Number One Chinese Restaurant
Several dishes were ordered and not one of them was good. Not one of the dishes were flavorful. The egg rolls had a very thick outside and no flavor. The place was not very clean either, dust in many places. It appeared ramshackle. I could not see into the kitchen though so hopefully that was clean. I would not recommend this place.
Only do take out so I’ve left atmosphere blank. But their Chinese food is the best in Oneonta The owners are lovely!! Portions are large.
China 19
Came here for the first time, noticing the large sign and the large seating area while driving by at night. We had the Pu Pu Platter, which was a good amount of food. For the main entrees, we had Heavenly Scallops with pork fried rice, egg roll and hot and sour soup; Pepper Steak with fried rice and veggies egg roll with wonton soup and a Mango bubble tea with Mango popping pearls for a drink. The dinner specials were a good price point, and they offered poke bowls as well as sushi. It's worth going back to try other menu items. Quite a bite of a wait, and the waiter had forgotten out soups, but did offer an extra soup. In all, we couldn't finish everything we ordered, but the leftovers were just as great.
I’ve never in my life have had such flavorless Chinese food. The rice was so pale and had zero in the flavor department who’s running this place? I could done this at home and added some soy and pretended this was Chinese food save your money because this place is not where it’s at.
Hunan Gourmet
We came here after the restaurant we wanted to go in the area was closed. The food is very affordable, but a bite on the salty side, but otherwise, the portion size and price point was unbeatable. We had the shrimp with lobster sauce with pork fried rice, egg roll, and wonton soup and also the orange beef with pork fried rice, egg roll, and hot and sour soup. They offered us some hot tea, which was nice to balance the meal.
A long-standing restaurant of Oneonta that has survived and flourished over the years. For some of the meals they offer family style dish sharing options. Always willing to adapt their menu to suit the customers choice some items that are marked hot can be asked to have the heat removed whereas in Reverse you can add heat to just about any item. Very nice family-oriented and family ran establishment
