The name actually should be 100 Happiness because the food was really good. Arriving right when closing. I was going to go elsewhere but the owner flagged me in with a big smile and said it was not a problem. They had a lot of pickup orders. Ordering the dinner version of the sesame chicken, white rice and broccoli and while I was waiting I was talking to the owner and this is her third successful restaurant. Her philosophy is easy, clean store, great customer service and great food. She also mentioned that their food is not smothered with heavy sauces but instead opt for the flavors to come out. The food that I ordered, Sesame Chicken was very very good, chicken slices were tender, the broccoli was fresh and crisp, and the rice was not overly sticky and perfectly cooked. The sauce was perfect and light as mentioned. Definitely will be eating here often and I was looking at the website and they do deliver. Thank you for the free spring rolls and your hospitality.

We have ordered 3 times in the last 3 weeks and it is the best American Chinese food around here. We liked everything we tried. They listen to the reviews and we can confirm that the portion size for the rice got bigger. The portion sizes are big in general and there are always left overs. Two things I would recommend is some vegetables in the egg drop soups (but that could be just not a thing) and the pork fried rice needed more seasoning, but it was still delicious (I just added more soy sauce and Maggi to it at home). They make everything in house, nothing comes from frozen or pre-packaged packages, we asked. The customer service is wonderful and it is definitely a new favorite for us.

This is my first time at this place. When I walk in, there are no guests sitting down so i was alone and the owner well who i think is the owner came out of the kitchen and thought I had ordered something. I eventually ordered something and he himself took the order and then went back to the kitchen. So he is a chef and he a cashier and does delivery by himself! Much respect and I gave him a small tip . Place is small. I don't think there are any bathrooms in there though I never got up to check. So for the atmosphere I'm giving it a 3 star. It isn't bad but just very empty therefore kinda uninviting. I ordered the beef curry which comes with white rice, pork dumplings, cheesecake, and a strawberry smoothie. Smoothie was definitely real as in they used real strawberries and it wasn't drowned in fructose syrup. With that being said, it wasn't super sweet, but just right especially with the food I ordered. Very hardy food i ordered. It was refreshing and a nice texture so that is a mega plus! The dumplings were also good and savory. Dunno what kind of sauce that was but if it was soy sauce, it definitely wasn't your typical soy sauce. It wasn't super salty and sour. It was comforting really! The Beef curry was hardy and good and had a wonderful sweet aroma to it too, but there definitely needed to be more sauce. The curry was more so big chunks of beef than anything else. It The cheesecake was good. They didn't have strawberry or raspberry sauce so they'd used chocolate sauce. The cheesecake itself was thick and it wasn't really cold so I'm wondering if it was a fresh batch or whatever i dunno but it wasn't too rich for me to not be able to finish it all so I love that. Everything was good. I don't really have any complaints. I will be back but next time I may just do take out or bring a friend who likes Thai food cuz being alone kinda sucked a little bit you know. Shout out to the owner and the other worker! Thank you!

Awesome small place for sure. The food was great and the staff was friendly and courteous. Ordered 2 Thai teas, Pad Thai chicken, Burmese chicken, and noodles. Softest chicken I've ever had and the noodles on both meals were great and the perfect softness. Thai teas were creamy and smooth. If we lived closer we would make this the place to go with friends and family.

Great food! Comes out quick & tastes delish. What I tried: chicken wrap with fries, and Manchurian chicken (with gravy) & rice. Would I get it again: yes. I asked for the wrap to be spicy and it was, & they have sauces on the table if you need more spice, & gave those sauces in my take out order. My only drawback was the chicken in the wrap was a little dry, but not too bothersome, still loved it. There’s a station for to go boxes so you don’t have to wait on anyone for that, which I like. Oh and prices! It’s hard to find food for $10 these days, so I was very pleased with the taste and amount I received for the price.

From the outside main road , this restaurant might look like a tiny spot, but stepping inside looks good and cozy ambiance. The vibes are great, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. I tried the fried rice and noodles, and both were delicious! The food, service, and overall experience were excellent. I’d love to come back and try more dishes next time! recommend if you want to try new!

Very adorable! Cozy! Got the Egg flower soup and it was delicious with the hot oil. Very affordable and wonderful service! Will definitely be there again to support their dream! Had a white wine and they do have cocktails. Totally recommend!

The food is incredible! It’s definitely made with love and care. The service was also amazing, the woman there was so friendly and kind. The inside of the restaurant was clean and cozy too. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back to support this small business!

Sun Hing 0

Sun Hing always comes through in the clutch! The Orange Chicken combo was spot on—plump, juicy chicken with a perfect crunch, coated in a tangy orange-based sauce. The pork fried rice was loaded with flavorful morsels that made every bite a treat. I also ordered a noodle dish online with a few modifications. When my note didn’t quite make sense, they called me right away to clarify. Not only was my order adjusted perfectly, but the delivery was on time, and the dish turned out exactly how I wanted. Fast, friendly service and great communication—Sun Hing has earned its spot as my go-to for takeout!

I've ordered takeout from here twice now, and I've been happy both times. I ordered the lunch special chicken with garlic sauce, and I got it medium spicy, and it's exactly the spice level I'd expect. The sauce is a little tangy, and it comes with chicken, snow peas, broccoli, carrots, baby corn, green bell pepper, and water chestnuts. Since it's the lunch special, it came with a couple scoops of rice and a side of soup or a can of soda. I went with the egg drop soup, and it's pretty good. I also ordered steamed pork dumplings. They're very good! The dumpling is a thicker dough, and the dipping sauce is on the sweeter side.

Love this Chinese restaurant! The staff is always great and it's the best Chinese around. Portions are great too. The pic is of the General tsou w eggroll dinner plate to go. BEST EGG ROLLS!

Never actually been inside and I like it that way. We order delivery once a month or so and the food almost always comes piping hot and in less time than the text says. The usual American Chinese staples (think orange chicken and beef and broccoli) are solid and the fried rice is one of my favorites.

Travellers, China gourmet is a delicious take out. It doesn’t appear to be much from the outside but the food is quite yummy. The restaurant is clean and organized and the service is with a smile. Very nice and accommodating. The soups are top notch. We recommend the chicken and rice. It was delicious as is the hot and sour. The shining star of the day was the sechuan dumplings in spicy peanut sauce. They are fantastic. Spicy but not too much. Saucy and delicate. They do not disappoint. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR - great Asian cuisine at takeout prices

Small restaurant. There is no table service, but tables and a countertop are available to eat-in. Tables are very close together. We ordered Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, Pepper Steak, and Chicken with Green Beans. They didn't have green beans, so we subbed Broccoli. All food was ready within a reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious and seemed fresh. Veggies were perfectly cooked. I am not impressed with how the place looks. However, I was very impressed with the taste of the food and the service. When I'm back in Jacksonville, I will definitely order from China Joy again.

We ordered food from there for delivery. One of the items we got was supposed to be a QUART of Mongolian chicken. The amount of chicken in the dish was less than a small chicken breast, the rest of the container was FULL of onions. NEVER AGAIN! With 2 meals, tax and tip it was about $50. When I called to find out why it was like that he just said, "I don't know what to tell you that's the size of the order" The food was not even that good, the onions were barely cooked. This picture is AFTER removing the 5 small finger sized pieces of chicken. The fried rice tastes like chemicals.

Me and my husband have been coming here for years, and before that me and my mom would order from here. What ever these comments say that are negative I disagree with. This is the only Chinese take out place I will eat from! Service and food is always incredible. I get the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and my husband gets sesame seed chicken.

Food want in the trash bag, nastiest shrimp lo maine I have ever had. Shrimp fried rice 99% rice very very little shrimp dame with the shrimp lo main. Yep will never order there again. Leasoned learned. One of the worst food places we have ordered from in this area. It's a shame so hard to find good Chinese food or any other good places to eat at in this area. Some good pizza places but who wants that every night. Even the Fortune cookies like rubber

This place is super close but I've never tried it. They sent a mailing and we won a free small pizza. Pretty impressed. I just wished it could've been cooked a minute or two longer. Other then that it was delicious and I would order again.

We order from Pat's weekly. People make mistakes. But my experience yesterday had me livid. I called at 2:23 pm for a pickup at 6:30 pm. That was the first thing I said was the time I'd be picking it up. Anyway I called back not quite two hrs later and it was an automated system and I changed my time to 6:15. The system acknowledged my request. When we got home, which is literally 2 min from Pat's the pizza was ice cold, dried out and the wings, and as always didn't get the extra blue cheese I paid for. The celery was literally mush.I called to speak to the manager and he said there was no time on the slip. I told him I did give a time. Ok mistake on the person that took the order. But if u see an order sitting for 4 hrs, wouldn't you call that # and see what's up. My # is literally on the order receipt. I asked what he can do for me since I paid $50 for a large and 20 wings( price went up)that is disgusting. He said "NOTHING" I told him I'm going to get a hold of the owner and he hung up on me. I called back and asked to bring me the blue cheese I pd for. Delivery guy did but my family was afraid to eat it thinking they did something to it. So disappointed with the service yesterday. I hope the owner reads this. I wish I could post the pics of my order on here

Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant at Harvard Square is a true gem! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the lively ambiance that perfectly complements the exceptional cuisine. The menu offers an incredible array of authentic dishes, each prepared with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavor. The General Tso's Chicken and Crispy Duck are personal favorites—simply divine! The service is top-notch, with attentive staff who ensure your dining experience is flawless from start to finish. Whether you're here for a quick bite or a full dinner, Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant never disappoints. A must-visit for anyone in the area!

Came here with my sisters to eat recently. We've been coming in since we were kids and it's still delicious and affordable for a group. The food came out super quickly and there was little wait in-between different dishes. The servers do come up to you quite often if it takes you a little while to decide what to order, but I assume it's a customer service thing or how they are told to serve. I'm just indecisive sorryy 😭 Great place though! Thanks for being around this long, I stop here when I'm in Cambridge and have the money. Weirdly enough a piece of consistency in my life.

My husband and I come here every Friday for dinner! We have yet to find a menu item we didn’t like. The main waiter, Donald is a character and makes the dining experience fun while servicing all tables quickly and accurately. We love bringing people here and recommend this place to anyone who love Asian cuisine. Plenty of options to choose from.. best dim sum in Jax!

Because of Easter it was one open dim sum place on our way home. Restaurant looks pretty nice, food was delicious. I liked the most baked pork bun, pineapple and egg custard bun and next one my favourite is pork and shrimp shumai. And my boyfriend also enjoyed the pineapple bun the most. He wouldn’t recommend the beef short rib since it was chewy. The server was timely and very helpful. Table was not properly set up since we only had one napkin and one chopstick for 2 people. And restroom had super dirty mirrors.
