This is our first visit. The atmosphere immediately calmed me. The lighting is private in character. The service is kind, respectful and knowledgeable. Wonderful. The food is very different to me, but well worth it.

What a hidden gem! Service was personal and attentive without being intrusive. Artichoke appetizer was the best I’ve ever had. Pollo Martini was delicious. Even the broccoli was blast above average. Coconut gelato made a perfect ending. This one is worth a drive for the experience. A memorable experience to be sure.

This is a seasonal restaurant open during the summer months always good to check first. Its worth the wait Try the chicken broccoli, chicken sandwiches or better yet get a steak. Enjoy asmuch as i did ps give yourself a little time because this place rocks and everyone wants a piece go for lunch My advice show up hungry

“Egg drop-wonton soup” is egg drop soup “Fried rice” is yellow rice “Sesame chicken” is chicken with ketchup and sesame seeds Updated: they were very accommodating and switched me out to something edible. “Beware of sesame chicken though it’s ketchup sauce” Service was really great

We came with my family to this place to try baked rolls and it was an incredible pleasure, since we always ate these baked rolls in our city. We really missed this in New York, so we came here specifically for this, it was very tasty and I would come back to this place all the time.

Wow! I was very pleased that I chanced upon this spot. First off, the customer service is impeccable, makes you feel at home and welcome. So authentic and original. Pretty fair prices too! It's so unique. The menu is not your typical sushi menu, in a great way! Very cool selection. And most of all... the food is absolutely delicious! Definitely recommended!

We ordered pickup although we ate inside once and its small but clean! We had sweet & sour chicken, veggie and chicken lo mein, cheese wontons, white rice, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken. It was all very good! My favorite was the mild sesame chicken. We really like the light noodles with the Lo Mein they use. If I was to make a suggestion to the store I would say the fried rice needs bigger pieces of onion and a lot more egg and bean sprouts in it. It is much to plain compared to other fried rice we have had. It had flavor but needed a bit more to it. Also, the cream cheese wontons are tasty, but I would take out the sugar and just use cream cheese to be traditional wontons. TRY THE DONUTS!! They are so good!! Just like the homemade my Mom used to make. Thank you for a great Birthday dinner!! We will continue to make the 45 mn trip to eat there!

Always great food with great service. Love the drive up window to pick up your order. Their monthly specials are awesome. Great price to and lots of food.

We had no family in town for Christmas this year, so went here to eat Christmas night. Was busy, but everyone was working hard to get us a table. Owner and daughter were so sweet and the place was very festive with the music and decorations, as well as all of the wayward people enjoying their food. The food was hot and amazing! Thankful they were open.

Reservation for 11, then added another. The Asian Cafe team was quick and responsive to accommodate our party. It was wonderful since it was like a mini family reunion. And the food was absolutely excellent, everybody had a variety of things and loved everything. The plum wine is delicious 🤤 Our sever, Savannah, superb at her craft. Checked on us at the right times, and took great care of our large group.

This restaurant recently had an interior redesign and currently looks fantastic. The service is usually pretty good. Otherwise, it's a Burger King; if you're out for haute cuisine don't go here.

When we arrived at our hotel, the only thing open was fast food. We settled for Burger King. The Rodeo Burger was not very good. I asked for barbecue for my fries and of course had to ask for it again when I received my order because it was not in the bag. The parking lot is small and awkward. When I went to leave via the exit, a large semi was unloading its delivery and blocking the exit. I had to turn around and try to leave by way of the drive-thru lane. I would never eat here unless it was the only option.

First time visit here. Pleasant atmosphere and superb service. We arrived at dinnertime at 5pm on a Thursday. Promptly greeted and seated. Food selection was quite varied and looked fresh and full. Enjoyed sampling different items and sharing our comments as we ate. The Egg Fu Yung was delicious, the gravy just a bit too thin though for me. Eggs Rolls were great as was the Pepper Chicken. The Potstickers were fantastic. There are fresh Mongolian Grill items to chose from as well as a selection of Sushi. Very nice salad and dessert options too. So nice there is a Senior Discount too. The staff was warm and welcoming and we will be back.

Not a very good buffet. Sushi was good, rest of the food was poor. Food came out of the kitchen and was mush or dried out. Classic dishes were lacking flavor or not even close to industry normal. Did not ask the age of my 10 yr old and charged her as an adult. Will not be back.

Was supposed to be garlic sauce but it’s regular brown and broccoli hard as if they just warmed it up and put it in bowl sad definitely not the same fell off completely never eating again.

Food is top-notch! And the lady who took our order was so friendly and kind that I began to ascend to the furthest dimensions of the universe. I highly recommend this place without hesitation.

The food itself is one of the better Chinese food places in the county. The service is dreadfully annoying though. They always "forget" items and the prices are made up every time. How about including the egg rolls that are supposed to come with the combo? How about an itemized receipt? How about being the slightest bit pleasant, helpful, or understanding? Just know you're going to get ripped off one way or another here. Consider it a mandatory tip.

I always get shrimp and broccoli with black bean sauce and it is always excellent….way better than Chinese places on Long Island.

The food was good, but the service and atmosphere is what truly stood out to make this a great place! Wait staff was super friendly... Truly the nicest experienced in our trip to New York. I believe it to be one of the owners who came out. She told us about the "Italian" sandwich which we ordered for our daughter. She said that it probably isn't the type we were thinking of and when she saw my daughter didn't like it because it was so different... She came back with another "Italian" sandwich made in the way my daughter was used to at no extra cost! Wow, who does things like that anymore? Especially in New York! It truly stood out among all the restaurants we visited in our week of vacation, thank you! By the way, I ate that sandwich the next morning for breakfast... It was super delicious... Just different than what my daughter was used to for an "Italian".

For fresh and flavorful Asian cuisine on the go, Salt & Pepper on Broadway Monticello is a must-try. The friendly staff ensures a seamless takeout experience, and the minimal wait time is a plus. Don't worry about front parking; ample space is available in the back. Recommended for a delicious takeout meal! For the dining in please do not have high expectations, they use cheap silverware, still recommend.

Wan Bo Buffet

Here on a Wednesday. And I’m stating this because perhaps it’s better on a Friday or Saturday to have such great reviews? This place has 3.9 stars so I’m curious when the food would be almost a 4⭐️ because on Wednesday nights is not that great. If Google would do 1/2 ⭐️ I’d rate the food tonight at 2.5 ⭐️. Now I did find a few items that were better than the rest and I will list those so read on General Tao’s chicken was good but I have had better The chicken wings were great The tempura fried shrimp were tasty Everything else was either over cooked and mushy or was old and dried out. The chicken wings, ok I said I can eat these and be done until this lady in a scooter rolls up to the buffet and begins to bulls a scaled down version of the Egyptian pyramids. I’m guessing she stacked a good 30 wings on her plate. It was actually quite the site to see this being built and I’m estimating that she had at least 10” of chicken wing vertical height happening. Unfortunately for me they didn’t replace the wings, I guess in fear that one of the sphinx would be constructed next. I pickle around with small portions so not to be wasteful but there wasn’t any thing to be excited about and certainly nothing worthy of a 4 stars. Second plate in the waitress brings the check and says “thank you for coming”in a loud voice like I was old with the large outside the ear hearing aids, my grandpa used to wear and then ignores me the rest of the evening. Don’t you just hate that ugh. I don’t recommend eating here just look at the picture of the soup they had out. Again maybe on a weekend this is the place to be but I’d pass on this place during the week. So food 👎🏼 Service 👎🏼 Price for what was offered tonight 👎🏼 Happy eating

This place was very unexpected. The food was well seasoned and tasted fresh. There was nothing I tried that was bad. The sevice was also wonderful. Thr waitress was very friendly and kind. The only negative about this place was the decor. The restaurant could definitely use some TLC. The booths were old and falling apart. If the setup was better, this would be almost a 5 star.

This place was amazing. Great service from Yuki such a sweet soul. The manager Sarah had outstanding hospitality was very attentive to us and the restaurant in general she was on it. The chef kudos to him peaking duck was delicious thank you for a great dining experience.

The staff here are really attentive and the drinks are delicious. The food however is just ok. There was nothing that tasted bad but nothing stood out as amazing. For Asian food at this price, I'd expect fresh garlic, ginger, spices and herbs. The ambiance is amazing though. Beautiful bar area and dining room. But the food is far from fine dining.
