TIS PLACE IS TRASH My first time ordering. I'm very upset 😡. I spend all that money on tasteless, poorly prepared, waste of food! I ordered fried shrimp as the main dish and a pint of fried rice with shrimp on the side with a veggie roll. Why did I get all these tiny, poop-backed shrimps with a load of tasteless dry rice with a bunch of onions? Not even a frozen pea or carrot in site. Then, to set my off, the veggie eggroll is BLAND!!!! WHYYYY?! The red stuff is seasoning i put on it. Never order from here again. Y'all got my chopped

Incredibly delicious food, huge portions for the price, and a family that is very friendly. I have been coming here for a decade, and the food is always so consistently tasty. Nothing else in Rochester can compare. The pork fried dumplings, spicy garlic shrimp, and pork fried rice is some of the best food I have ever eaten! If your order totals a certain amount, (~$50) they always are kind enough to throw in free drinks; delicious homemade lemonade, or one of their many two liter soda options. One downside though you should know; you must pay with CASH ONLY. They do not accept credit cards, and certainly not crypto.

I haven't ordered Chinese in at least a year and will say, I decided to take a chance since it was close, and I'm glad I did! Delivery was fast, communication was good, and food was exceptional, I ordered veggie lo mein and general tso chicken combination platter. Price was good and portions were good! However this the the only time in my life I ordered Chinese food and didn't get a fortune cookie 🤣

After a long day at the Rochester General Hospital, was craving some Chinese food. While it's definitely tailored to American Chinese, it was very good and affordable compared to what I get in Seattle. Large portion sizes and free steamed rice with most dishes! Please note that they don't have indoor seating, it's take away only. We ordered the home style garlic sauce tofu and human chicken. Both were served with a large (to me) size steamed rice. Full of vegetables and sauce. Definitely recommend and we will be back for more. We are curious about the chicken and bananas 😆

Stopped by Mr Goody's restaurant on a whim. Did not look like much from the outside. But it's what's on the inside that counts. Wonderful food served the way food was meant to be served. Old diner atmosphere. Was thoroughly pleased the food, with the staff, and with the price. I will definitely be stopping back.

classic homestyle food. Come check this spot out people. Their breakfast and lunch is great. The waiter was nice, and an overall nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Poor customer service!! I went in To order a plate with my wife and saw they had Pasteles and decided I wanted one with pork. I then asked the girl(who was very nice)serving us for this; as she was proceeding to serve what I asked for, another employee from a room out of customer sight proceeds to ask the girl what she was doing and very rudely says ‘you can’t do that. It has to be a meal because it counts as 2 meats’ so I proceed to say it is ok I’ll pay for them separate because I do not want rice. The employee then proceeds to say ‘No it doesn’t work that way. We can’t sell it to you separate’, and as she says this her tone and body language were dismissive and just nasty. I then tell the young lady serving us that I no longer want the items and that I would just pay for my wife’s food. As this is going on the other employee is just making nasty faces behind the counter and begins talking to another employee about the incident. So as we are about to leave I informed her I did not appreciate how she handled the situation and made me uncomfortable as a customer. She then proceeds to start trying a back and forth match to which I responded ‘I am not going to argue with you but the way you handled that situation was uncalled for. As this was going on no other employee spoke up to rectify the situation or just even apologize for the inconvenience and explain their policy. There food is wonderful but what is the point when your employees are not aware that a customer will have requests and there is a PROPER way to handle it when it goes against store policy. I do not appreciate being treated as a hassle or as if I’m not worthy of respect or even the other employee who was doing a good job. I hope that on the future your employees VALUE the customers because without us your restaurant would not be possible. SUPPLY AND DEMAND 101!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Gourmet Hots! The menu is packed with unique and creative options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The signature hot dogs are next-level, with high-quality ingredients and toppings that are both inventive and satisfying. The staff was friendly and helpful, making great recommendations and ensuring we had a fantastic experience. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with a cool vibe that makes it perfect for a casual meal or hanging out with friends. If you’re a fan of bold flavors and great service, you have to check out Gourmet Hots. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Called to reserve a table for yesterday. The man was at first confused, but he then understood the assignment. He took down my name as John and then when asked, he recommended a reservation of 100 people. He then said that he could reserve the table for any day, every day, whenever I wanted. Such kindness needs to be more prevalent across the restaurant landscape in Rochester. Honestly 2π/5 experience, would recommend to all of my 99 friends.

I've gone to King Food for over 10 years and never had any issues until now. The last time I went, I discovered a piece of a Brillo pad in my food while eating. I don't go often but will address this with them the next time I go.

Been eating here for 15 years I don’t ever go anywhere else, the best Chinese food you can get, especially for the price. & they never get your order wrong either
