The door creaked as I entered, a sad groan that mirrored the weight in my chest. The cashier, a hollow-eyed man with the expression of someone who has seen too much yet never enough, barely acknowledged me. I ordered a large pepperoni, a meal meant to fill the void, though I knew it never could. I sat alone, staring at the cheap plastic table, tracing the scratches left by those who had come before me—ghosts of past customers, each mark a testament to their own silent battles. The air smelled of melted cheese and mild disappointment. A child cried in the corner. His mother stared blankly ahead, chewing without passion. When my pizza arrived, I felt nothing. It was warm, sure. The crust had a decent crunch, the cheese stretched in obedient strings, the pepperoni curled like a sneer. But with every bite, I tasted something more—regret, lost time, the crushing realization that no matter how much I consumed, I would never truly be full. A man walked past the window outside, his face gaunt, his coat tattered. He peered in for a moment, eyes empty, then shuffled away. I wanted to call out, to tell him it wasn’t worth it, that nothing in here could save him. But I remained silent, just like everyone else. I finished my meal, paid my bill, and stepped back into the cold night. The neon light flickered one last time as I walked away, disappearing into the dark. Five stars. Good pizza

If you're looking for a hometown pizza place, this is it. My wife is bragged about this place for years.We come back to our hometown and there.It is ron's pizza. The crust was really good and I absolutely love the sauce. Just the right amount of toppings not to overwhelm it. Great job keep it up.

I’ve lived in Mount Vernon for all my life and have found this place to be one of the best. The only thing I wish they still did was delivery. The food is always good. The service has always been accommodating when they did delivery. And even when I barely had the money to pay for food they still provided service. For me this restaurant has a special place in my heart.

Wings are overcooked and dry so I had to throw it away. They cut up the wings when you ask them not to. Eat at your own risk. I need a new spot.

The perfect chicken broccoli! Everything melts In your mouth and not over salted.

The beef is tough. The chicken like in the chicken and broccoli and in the fried rice taste as if it is soaked in water and proceeded ( not good at all). The shrimp egg foo young was good shrimp fried rice good. The fried seafood also has a funny texture as if soaked in water and mushy. Fried chicken wing at good.

I have been going to this restaurant for close to 10 years best restaurant in mount vernon. The new owners brought the restaurant years ago and the food is still great.

Very rude complains and CHARGES FOR …simply separating chicken from Lomein !! I don’t like soggy. Chicken !! I asked for it in a bag she slams everything around (the lady that takes orders ) NEVER ORDERING HERE AGAIN & on top of that she tried to charge $3 more for simple separation of chicken

WOW the cashew or sweet and sour lunch special during the week is under $7. I tried the General chicken and when asked how spicy, I chose medium. It was the perfect heat as it was not overly spicy. There is a good amount of ginger in the dish, but I'm a big fan of ginger and enjoyed the General Chicken. Building is a little run down, but I would definitely come back for lunch.

Panda House was amazing. Food was delicious, served fresh and was very hot. Portion sizes were awesome. They were very kind people and I'd definitely recommend this a go to for any couple or family looking for a good meal. Will be returning.

Although Dirkos is more on the expensive side it is always worth it. Load up all the pizzas with toppings. My family and I love the BLT Pizza most. The meat lovers is also great. All the sides are pretty good. I do prefer to order the wings well done, i feel they are not typically crispy enough. The subs are decent as well. I personally have never had the Stromboli but I've always heard great things about it.

This is a mom&pop take out one a conventional corner. It is Stallings size but BIG in taste. I stopped here on a whim, just to "see" what they had to offer. I knew I was going to order SOMETHING before I went in be abuse it smelled SO GOOD even from outside. Business was steady but it still only took 15 min for my counter order of a medium Stromboli with marina sauce. It was exactly the right amount for two of us with the ends left over to go with a salad tonight. I try to remember to take pictures and I did of the store while waiting for my order but I totally forgot when it arrived. It looked so good we had to eat as soon as we finished Thanking God. I have traveled in Italy and give this a rating as authentic flavor although I can't remember which province... I did not ask about bathrooms and honestly it was too small for my friend's motorized scooter to get in. It really is designed for takeout or delivery. With only a $2 delivery fee if your total order exceeds $15 and is within a 7 mile radius, I would call it handicapped accessible. I can strongly recommend Dirko's. Next time I plan to get the lasagna!

Best Pork Foo Young Ever. Everything was very good and portion was generous. The server was very nice. I really enjoy the food, Highly recommended if you're looking for Chinese food around the area.

We were greeted by friendly staff right when walked through the door, the food was delicious and great prices. So glad we decided to try this restaurant

So, my wife ordered house special ho fun, almond chicken, one cup of steamed rice, and extra almond chicken gravy. For delivery, to surprise me after work with my favorite chicken dish after work. The amount of "extra" sauce was less than what is normally given for an order if you sit down with no extra asked for. The kick in the pants, was she tipped 10 bucks on top of their price. Joke is on this company, I am going to dispute the charges with the bank. Incomplete order, no pay no tip.

The MOST amazing restaurant Skagit County has to offer! Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food --- and the customer service is off the charts PHENOMENAL! If you happen to be helped by a lovely woman named Fiona- you are especially lucky! She has a heart of gold and goes above and beyond for her customers. If I could give a higher rating than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five stars, I absolutely would. Check Fortune out as soon as you can! 😊

A lovely hidden gem next to a bowling alley. Service was attentive, professional and just the right blend of taking care of the table while giving space for us to enjoy. Almond fried chicken and Mongolian beef definitely worth presence at the table. Both soups were prepared well, traditional, balanced and served in cups that keep them hot. Also, v nice touch to begin our lunch with complimentary hot tea service, served just after being seated on a cold, rainy day. Would love to return for dinner when the full menu is offered, but certainly happy with the lunch specials. The prices are more than fair considering the portions, and we took a ton of food home. So fun to find a spot like this... Simple yet delicious and definitely memorable enough to come back again. Thanks for the great meal 🙏

I was hungry for Chinese food so I decided to stop in the Dragon Inn Restaurant, first time here. Upon arrival, it looked pretty shady, since the entrance wasn't really visible or clear, but I was pleasantly surprised with the interior design. To top it off, there were bible verses and christian music playing in the restaurant, which took me by an even bigger surprise! I totally love it!!! Food was top tier, I got egg rolls and shrimp friend rice, very tasty. My server, John was fast to seat me, serve my food, & made sure I was good for the time I ate here. Definitely recommend this place and I will be back for more. 5 star ⭐

I returned the food after tasting how nasty and fake it was. The lady didn't wanna give me a full refund because she said I tasted her chicken and and used her ketchup lol 😆 😅 PLEASE don't buy from them. There are other Chinese takeout around the area that is way better that them. Their food taste like a$$ for real.

This place is great. I don't understand all the negative reviews, honestly. Just had an order of boneless spare ribs, pork fried rice, and pork dumplings and it was delicious. This place is great!!

I was passing through on my way to Kalahari water park and decided to give this place a chance. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious- and more than fairly priced (like lots of options under even $12). I’ve had Indian food at about 5 different places now, and this has been mine and my boyfriend’s favorite of all! The atmosphere is very cozy and you can tell the owners are truly passionate about making both delicious food and happy customers. I loved everything about this place and definitely plan on coming back next time I’m in town! The locals seemed to really enjoy it too. :) Lots of take out orders and friendly faces.

Absolutely amazing. Authentic recipes and satisfying flavors. We sampled several items and every single one of them were excellent. This family owned an operated business put a lot of heart and soul into their food. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing meal.

My husband and I met some friends here a few days ago. We all shared the warm table bread and skipped on appetizers. I ordered a Babe's Mule. It was a decent cocktail. For dinner, I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and my husband got the Fettuccine Alfredo. We both added chicken to our pasta dishes. Overall everything looked and tasted great. The server was kind as well. I would definitely eat here again.

My son had the full chicken parmesian and I had the half portion. I was full and he couldn't finish his. He and I agreed it was delicious. Busy but not full on a Sunday afternoon, so you can get in quickly. Service was attentive and food arrived quickly.
