TOO SPICY. The Mild barely had any spicy so I decided to order medium INSTEAD THIS IS FULL ON EXTRA EXTRA SPICY. Which is my fault so next time I’ll just stick with mid like usual. There’s also a weird Bitter aftertaste and had not a lot of flavoring but full on spicy taste & feeling. This spice is the spice where your mouth is numb, lips can’t feel anything, you get an instant headache because how spicy it is. Online ordering options barely have the full menu like in person so it’s limited selection. I just suggest to lower the spicy and get mild, the options of food is great and this is great if you’re into spicy! They also give you rice for free to go with the dry pot. This is a great portion size for family to share!!

I called early for pick up the food. I spent 20 minutes to walk to the restaurant. They didn’t start doing my order until I arrived and yet it was a long wait time…..In additionally, they didn’t package the food properly, how do they expect me to hold the food without a bigger bag? They put my food in a bag that fits exactly for the container but no handle for me to hold. I asked the staff for a bigger bag, they gave me a garbage bag that stinks (it smells like a really strong bug spray or cleaning spray). It feels like they used the garbage bag and they reuse it by spraying some cleaning spray. When I was about to leave the staff said, “next time you need to request you want a box when you call in.” How would I know if they have a box or how’s there packaging like? But apparently if you want a packaging that’s good to hold for the take out food, they will put it in a box (it looks like the cake box). When I called they didn’t even offer or ask do you want your food in a box or bag. And why can’t they repack my food in the box on site when I ask for a bigger bag? The staff here are rude and disrespectful and inconsiderate. It’s disgusting how they put my food in a strong smelling garbage bag and I am never coming back here again.

Saturday, December 14th, I am visiting a friend's home, located in close proximity to a Chinese restaurant. My friend has highly recommended this establishment, citing its exceptional Chinese cuisine. Following their advice, I proceeded to the store and placed an order for sweet and sour chicken, accompanied by fried pork rice. Unfortunately, upon observation, I noticed that this Chinese business seemed somewhat unhygienic, and the tall Chinese gentleman appeared unusual. Although I received my ordered food, I observed that the cooking process was hurried, which did not inspire confidence. Additionally, the mission fried pork rice lacked essential ingredients such as onions, eggs, and vegetables, and contained only a small amount of pork. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants, the quality of food at this location was subpar. As a result, I do not plan to return to this establishment for food.

They were out of one of the side orders for the Bourbon Chicken, so I replaced it with something else. The food arrived early and the delivery person was polite. The food was a big disappointment. I'm not sure how they received such good reviews. I ordered vegetable chow mein. It was spicy as requested, but it was more like cole slaw than chow mein. There were exactly three broccoli florets in the entire dish. The rest was onions, celery, bean sprouts, and cabbage. The sauce (what there was of it) had weird dark brown gelatinous clumps in it that felt gross in my mouth and ruined my appetite. They also forgot the rice. The bourbon chicken was also pretty dry and the sides dishes (Mexican rice and mixed vegetables) were so bland I had to add salt and pepper on them. I won't be ordering from there again.

I ordered the General Tso's chicken. Honestly, for the taste and portion, it is quite good in value for some tradeoff in service and shop design. The taste is arguably decent-to-good, and it definitely does not stand out. However, the size is good for the price you are paying.

Eaten here since i was a child, always loved everything about this place. It may not be one of those fancy places rich people go to, but that's part of what makes it so special to me. Amazing food, what more is there. Best and most memorable restaurant I've ever had the honor of eating at.

I guess I should’ve checked the reviews before ordering food for delivery. The cheese wontons taste so bitter and the dipping sauce did not compliment or make it taste any better. Usually cheese wontons have a bit of sweetness to it..this was pretty bad. The general Tso chicken with rice was not good. The chicken fried rice was awfully BLAND and no taste. The sizes of the chicken pieces were questionable? Didn’t look like chicken and wasn’t crispy at ALL. Wasted my money but that’s common trying to find a good Chinese restaurant in NY!!

This fast food. Chinese food made for Americans. Inexpensive, quick, filling with good sized portions. If that’s what you are looking for then this around the corner restaurant will do fine. They offer space to sit down and eat in, takeout, or delivery. The place is small and you can see all the cooking happening in site as you stand at the counter.

The Panda Express makes awesome food which is decent, but this Panda Express atmosphere is unclean, and the staff are unprofessional. Jacob, in particular, is rude, unhygienic, and aggressive toward customers, even engaging in harassing behavior. The team's hostility and impatience are unacceptable. Immediate action is needed, starting with Jacob's dismissal.

I only ordered the vegetable rice and walnut shrimp and honey sesame chicken. Every time I order from here not only that is pretty pricey but they give you a little bit of food. You get 2 scoop of entree and two small scoops of for one scoop of meat. If you get any more than that probably favoritism. I tried not to come here as much cuz I feel like if I'm spending $15 my plate should look like $15. I noticed for $13-$19 I get more food buying from Chipotle.

I ordered general tso chicken it was delivered the chicken was spoiled. They told me bring it back for a refund. Instead of throwing it out when I got there she handed it to the cook. There was a guy who ordered a general tso at the same time I was returning mine. Idk...

It’s under new management/new owner, and there was a noticeable improvement in taste and quality. Still a good, standard Chinese fast food restaurant.

Just ordered scallops with 🧄 c sauce through GrubHub. This is what arrived. Had to separate the 5 tiny scallops from the sea of vegetables. This is a disaster. Will never order from again.

I've been a loyal customer of theirs for well over 6 years now and I have to say that their quality has not declined in the least over the years. I've gone into the restaurant since my last review where I solely experienced just their delivery service. Their delivery service is still quick and seamless. I've rarely experienced a super late order. My order is always correct and the wait time for delivery is always within a half hour and I live 10 blocks away, sometimes they're already ringing my doorbell 15 minutes after I called! Usually if they're running late, it's because they're slammed with deliveries so I don't fault them at all because it's a very rare occurrence, like maybe 3 times a year and I order from this place at least once every week. Today I stopped by for the first time since they opened back up post quarantine, and noticed they installed a huge plexiglass at the counter which is great. The interior of this place is a bit dilapidated but nonetheless appeared clean and tidy. Peering behind the counter and into the kitchen, the floors were clean of any debris or garbage. Seemed to me like a well run kitchen. At the counter, they've got a small slot where you place cash on a paper plate, they are not taking card so keep that in mind when stopping by. Wait time in person was approximately 15 minutes from entering to exiting. Overall, this place remains a great local Chinese food restaurant. Compared to others in the area, their food is less oily and tastes fresher. Highly recommend their fried chicken wings, shrimp fried rice, vegetable lomein, their fries are also good, shrimp with lobster sauce is always piping hot with jumbo sized shrimp. My brother loves their spare ribs and rib tips. Definitely check them out, and if they've made a mistake with you before, please consider giving them a second chance. I have not ordered anything from here that wasn't Chinese-American cuisine, and honestly, what do you expect if you order from the Mexican side of their menu? I'd pass on that because you're probably going to be disappointed. You should know better than to order Mexican food from a Chinese restaurant, like come on y'all, this isn't rocket science. Would you order a steak from a sushi restaurant? Just because you can doesn't mean you should, so don't order Mexican from a Chinese take out restaurant! NOTE: They are closed on Mondays! They're open Tuesday through Sunday 11 am to 10 pm. Their delivery hours for those days are from 11am until 9:30 pm!

After trying multiple places in Mill Basin, this place takes the cake! From their amazing scallion pancakes to the chicken with eggplant in garlic sauce, Spring Garden is the Best Chinese Take Out in our neighborhood. The only disappointment is that they're closed on Sunday, WTF!!! Love your food, thank you!!

Delivery drive shows up with food that is not mine. Told him not mine. He got very nasty with me, started kicking my gate and tried to hit me. Went there in person and the woman says oh he's new. The guy shows up and thinks is funny. I got it all on camera. Never ordering again. Very rude, disrespectful and they want to fight you. He screw up. Carrying around old delivery receipts with customers information. Horrible! Lost my business.

I don’t know what the other people are saying, but the service here is top notch. The husband and wife who own and run this place are exceptionally kind and wonderful people. Food’s great too. The place has a warm, inviting, and calm ambience to it too, so I imagine eating in here would be nice.

Nasty as if you were begging for food... Two years later after my initial review which h is above, that lady is still rude and nasty. I'm not begging for food. She got upset because my order was ready and I was watching a movie on my headphones and I couldn't hear her so she had to walk 5 steps to get my attention. Threw my can of soda on the counter and then let it drop on the bag, asked for a different one because when I was going to open it it was obviously going to spill. The food might be good but when you treat your customers like trash it makes you not want to eat it at all. Nothing has changed in two years.
