Food always is delicious, however the service is lacking. Our server was attentive but borderline rude. After my friend and I ordered the bigger soup and him seemingly disapproving of this decision he made it known. We had dined there before, we loved the egg drop soup, we each wanted a whole bowl. Then we were enjoying our food, my lychee martini was great, but as it got later we felt increasingly unwelcome. Our waiter even started singing a song within earshot of how we should go home to our families. It was not closing time and there were still other diners enjoying dinner, so was that really necessary? We were celebrating a birthday and ordered plenty, it just is not the level of hospitality I would expect from this establishment.

This has easily become my absolute favorite spot. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they take pride in their food and service. The staff is always so welcoming and attentive, making every dining experience a pleasant one. And the food? Oh my goodness, the food! It's consistently outstanding. We have our go-to favorites, of course. The General Tso's Shrimp is a must-try – perfectly crispy shrimp coated in that classic, flavorful sauce. And the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce is just divine, so tender and packed with that savory, slightly spicy garlic goodness. But we've also ventured beyond our staples and been equally impressed. The Fish in Chili Sauce is a fantastic choice if you like a bit of heat and incredibly flavorful fish. And the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce is another winner, rich and savory with perfectly cooked chicken. Honestly, everything we've tried at Ala Shanghai has been top-notch. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care they put into each dish. If you're craving authentic and delicious Chinese food with excellent service, do yourself a favor and check out Ala Shanghai. You won't be disappointed!

Thought we’d try ordering here again after some positive experiences in the past, we’ll go back to our usual place. Rock was found in our combination platter rice. Thankfully I wasn’t chewing hard but nearly chipped a tooth. My daughter ate her leftovers today and found a hair in it.

We ordered from J’s a few times just because it’s kind of out of our way from where we live. Every time it was great until this last time. I’m not sure what happened but we were both sick the next day. The General Tsos chicken was off. We picked up directly from the restaurant so it was fresh but I don’t know if we’ll order again.

This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Every time I am in the area, I will definitely be stopping here. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming. The prices are great and the food is even better! I got chicken lo mein and it was the best I’ve ever had, I’m not even exaggerating a little bit. My meal came with pork fried rice and an egg roll and it all was 11/10 spectacular! I absolutely recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back!

The food is so delicious and fresh. Got a combination platter and the fried rice and egg roll was amazing. I have been eating Chinese food for many years and this ranks at the top. The staff were the friendliest I have ever met at a take out Chinese restaurant. They topped the chart with their hospitality which I never saw before in a take out restaurant of any kind. HIGHLY recommend this place.

Delicious food, fast delivery, and fair prices. What's not to love? Everything is done with finesse at New Panda and it's a genuinely great business to support! Food is always high quality and hot when delivered, dry and wet batter fried food is crispy and not at all soggy, wonton soup is perfectly seasoned, fried rice has a perfect rice firmness!!! Incredible. Don't think twice about ordering from here!!!

My daughter and I got good same dish from them last Friday and hot deathly sick on it. Dr said it was definitely food poison. Never again we will eat there
