I recently attended a sushi event at this restaurant, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Although it was my first time there, I definitely plan to return. The flavors were well-balanced, the sushi was prepared well, and the service was attentive. On a side note, they also served the best version of sweet and sour soup I’ve ever had.

Cali roll wasn’t as good as I’d expected. The gyoza was ok , nothing too crazy. Mongolian steak was a 6/10 (which is good for me). Tried my friend’s dish which consisted of steak, stir fried vegetables and a side of rice. The steak was brought out then mixed in with the vegetables. Steak by itself was probably the worst steak for a restaurant standard and the rice was also not to my liking. Waiter forgot to give us knifes and forks but other than that he was nice. Overall a 5/10.

So I wanted to try this Chinese restaurant for the 1st time bc it's on the way home from work...and that will be the only time I order from there again!!! 1st off they only except cash payments. The menu from online is NOT up to date bc it cost me $20 more than calculated. Then when I showed up to pick up my order the restaurant was dingy and freezing cold with NO HEAT! The staff was bundled in layers...the place seems like this place could have been an illegal restaurant or something. As for the quality of the food, that was also very disappointing the food was bland, underseasoned, the fried rice was actually white....I don't suggest anyone new or just traveling through to waste their money here.

Always fast. Best crab rangoon in the 518. Wonton soup is awesome. Fried chicken wings are huge. Never messed an order up or forgot anything. Hidden gem.

Not only is this the best Chinese food in the area, but they actually listened. You have no idea how many times I have gone in to a Chinese place and asked for extra spicy. Not spicy for mayo, loving individuals, but actually spicy. They delivered! Not only was it delicious, but the heat built over time, and I actually needed a drink to cool down! This place made me so happy!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Food is great. Delivery is fast and free. Location is small not really a dine in option but very clean and some seating.

The food was delicious and the price definitely worth it. I had it delivered and the driver was very nice I tip $5 . Homemade Sweet Tea 10 out of 10. Broccoli and Shrimp 10 out of 10. Crab Rangoon 7 out of 10 only because I don’t like sweet Crab Rangoon. I like the original cream cheese taste, and it was not crispy it was more of a soft dough.

Best Chinese spot in Troy! Hands down. We eat at least once a week. Very clean. And staff is very friendly. Prices aren’t bad for the amount of food you get!

We went by to get a takeaway. It was quite cold outside, but the owner was very kind and offered us to wait inside and even brought us tea to warm us up while we waited. He was very considerate of our needs. The food was good and portion sizes were large. Plenty of rice with the dishes as well. The spice level was good, a little zing to it without blowing your head off. I would get it again!

This has to be the absolute worst take you I have ever gotten. The order was either undercooked in some cases and over cooked in other items. The pork fried rice had a giant hole in the top of the container , spoiled all over the bag and had about as much flavor as a piece of cardboard. The steamed wontons where slimy looking and had little taste to them. The lomain had an almost a chemical taste to it. The egg rolls were burnt. The wonton soup was black had literally 3 wontons in it and if that be the case and it was a qt size I can only imagine how bad they are trying to rob there customers on the pt size. Over all I give this a 1 star and trust me if I could they would get a negative 5*

Review for Plum Blossom Restaurant I recently visited Plum Blossom Restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The calamari was not tasty—it lacked flavor and wasn’t fried well or crispy as expected. It felt soggy and underwhelming. The chicken and shrimp spicy dish was another letdown. Despite being labeled as spicy, it had no heat or kick to it, making the dish bland and uninspiring. Lastly, the Pad Thai was simply not enjoyable. It lacked the authentic flavor and balance that this dish is known for. Overall, the food fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend these dishes based on my experience.

Great Chinese food served by friendly staff and surroundings that please the eye. I had the General Tso chicken which was superb, tender and beautifully served with pork fried rice. Also came with a bowl of delicious Hot and Sour Soup. If you love Chinese, try Plum Blossom.

My fiancé and I order food from here quite frequently, and usually we have no issue but last night was a different story. We ordered a general tsos combo and a sesame chicken combo along with steamed dumplings. The dumplings were fine. Our chicken was not only burnt and old, it was literally the same general tsos sauce on both instead of the peanut sauce, with sesame seeds thrown on top of one. The broccoli was so old it was wrinkled and dry. When I called to complain after throwing up after one bite, the woman on the phone was incredibly rude saying how it was impossible that I had those issues, basically discrediting every issue I had. When I asked for my money back, she would only give me a credit for our next experience there. Which honestly I will not be going back. Also when I say the charges on my card, and compared them to the menu they have posted online (again being told their menu isn’t online even though it is listed here lol) im basically berated by the same rude woman yet again. I don’t mind a price increase, but maybe they should not lie and blatantly treat their frequent flyers like absolute trash. Thanks for the food poisoning, lee sun. Your establishment is absolutely disgusting anyways. We use to order from you every other week, but not now. Really disrespectful staff, and really piss poor food. I’d rather eat the gum off of the bottom of my shoe than ever to return to this dump.

I recently started ordering the sesame chicken combo and omg, it was sooo good. I use to order it but the chicken was tough and it was blah, but now it has a little spice and the chicken was so tender. Love it!

Wanted to explore dinner place in Rensselaer, saw this Asian Bistro. They had huge menu, it was exciting but overwhelming at same time. So tried different food, the roll that we order didn’t look really appetizing and also the tum yum soup didn’t taste like Tom yum. However, the Thai basil chicken and salmon carpaccio were really good. I ordered scorpion bowl for drinks, it was large but I enjoyed it. Server was very polite and patience, we liked her. First drink order was taken by 1 server who seem to be in rush, but later another young lady with smiling attitude came and her attitude and service were 5 ⭐️. Again, will be coming back as I live near by and also recommend!

I remember this place from my youth as the East greenbush diner...nice to see new life in its place! This was my first time here- and I will be back!! The service was swift and polite (impressive even- our waitress wrote nothing down- but remembered our party of 5 order brilliantly!!) the food was freshly prepared and served piping hot. (The menu has SO many options- including vegan- as one of our party is) Portions were generous without being huge, we all left with doggie bags. Pricing was more than appropriate. Restaurant is clean- and there is a wheelchair ramp for accessibility for all!!

Traveled about a half hour to try something new other than what we usually have in town .Very decent place if your a sushi fan. Definitely get your moneys worth for lunch. Loved that they had muscles for lunch! they tasted great and fresh . The crab rangoons were also a hit on the list of things they offered, also pork ribs super yum along with bourbon chicken. Overall pretty good for my first time here. Out of all the Chinese lunch buffets I would say this is my favorite. Definitely would return. 8/10 and cant beat the price . If your in the mood for lunch, Show up an hour after it opens and im pretty sure you will be pleased. Waitress was always filling drinks in a timely fashion and pleasant. Very clean !

Very attentive servers, drink remained full the whole time, empty plates were taken almost immediately. Food was all hot and tasted pretty good. Good price too so much cheaper than most buffets in the area. Well worth the drive out.

First time here, but I was hopeful after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic. The best Chinese takeout we've had.

Beef and broccoli was delicious but the crab rangoon was the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. So don’t order those because you barely get any food.

Was not informed over the phone about cash transactions only. Arrived there was given attitude for not having cash. Left the establishment to go across the way to get cash from an ATM where I was charged a service fee then was told I was a liar and that I was informed it was communicated it was cash only. If that was the case I would of canceled the order but I was an adult about the situation got the cash and returned to get my food and was then pressured into leaving a tip as if I didn't just have to go out of my way to purchase this food. I will not dine here again.

I'm not sure if they gave me the wrong order. But what I ate was a no way sesame chicken. I read it that two stars and that's being generous And they don't take cards only cash

Last time I ate here got extremely sick from food poisoning, both ends for 24hrs. Next day was so lethargic and weak. Knew immediately something was wrong when my stomach was hard and felt nauseous about 1 hour or so after eating. Had to be old crab rangoon meat that was sitting out then fried making it seem fresh. They gave a full refund, but the experience ruined Chinese food me for a long time

Rarely do I give a place one star, but this place earned it. I went for lunch, it was not busy and I ordered the General Tso's chicken with white rice. Add a can of Pepsi and the total cost was $7. Not bad. The food arrived fast and hot and looked okay so I was hopeful. The counter women was not very friendly, but I was looking for a good lunch not a friend. The rice was terrible and tasted like instant rice. The chicken was awful and I actually spit it out (into my napkin of course) I bit into a few other pieces in case I had a bad one but they all were terrible. The flavor was not right at all. Do yourself a favor and go up the street to 'A Dragon' instead. They are excellent.
