Fusion Tavern
Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is contemporary tavern. A family owned and operated venue dedicated to a typical tavern style menu with more than a few unique twists showing the "fusion" concept of food preparation. Owner / Chef Elmer, and his partner & nephew Dennis are life long restauranteurs dedicated to obviously high quality standards of product and service. They offer a 'specials" menu along with their regular well balanced daily offerings. "Happy Hour" is promoted Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 6 pm, and includes heavily discointed Margheritas and bottled beers. A home baked pizza crust style bread with a cheese topping is served with an an excellent home made hot marinara sauce for dipping prior to the meal - a benefit that is too frequently not included at most other restaurants. We both also had a "Claus Mule" before dinner, unique and excellent.. I had a special Haddock entree, cooked properly with a baked-finished brown outer layer over orzo, with grilled asparagus, presented beautifully. The wife had the meatball appetizer with polenta, ricotta, and a generous amount of freshly shaved parmesan cheese, also very good and presented beautifully. Both of our meals were nice sized servings and we had food to take home. They offer a small selection of bottled beers, and a well rounded list of interesting cocktails, one of which is the 'Claus Mule" made with a berry puree that was fantastic! I also had a "Tavern Coffee' that was an unusual dessert coffee with a unique creamy consistency due to the addition of Bailey's Irish Cream and it was quite potent. All of the food and service was excellent and the prices were fair and competitive. I'd consider this place a rare gem, and a great date place as well as a top quality dinner experience. We will most certainly return soon!
This place was awesome! Super cute, small town. Staff was really, really nice and sweet. I switched my drink out, no issues, just asked what was wrong and talked to bar tender about it. Again, super sweet. Virgin shirley temple was flat and had lots of syrup. Didn't get charged when switched to coke. Food was good. Sending pics. Loved it all. Atmosphere was so cool and cozy. Loved, would go here for a date. Also, 9 minutes from an apple picking orchard with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, cidery, yummy food, and hay rides. Best places to be.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
The food here is excellent! We had delicious food and the portions were very generous. The family that runs the restaurant is so nice as well!
Joey and Yu, the owners/chefs have become dear friends along with their two lovely daughters! The always fresh dishes including "homemade" egg and spring rolls are topnotch! Highly recommended on all areas!!
Pleasant Ridge Pizzeria
Their food is so delicious!! A couple weeks ago we ordered some pizzas to go and everyone loved it — the pizza was crispy, light and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. We dined in last Saturday and ordered the chicken parmigiana and lasagna - it was so good and reasonable prices. Also, I have to mention they have great, friendly and accommodating staff! I am so impressed with their dinners and pizza. We’ll be back!
This place is disgusting. The pizza we ordered was soggy, the garlic knots tasted like they’d been reheated numerous times and the fish was poorly prepared and also very soggy. Do not waste your money here.
