My recent experience at Xing Long Chinese restaurant on Madison Avenue in Albany, New York, left me disappointed and disheartened. I've ordered from this restaurant in the past and had decent experiences, but today was different. The two women working behind the counter made me feel like I wasn't being treated as a human being. I placed an order for General Tso's chicken with shrimp fried rice, specifically requesting no onions. However, when I received my order and opened it at home, I was dismayed to find that it was filled with onions. Despite feeling upset, I returned to the restaurant and politely explained that my order was incorrect. Rather than offering to prepare a fresh order, the lady at the counter simply went to the back and picked most of the onions out of my meal. When I returned home and began eating, it was evident that they had not provided a fresh plate of food. Onions were still present in the rice, and it was clear that they had simply removed them from the initial plate. This made me feel like I was being treated with disrespect, as if I were less than a valued customer. Overall, my recent experience at Xing Long Chinese restaurant was disappointing, not only because of the initial mistake but also due to the lack of effort to rectify it properly. I hope that the restaurant can improve its customer service and ensure that orders are prepared correctly in the future. I will never eat there again.

Great food for an even better price! Definitely more of a take-out joint than a sit down restaurant, which is exactly what I was looking for. The owner/operators were very friendly, 10/10 all around :)

i ordered dinner for me and my fiancé from here we hadn’t eaten all day so we were excited for this food. when we got home and opened the general tso chicken it looked like this. if i didn’t walk here i’d go back and complain in person it’s that upsetting.

I ordered the seafood delight. The most expensive item in their menu. I like to support local businesses. I usually order the most expensive thing on the menu for my first time. I evaluate quality along with quantity. The quality was just ok nothing special. The quantity, well. There was maybe a total of 7 pieces of seafood on the seafood delight. The rest was veggies I had to pick through to get to the actual seafood. Surprisingly though the lomein was extremely good. However I feel like if I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu or just ordered lomein I would have been better off.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I go to UAlbany and this is the only takeout place I get almost every weekend. The prices CANNOT beat the quality of the food!! The chicken wings are just so😍😍 the great proportion of lo mein, and the bento boxes omg!! It’s just endless deliciousness. The owners are rly nice I know because once my boyfriend and I went to the actual restaurant and spent like $40 and only finished less than half our food, the rest we took home for leftovers and they’re always so bomb fr. As broke college students, this is my tip: NEVER EVER get takeouts through DoorDash. The deliveries take FOREVER and they always do something wrong stg. The prices through DoorDash is also outrageous. Always always have them deliver!! The delivery guy is so nice so always tip!!!! Anyways I just had the bento box with my bf and the miso soup is💯💯💯💯 I will forever stay loyal to Shun’s Kitchen❤️‼️‼️

The food looked delicious and we were eager to enjoy a nice meal however, we did not. Food was bland and lacked any real good flavor. Lots of grizzle in the chicken. I hate giving bad reviews, but we won't return. Redeeming factors: cheap and the wontons were crispy.
