’s “clean” attributes. I am a big eater and found my spicy salmon bowl was all I needed to eat for dinner. Yes, there are raw seafood items on the menu, but the vast majority of the dishes are cooked protein(s) together with rice and vegetables. For picky eaters, you can design your own dish. This restaurant will be a keeper for us. Because Americans have eaten too much fat and calorie-laden food, I’m referring to this cuisine as our food of the future. Maybe you should too. (FYI-Poke is a traditional Hawaiian dish made from the leftover seafood the fishermen caught that day mixed with sauces and modest embellishments-It is loved by Hawaiians everywhere) FYI-Closed Mondays.

I just got a poke bowl here for the first and the staff was so nice and welcoming!! I’m typing this as I eat my bowl and I can say this is the best poke I’ve ever had! Definitely will be coming back again real soon.

We had an incredible experience at this branch of Cheesecake Factory! We ordered the *crab bites* and *cheeseburger spring rolls* to start, and they were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we indulged in the *ultimate red velvet cheesecake* and the *Oreo cheesecake*, and both were heavenly. The red velvet was rich and decadent with the perfect balance of cream cheese frosting, while the Oreo cheesecake was a chocolate lover's dream! The portions were generous, the service was outstanding, and the ambience made for a perfect dining experience. This visit reminded us why The Cheesecake Factory is such a classic favorite. Highly recommend!

Everything is great about cheesecake factory and we love being here. Atmosphere, food, service and their cakes are all perfect. I like to try new things everytime I visit but I dig their egg rolls and the sauce they serve with it. This restaurant is located in a somewhat dull mall but good that it's right at the entrance so you don't have to wander through the dullness lol.

You can't sit down and eat in the place. Take out only. Not very happy about that. Food is mediocre. But it's nearby and we like Chinese so they get our business.

Great food, been coming here almost 20 years. Now you can buy delicious juicy watermelon 🍉 here only $5 for a tall overpacked container!

GREAT Restaurant. I'll be back regularly. Been wanting to try this place for years. It's clean and bright and always very busy and the people behind the counter are always very when I do deliveries from this place. I had vegetable lo mein which was above and beyond amazing. I had beef lo mein and a little beef strips were a little chewy but the taste was great and still lots of veggies and it was yummy. And I had beef with broccoli and all the beef was a little chewy. Everything was very much within the range of great. Get the beef perfect next time and I'll give you five stars 🤩

NYC style Chinese food in Rochester. I had the tofu with mixed veggies. Perfect!

Great food huge portions and great service! Fastest real food you’ll ever get. Oh, and they have real Dim Sum type dishes!! Other reviews mentioning bad service I don’t understand, do you want them to wine and dine you when you call to place a pick up order? They’re efficient and accurate. They are also hard working and trustworthy! Thank you for feeding us, Lin’s Garden🙏🏼

Do not judge a book by its cover!!!! This Chinese restaurant is primarily for pick up or delivery. There are a few tables and chairs if you want to eat there. But the real issue here is the food and it’s amazing. I grew up in NYC and ate in china town at least once a week so I know what I am talking about. The people who work there are polite and friendly and the food is amazingly good

Ty was absolutely fantastic! His energy was contagious and made our dining experience so much fun. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find a server as enthusiastic and personable as Ty—definitely made our visit memorable. We’ll be back for sure!

Came here after shopping as I haven’t been here before. The waiter was wonderful and super helpful. Both the peach boba and the pomegranate lemonade were phenomenal. The lemonade was a bit sweet but super refreshing! The egg drop soup was DELICIOUS. It was a decent size as well. I also got the wonton soup and that was okay. Wasn’t crazy for the shrimp or the white squares. Couldn’t identify what it was. My brother said it was some sort of beet? I ordered the terriyaki chicken with lo mein. Let me say I was disappointed. Shame on me for not looking up pictures first. I was expecting slices of chicken with teriyaki sauce. This chicken to me was like an orange or sesame chicken both of which I’m not crazy about. I didn’t really like coating of it. I did ask to put mushrooms and they seem a bit undercooked. The sauce to me didn’t taste like your normal teriyaki sauce. The lo mein was okay nothing special. My brother got the Mongolian beef bowl and that was actually pretty good. I liked it more than my dish. We skipped on dessert. Overall I wouldn’t come here again. I was disappointed with the food but the service was great.

Fresh , professional sushi. Dine in or takeout the sushi is always awesome , they also have good Chinese food. Highly Recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I have tried to find it as good elsewhere and cannot. I’ve been going here for years when I’m in the area. Always good service too.

They have Chinese/Cantonese menu and a Japanese menu. The Chinese one has the regular Chinese items with some dumplings and lunch special items. While the Japanese is all sushi menu and teriyaki. It’s a small quick joint, I ordered chicken and broccoli small. Perfect size portion, taste is good. The service was fast enough, 15 min max. The dine in is good.
