Jade Palace Restaurant

Jades Palace should cook their Fried rice well. Many times, I have purchased their fried rice it is undercooked and their food don’t taste good either.

I ordered picked up my order and got back to work the order was completely wrong it took them 45 min to an 1hr to deliver the correct order and they had no regaurds for my inconvenience and was "yeah yeah!' at me. As if I made the mistake. I don't eat chicken from Chinese restaurants. "Food inc." movie tells you all about why the pork always dyed red.

Chinese Fried Chicken

64reviews

As a Office Personnel that consistently searches for places to eat due to being far from most places, I can say the “Sesame chicken” is really good. It has a actual chicken texture & moistness to it. P.s. The spring rolls are nasty because it’s too dry in the inside. (0 Stars)

I've been ordering from this spot since it opened in the mid 90s. The food was always good, despite the facts so many owners/workers been there. Post covid hasn't been looking for them. Hopefully the spot gets more cooks and deliver men.

Hawaii

I ordered from here a while back and I don't eat pork or chicken because I have allergies to it I pacifically Asked for shrimp fried rice with beef and broccoli when my food got here I received a totally different order from what I expected. I tried to call back and tell them that my order was wrong but they never answered the phone it took them over 20 minutes to answer. Not to mention it took almost 40 minutes to deliver my food and I live five blocks away from the restaurant.

I ordered pork egg foo young and rib tips on the A and B special. Extremely disappointing, I called to let the restaurant know the egg foo young omelet was undercooked & the sauce was watery, the guy who took the order instructed me to add SOY SAUCE, to thicken the sauce???? No suggestion to bring the food back or offer an exchange. Really, think twice or three times before ordering from here. I have ordered from here before and never had an issue, I'm sad no exchange was offered. I did inform them that I live in the area and never experienced the food to taste as horrible as it was today. Bad day, no offer to fix the order, makes bad business !!!!

Golden Gate

I was going to Pioneer, down the road, but a receptionist in my doctor's office said Golden Gate was better. I got there and was surprised at how expensive it was. Total, $42 for 3 things, one of the noodles. When I got home and ate it, it was not good. None of them. Pork fun, chicken egg foo young, and pad Thai - the pad Thai especially disappointing. Tasted cheap. I'll be giving the rest to the homeless - maybe not doing them any favors! And I waited about 20 minutes to get it. The young man behind the counter was nice. 😟

I got house special lo mein no shrimp was in it. I expected my order to have all ingredients because I paid the full price. Stop ripping off customers. For now on I will go somewhere else

New Kam Sheng

I ordered bean curd home style with veg fried rice. Everything was bland and there was not enough tofu. It may not look like it from my pic, but there were more vegetables (mainly diced onions) in the fried rice than actual rice. I paid $12 for this lunch special portion with a can of Pepsi and it was not worth it at all. Very disappointed. Should have read the reviews beforehand!

I ordered General Tso's chicken. It made me vomit. It was just a little chicken. It was all powdered

Pioneer Restaurant

Friday night and I hadn’t eaten all day. They were extremely busy and although it took time to arrive the wait was worth it! I got the shrimp egg roll, chicken and broccoli with shrimp vegetable fried rice. Fresh, tasty and well seasoned. Reminds me of classic old school Chinese food😍

Place has been solid for years. When my friends eat here they say it’s the best Chinese food they ever had. I have a custom order of steamed mushrooms and broccoli in garlic sauce with ginger( try it if your looking for a veggie meal)🔥🔥

New Rainbow Chinese Restaurant

I ordered 5 wings and fried rice. Two of the bigger wings were bloody - half done. So when you order fried wings, tell them well done. I am finished eating food here. I cook at home now. Raw or undercooked poultry can make you very ill. I told the lady and she was trying to defend it. No More Eating at Rainbow Chinese Restaurant! Maybe I should have informed The NY Public Health Department.

I love their food, always on time when delivered. fresh all rice is cooked daily I know am always there. The lady she so nice her husband and kids very polite. Tried other places not same quality. Love rainbow Chinese and I am Hispanic.

Jun Bo

What happened... makes me sad it use to be a great place. Bought ice tea from them tasted like they used water that was used to soak onions. The gentalman offered another but sorry to say tasted the same. The sweet plantains were saturated in oil. Ordered a hot and sour soup was sooo thick like mashed potato's. I can go on......Any recommendations throgs neck family????

Man I used to order from Jun Bo for years. Then stopped when the quality wasn’t as good anymore. Linda was my go to for Chinese takeout for years until last week I find a long hair in my boneless ribs. My mother wanted Chinese and Linda was closed so we hit Jun Bo. I got chicken w broccoli. Only to find not a hair but a strip of METAL in my food. I think I’m done with Chinese food for a while now.

Quality Food Chinese Restaurant

As someone who works part time in the food industry I do not take it lightly to review an eatery. However.... I ordered a "ham fried rice" and I ordered a half fried chicken... when I get home...there's a huge hair in the chicken (literally wrapped in the breading....) and the rice is just yellow rice that tastes like nothing but grease. So...I DRIVE back to the restaurant (I had thrown the hair out immediately so I didn't take that back, literally just threw it all out!) and the person at the counter tells me I ordered "pan fried rice"- that is not on their menu....and charged me an extra $2 for the "ham" (that I had to DRIVE to get corrected) They continued to just throw the SAME RICE with MORE GREASE and ham and onion in a wok, stir it around.... and then threw it back in the same greasy container. I'm all for fast food, however, this is the first and last time I order anything from this establishment. Again, I usually only write good reviews but after a $37.00 order where everything was absolutely horrible (including the grease soaked egg roll and the soup...).... I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I went through.

DONT RECOMMEND!!! YOU WILL GET SICK!!! I tried to give this spot a 3rd chance after months of not returning and getting food poisoning. I order the same thing General Tso Chicken with fried rice. Other spots like China wok in Tremont are fine but this location specifically always gets me and my family sick.

Big Wong

The food is flavorful. I ordered fried chicken and shrimp fried rice... chicken and broccoli with spring rolls total 15.75...Usual portions compared to most Chinese spots, spring rolls a little bit oily, shrimp fried rice needs more shrimp, but besides that finally a good Chinese spot I'd say. NO Delivery by the way

Ehh it's not the worse but not the best. The vegetable fried rice is just rice with some broccoli on top not the kind of rice I'm used to at all. The sesame chicken was pretty good and the sweet and sour chicken too. The restaurant wasn't all the welcoming and looked a bit dirty. Then again look at the area it's located why would they want people to sit and eat there so I guess having no tables or chairs is understandable.

Boe Lee

This is a neighbourhood spot, has a nice menu and the dishes you would expect. They have remained consistent with everything over the years and the quality and quantity did not diminish as it did with a lot of other places. The food is always delicious and well prepared and they do great when you asked for customised orders or not to include a certain vegetable which I very much appreciate as I am one of those customers and I will complain and or return to have it fixed. I have never been sick or had a tummy ache after eating there and I always go back there. The food is fresh and delicious and they give you extra duck sauce no problem if you ask and I love that. My go to place for authentic cuisine.

Called for delivery just now and was told I was to far when I explained I was only 3 blocks away she responded with yea yea yea and hung up! I laughed a bit (like did she just do that???) then called back and she told me the the delivery guys electric bike was broken and he did not want to deliver the food saying it was to far and that he was using and regular bike to make deliveries for today sucks cause my son loves there food but there very poor service makes me never want to order there again...

Ordered barbecue wings with fries ONLY and I got barbecue wings dipped in rice?!?

I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. The food took an unusually long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and lacked flavor. Additionally, the portions were small for the price. Overall, it was a very poor dining experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good Chinese food.
