This place has good food order for them frequently. However, I do notice the quality change in the food whenever the women who usually runs the front is not there. Very poor customer service

Thank you to do the change

Great price and great amount of food. Quick served. Kind service.

By far the best tasting Chinese Food in Kingsbridge / Riverdale area of the Bronx! The General Tso chicken is always perfectly cooked and the meat is big. Never over cooked chewy like some other spots around here. The sauce is darker and full of flavor, and what's most awesome is they are never cheap with the broccoli. Try for yourself and you'll be addicted like me 😁

I had a customized soup request, and they hit it on the head! Not only was it what I wanted, but it was delicious ( For those of you interested, it was a large vegetable soup, with $2 baby shrimp, made extra spicy 🌶)! As for the atmosphere, it was crammed, but it was clean, and there were chairs to sit while they took time to make your order FRESH! Besides, I'm not going for a pretty layout and sucky, overpriced food!! Glad it's close by, because this is now my spot! šŸ˜‹

Best Chinese in the area. They’re shrimp and fried fish is fresh and well made. (Maybe not flounder but close ) and delicious. Great prices. Fresh food.

The Chef should be fired due to disrespecting the customers and not treating them with respect. I picked up my order yesterday and he very rudely said I was not smart, whereas I replied here look meand look at you- I am a professional and that is NOT HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS!!! If he was smart he would have retired by now by after 30 YEARS HE STILL WORKING THERE- Cmon now- He needs to smarten up and not take it personal with the people coming in with MONEY to PAY FOR THE ORDER!!!

I made an order the menu says one price and when you order they charge another price. Menu stated 10.50 but when I ordered they charged everything separately. So double check your bills. When I brought to their attention they caught attitude. Will never order from there and wouldn’t recommend

I hate to give a bad review, but simply put, this was an incredible disappointment. To start on the wrong foot, I found a hair in my chicken wings... This obviously is a food safety issue. In addition, by far the worst egg rolls I have ever had in my life. Clearly mass produced, frozen but the worst part is that it wasn't even fully cooked. The dough was entirely raw and dry, with hardly any filling inside. Not at all what would you expect from a NYC Chinese takeout egg roll. Lastly, the entree did not taste fresh at all and had a day old or frozen essence to it. To really nail the coffin shut, the prices here are exorbitante and you will feel like a schmuck for buying into it because you were hungry. I hope they can turn it around, but I def will not be returning.

Simply good! CHINA KITCHEN IS NOW OPEN AGAIN! šŸ¤—šŸ˜‹ ā€œPLEASE COME TO ORDER YOUR FOODā€ ON ASTOR AVE! šŸ¤—šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹

Ate here for the first time the other day, some wings with fried rice on a plate came out to $19. Rice was not the best. Either way, I asked to use the bathroom at the end of my meal and was told ā€œNO. GO TO GAS STATIONā€. I’m a TRAFFIC AGENT BRO! Not even a paying customer who’s in city uniform can be allowed the bathroom. Mind you, I was planning to come back to try their boba. Hell NO. How you lose a customer over denying them the bathroom?šŸ˜‚

It’s truly disheartening to have to write this I’ve been a customer for over 7 years now. And Today China Mia Up charged me for my regular order and gave me less than what I asked for. It’s important to note, the portion size they charged me for was 1 dollar extra in past times where I would ask for extra syrup which was recent. They told the person I sent there today that ā€œ 1 dollar isn’t enough ā€œ and how I’d need to pay more money, but then told me what I wanted was too much and how they could only fill it half way to what I wanted. I feel robbed, I wanted to raise an issue but the person came all the way from Brooklyn to get me my regular order. And I didn’t wanna say anything that would make him not be able to get the food. Past times I’d paid 25-28 dollars for my order today I spent 36 dollars. After this experience I honestly will start looking at other bubble tea spots in my area, because this is truly disheartening to have to say after 7 years of going to this establishment.

I don’t normally write bad reviews but this is the first time I ever had bad fried chicken from a Chinese restaurant. Overcooked and they charged a dollar for this BBQ sauce on the rice… I said that’s crazy but fine if you put a lot, and this is what they gave me. The rice was also awful.

My go to is General Tso Chicken always hits. Also when feeding my family a large plain broccoli with extra sauce is also really good

Update: perhaps some chefs left, because this restaurant no longer gives generous amounts, prices increased slightly, and I have not received the complimentary items without asking (e.g., spend $15 and you get a free soda, etc). Food is still tasty, however. Original review: Great food and very friendly staff. Food is relatively cheap, and they give generous amounts.

The best Pepper Steak & Onions I had in years. Food was fresh & tasty. I highly recommend

general tso Chicken is very delicious and crispy. Lo mein is also my taste. It is worth recommending

Don't eat here. I'm a vegetarian & I ordered the Mo Po Tofu & the tofu was not cooked. Any time I've gotten a tofu dish at a Chinese spot it was COOKED. They got me.

The lady who answered the phone today was so disrespectful and rude, couldn’t clarify the menu item prices and kept talking over me. I will never ever order from here.NOT WORTH IT

The order came quick... But the ribs were not fresh. They taste like they were going bad. The order was $15.75 for shrimp fried rice and long ribs w bone in. Taking a lose comes with business. Do not feed your customers food you need to discard or maybe take home. Bad business
