The food is pretty good. Nice size portions. The ratio of entree to rice is good. It's not 75% rice like some other places I've had. The Honey Chicken was very good. The beef and broccoli was also very good. The egg rolls are pretty good, but on the smaller side. The Crab Rangoons tasted only of cream cheese. I really didn't taste any crab, and I don't care for cream cheese, so these were not a hit. The inside of the building doesn't look the nicest, but we just do pick up, and it's fine. Overall, we really like this place and is our go-to for local Chinese takeout.

This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant, mainly the food is always fresh and never has that slimy feel that Chinese food often gets when it's been sitting out a little longer than it should. I only have one complaint: WHYOHWHYOHWHY do they have to be closed on Tuesdays, when I have an insatiable craving for sesame chicken and fried rice?!?!?! I'm so sad, and so HUNGRY!!!! I would go to the other location on route 60, but I don't think they deliver to where I live, and even though I love 'em, I lack transportation and that would be a pretty long wok (see what I did there?) for me.

I was extremely excited to try this Chinese Buffet, and extremely disappointed, the hot items on the buffet were cold, very poor quality. Staff and cleanliness is average. I can not rate the quality of this food above a 2.

We ordered our food through door dash and it was not good at all. We ordered orange chicken, fried rice, chicken w/ broccoli and chow mein (which we did not get). It all barely had any flavor and had a weird after taste. Instead of chow mein we got a very watery vegetable stir fry. Maybe it was just a bad night to order, but I had to throw it all away because it just did not taste good. The picture is of the vegetable stir fry we did not order. My son usually loves fried rice but he didn't want it.

Very kind people, they threw in an extra spring roll into my order. The food is great and the prices CANT be beaten!! It was 17$ for two people and a snack. I am considering returning every week just because it's so nice. The sitting area is fancy. They seem a bit busy with online orders but it's easy to get a spot to sit. 10/10 would recommend.

Wether it be taken out or delivery. The food is always fresh, and delicious. Staff has always been friendly. Atmosphere has been peaceful when I pick up take out. Delivery says up to an hour, but most times I've received my order within 30-45 and the food still be hot. I recommend this location for anyone looking for timely, well prepared food at a great price. Take-out, delivery, or dine-in.

Quiet atmosphere. Kimchi dumpling was 10/10. Service was sweet and happy

Sadly this place did not meet our expectations. We ordered four different dumplings, which were recommend to us (the French onion, mushroom risotto, chicken teriyaki and spinach and artichoke). They were okay, but honestly not all that. Extremely over priced and still left hungry.

Lost the edge. I still come to this place occasionally. Staff is nice and food consistent even though menu could be updated. My main issue is overall hygiene of the place. Place been neglected for long time and it shows. Residue in bathroom, mold, floor is growing black mold and management is not addressing it. Im looking forward to the day when i see place properly cleaned up so i can delete this post.

A good restaurant has something for everyone... or perhaps it's some'Ting' for everyone. But after my experience, I found that every'Ting' was wrong. Okay, look - just because you're an Asian restaurant doesn't mean that you should do ALL THINGS Asian. I love Asian food, and I've eaten at Ting before (pre-pandemic). But good-NESS, how 'Ting's have changed... (inside I'm cracking up with all the puns, but I'll stop it now... you've noth'Ting' to worry about). Where was I? Ah, yes! Ting! Anyway, they've got a huge menu and concentrate on pretty much most of South East Asian Cuisine as a Chinese, Thai and Japanese fusion. (I wish we could get a great Vietnamese or Cambodian restaurant in town... and a Korean place would kill it here... but sadly, no such place has come to Hun'Ting'ton... šŸ˜... okay I'll stop now). Anywho... I ordered some Maki Rolls. And I have to say, these were dreadful. Unseasoned, overcooked rice. I hate restaurants who use unseasoned, overcooked rice. The rolls I ordered offered no character or depth at all, just the same amorphic bland paste. Okay, I know I'm sounding a bit harsh, so I'll try to be a little more uplifting. Did I enjoy my meal? No. Was it edible? Err... yes? Sadly, my experience was that it was just bland, boring, unimpressive food. And what the f*ck are those little orbs you've sprinkled on top the roll? Are those supposed to be rice crisps? Jesus. The thing is, this is like so many of the other restaurants in town. The sushi scene in this town has really taken an ugly downturn, and it shows. Since everyone and their uncle offers Sushi in town, then I guess the general concensus is that it can just be mediocre to sub par - but why? Because rather than focus on doing something exceptionally well, the focus is on being able to simply offer it, regardless of quality, because everyone offers it, and they'd rather have it to be competitive rather than focusing on being great at a small collection of dishes. Ting pre-pandemic was very good. Post-pandemic however has yielded a different experience, and for that I am sad. If I want sub-par, mediocre food I'll go to Panda Express or grab Super Market Sushi... for what you get and for the price I paid, it simply just wasn't worth it.

Ming Star takeout in Huntington, an extraordinary Chinese establishment that often flies under the radar. Now, let me tell you, it's about time this place gets the recognition it deserves. The kitchen here is producing top-notch dishes that'll make your taste buds do a victory dance. As you step in, you're hit with the symphony of sizzling oil and the rhythmic melody of metal on the hot wok. It's like a culinary orchestra, and trust me, they're playing all the right notes. The atmosphere may be reminiscent of a 1990s classic, but the flavors are anything but outdated. They don't just serve you reheated leftovers; oh no, they're crafting each dish fresh to order. Now, that's the commitment to quality that I want to see in every kitchen. The lunch special? Don't even get me started—it's a game-changer. Picture this: chicken fried rice, but we're not stopping there. Add a glorious egg and throw in some extra bean sprouts for that crunch that elevates the whole experience. So, next time you're craving Chinese takeout in Huntington, do yourself a favor and head to Ming Star. It's a hidden gem, and after one bite, you'll wonder why you haven't been singing its praises sooner.

Do not order from this place! They messed up our whole delivery order. I had a feeling because the lady on the phone sounded like she wasn’t paying attention to what I was ordering. They came back to bring shrimp fried rice because instead they gave us pork fried rice and had the nerve to take back the pork fried rice to give to someone else. Disgusting! Food had no taste and was disgusting. We are a big facility that orders out a lot and we promise we will never order from them again!!! Be careful what you get because your food may be someone else’s food that was returned!!!

Came one time last week during lunch but it was close to being dinner time so I said that may have been the reason. Decided to come back again today at 11 when they opened hoping for a better result. None of the food was fresh and all of the chicken and food that had juice was just sitting in juice getting soggy. Sesame chicken isn’t supposed to be that soft. Very disappointed and annoyed that I gave them another chance. Just ruined my entire lunch. Pricing and customer service is good but I’ll rather pay more money for better food quality.

The prices are pretty cheap for the buffet but ultimately you get what you pay for. The drinks where pretty watered down as well. After eating here me and my wife felt pretty unwell for a day or two but we had also eaten something else so we are not entirely sure if this place got us sick or if it was something else.

I love this place! It has many different options you can choose from. Everytime I have went the food has always been fresh. The staff is really friendly and always filling up your drinks. The price isn't too bad considering it's a buffet and is cheaper than the others located around me. The peanut butter chicken is my favorite at this location! The seafood donut is also very good. They are always filling up the food and keeping it fresh. The weekends are busy especially right when they open. If you choose to go later in the day it is still fresh! The place is clean including the bathrooms. I am a frequent visitor of this location and have not had any issues. This restaurant is good to bring children as well! They have mac & cheese, onion rings, chicken nuggets, fish and many more options for kids to choose from! Stop by and give it a try if you haven't already!

This place is honestly disgusting. I went a couple two days ago and now I have food poisoning. Not surprised with how dirty and unsanitary this place is. If they keep the buffet and atmosphere as dirty as they keep the kitchen that we can’t see, I wouldn’t even want to know. Never coming back

Albert's Mandarin Gourmet

Came to dinner and was not expecting the amazing service and even better food. A true eat in Chinese food experience! It was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten and friendliest service ever! We meet Albert who also cooked side service for us. He ensured that our tree nut allergy niece was well taken care of and made sure that her food was tree nut safe unheard of but true he made her so happy to eat freely and safe. We were all blown away again not only by the food but service! We will be back often!

Our first time here and the food is very flavorful. We order Chinatown style, scallion and garlic lobster and they both are great. The Mongolian beef is tender and very tasty. The crispy whole fish was a Seabass and it was perfectly cooked and I use only what I need for the seasoning. This way the Seabass is still crispy as we ate it in portions. Finally we ordered the crispy fried noodles with shrimp. It was good but wish there were more crispiness. Over all I enjoyed the food a lot. If you are in the area, give this place a try and order things different from Chinese take out menu.

Overall great. The food is delicious and they are very accommodating for allergies. I ordered the king of Brocc with steak and fried rice and their chicken wings. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

The food is delicious. I had the pulled pork egg roll and garlic beef lo mein. So good! The staff are friendly and the decor is awesome. The only thing is, I wish they had actual tables to sit down at. The bar type seating is okay but there's definitely room for tables. Other than that detail, this is a great little Chinese restaurant. I really like it!

Love LOVE LOVE the food and staff here. My food is always fresh and made the way I like it!! A good Chinese spot is hard to find. You just found 1

I’m used to love ordering from this establishment , However I recently had an unprofessional encounter with this establishment. The delivery driver hounded me for a tip and I always tip. I did not tip him due to him, hounding me for a tip. He seemed to say something nasty to me under his breath. This was a very unprofessional experience today and I’m extremely disappointed. Businesses should not ask for a tip…..
