Wonder Life 我们川菜馆
Honestly, I don't even like Szechuan food but this place is INCREDIBLE. The meal starts out with complimentary appetizers of pickled cabbage and roasted peanuts with hot tea. These were incredible. Avoid the pods of fresh black peppercorns though, unless you want a numb mouth. We ordered spicy fish filet stew, dry pot of cauliflower, cold roast beef tongue in garlic and pepper sauce, stir-fried noodles with beef, boiled chicken in chili oil, shredded potato stir-fry salad, West Lake style beef soup 西湖牛肉羹 (cilantro, minced beef and eggs in soup), Kung Pao chicken. The beef noodles were AMAZING. The West Lake beef soup looked unassuming, but it was so warm and amazing too. We received the boiled chicken in chili oil, which was so tender and soft. The chili oil was not too spicy and it was very enjoyable. Honestly, this was the best meal we had in Brooklyn and we came upon it by accident!
Came here two times. Both time drbe food was okay. But quite over priced. The 1st time there was very little food. Also the pricing on the menus are wrong.

Authentic fuzhounese cuisine, the food were amazing and servers were very attentive. If I can give an extra star I would. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to try fuzhounese food. Delicious.
Disgusting, do you see the blood? Are you supposed to eat it like that?
Huang Ming Hing Kitchen
BEWARE!! This place is very unsanitary. Food is prepared on the floor. Owner is very unfriendly.
When i got my food it was the wrong order, the lady was arguing with me that that’s what I ordered, even I’m allergic to it. Then when I came back to get the correct order she asked for the food back, when I gave it back she put it on the side to give to someone else. I am disgusted with the service.
Donghai
I would like to give a negative rating if I could. I just had the worst time ever at this restaurant – seriously, they're practically scamming their customers. The prices on the menu and what they hit you with at the end? Totally different, like not even close. And when you question about it, they just shrug it off, blaming some outdated menu, and you still gotta fork over the new crazy prices. A dish that is marked to be $18 ends up costing me a whopping $45. What about the ingredients !? Definitely not fresh. I specifically checked with the waitress before I ordered the chicken soup, asking if it was made fresh in its own pot. What shows up? Reheated broth, smelling like day-old chicken. There's this lingering taste of leftover chicken that makes it the nastiest soup I've ever had. This whole experience wasn't just a letdown. It made me sick. How come this business can survive?
I had the pleasure of dining at Donghai, and it was truly a remarkable culinary experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a delightful evening. Let's talk about the food, which was an absolute highlight. Donghai's menu offers a tantalizing array of Chinese dishes, each one bursting with flavor and authenticity. I highly recommend trying their Peking Duck; it was a masterpiece of crispiness and succulence, expertly carved tableside. The service at Donghai was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They offered great suggestions and ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. The attention to detail and their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the evening. Portion sizes were generous, leaving us fully satisfied, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. In summary, Donghai is a shining gem in the world of Chinese cuisine. Whether you're a fan of traditional dishes or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of Donghai's delectable offerings. Highly recommended! --- Feel free to use this review as is or personalize it with your own specific experiences and details about the Donghai restaurant.

Chicken wings seasoned nicely and crunchy. Not overly salty, but they are sometimes depending on the days. Shrimp roll is usually good, crunchy, and tasty. Good majority of the time.
Food was good I Got 4pc wings and fried rice for $8 and couple of cents and veg egg rolls for a $1 and couple cents,ONLY COMPLAINT I said vegetarian egg roll but When I bit into it it had these almost red things that looked like meat ,Correct me if it’s not real meat (I choose not to eat it because I don’t know what meat it was and I didn’t want to accidentally eat pork due to my religion so I left it )
BK Asian Express
I’ve been in the neighborhood for a solid year and this spot is my go-to for American Chinese. The Black Pepper Chicken and Chicken and Broccoli are reliably delicious. Most importantly, they never skimp you on portions and they stay true to their affordable pricing. Highly recommend.
So let me just say the portion and the amount of stuff u get is a lot. I order on Ubereats. My first item was a combo of fried rice, spare rib tips and fried chicken. First of all I never seen this combo at a chinese resturant. It came up to $10.99 which is also not bad for three items. I also order french fries, fried chicken and it came up to $8.99 with a soda. Once again other Chinese stores you would have to pay for the soda separately. I might be wrong but to me this was a resonable price. Also they came in a plastic container which I was suprise by not a foam box. My only complaint wad the fried chicken was salty. It might have been the sauce that was added. However the fried chicken with ribs was not as salty. Also they didn't add no sauce in the bags beside ketchup. However the spare ribs had enough sauce and the fries.
Shun Deck
2024.08 good quality vs price is making it 4 star. Also they made regional food. Dessert is too sweet.
Always pass by this place so tonight is the first time trying it .Food was great but one of the staff was terrible ( the smallest skinny lady with glasses )… with terrible attitude complained us for not giving more tips. She specifically said “I should have not given you guys the table , since you only give 15%~~ “I give in minimum tips because there wasn’t much service !!! I had no intention of arguing but then she took it real personal when I just ask her , what did you just say ? Then she raise her voice and said I’m not talking about you … you can’t yell at me . I just questioned her , didn’t even raise my voice on her at all ..Why should you mandate me to give you more tips when I didn’t get the service I should have …. Like seriously … I’m the customer , you as a waitress , our respect should be mutual ~~ I don’t owe you anything , why should you give me attitude just because I gave you minimum tip … I’m paying for my own food and I did pay for you service which you barely give . PS Do Not go there unless you’re fine with bad customer service

This Fuzhou restaurant is truly a hidden treasure! The taste is amazing, every dish is amazing, the soup is rich and the ingredients are fresh, you will never forget it after eating it once. The boss is also very welcoming. Although the environment is not luxurious, it is clean and tidy. It feels like eating at a restaurant you often visit in your hometown. But I don’t know why the rating is so low, it’s really unreasonable! Maybe it’s because the location is a bit out of the way, or maybe it’s not publicized enough. But this is definitely a good restaurant worth a special trip to eat at. You will fall in love with it after eating there once. Highly recommended to all friends who like Fuzhou cuisine, don’t be scared by the ratings, come and try it for yourself, you will definitely not be disappointed!
Why have the dishes been updated again? It’s good👍
Double Fire Gourmet Inc 火火燒臘店
charged me $10 for a $7.50 meal. claims its because they gave me “better quality meat”. isn’t all your meat high quality? am a regular customer too, so i would know it’s supposed to be $7.50. food is very good but always overcharging for stuff
Rudest customer service ever. I went in wanting to order, the lady ignored me, instead she asked the man behind me what he wants. That man automatically cut the line and went in front of me. I left on the scene. Rather support other businesses than this one.
New Ming Fat
Seemed like a nice family Chinese stop. The chow mein was really oily and the half chicken was bland.
*I'd put no stars if possilbe* Just got in from trying to pick up food. I ordered food the total was a particular amount, and when I got there they asked for a higher price blaming the unchanged price online on an unsaid person. I told them it's their responsibility and that they should honor the price. The lady stayed quiet and gave me a portion of the food hoping I wouldn't notice it. I walked back and told her food was missing and she asked for the bag and threw what I paid back at me. Y'all don't have to be awesome, or even good.. it's not hard to just not-suck. y'all just suck.
Lady Chow Kitchen
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. An additional location is located in Manhattan. I ordered the hot and sour soup. It lacked taste and spice. The soup is only available in a pintsized container. The vegetable spring rolls had four to the order. They were plain and not with the usual crunch. The pork soup dumplings were six to the order and steamed. The dumplings were small and had little filling. The seafood pan fried noodles had a nice amount of noodles but the separate container of seafood was minimal with little taste. The shrimp and lobster sauce was in a watery sauce with little taste, too many peas and small shrimp. The fish filet congee was in a rice porridge with pieces of fish. The food was average in taste and flavor with prices higher than other restaurants with similar food.
Amazing food and such nice owners! In the heart of Brooklyn Chinatown, their food still stands out as you tell how much they care about the food they are putting out. Will make this a new staple for me and my family
Fresh Ibakery
1. Even though they sell 3 dishes+1 soup, but by around 12:30 most of the dishes are GONE (SOLD-OUT), & by around 1 pm only 2 or 3 dishes are left. 2. So if you walk to front & order duck over rice, the CHEF will grab SEPARATE pieces from the TRAY, & you will get mostly BONES. If you order roast pork over rice, he will pick SCRAPS from the TRAY, & you get mostly FATTY PORK. 3. Always see the CHEFs SMOKING in front of the store. 4. Most of the WOMEN working here are NICE & COURTEOUS, better than other bakeries around here.
Famous $7 lunch with choices of 3 different dishes and one cup of soup. Cantonese BBQ is very good too. Price is very reasonable. There is a bakery within.
