Shanghai Bun 六禾园
Was a NYPD Detective, and many a nights after closing out a case, the men and women in my squad would go to Chinatown to Woh Hop which is a Legitimate Chinese restaurant. I have to say, this place hits the mark. The taste of the food was exactly what I expected, Good Chinese food But don't let me be your judge, see for yourself, and enjoy. GREAT FOOD!!! No fancy decor, just great food. Our server was great, and our food was hot. Have a good time.
I celebrated my birthday there, and it was an amazing experience. They accommodated is with a big table that was perfect for a group. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, they helped us light up the candle and even joined in to sing the birthday song. I highly recommend this place for special occasion!
Asian Bistro
Good food. Very friendly owner. Ordered the jjamppong. Pretty good but didn’t have that spicy kick even though I ordered spicy. Different noodles from what I’m used to. It was more of a thin udon style noodle, but still good. Tangsuyuk was good. Wife ordered the dolsot bibimbap and she said it was good. Son ordered the curry chicken - he said it was ok. Will come back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
Been here twice now. I had mulnangmyun last time (i think) but cannot remember taste. Couldnt remember anything bad. Kalbitang was as korean as it could get. Meat comes bone-in. Scissor is provided if you do not want to chew while holding bone. You get couple option if you dont want rice; udon noodle and pho noodle. Banchan selection is fairly limited, but expected considering price range and quality of main dish. Definitely one of the best korean restraurant on a budget. You know it's getting serious when there's old korean lady being chef of restraurant (probably owner too). Do note the restraurant is self-serve. You pick up food and return trays before leaving. Tip is not required nor expected.
Terakawa Ramen
A nice and simple ramen spot. Delicious and affordable. The ramen price includes the marinaded egg which is always appreciated. I wouldn’t call this my favorite ramen place but it is satisfying. The two appetizers were not bad but I’m not sure I’d order them again.
Princeton Junction ramen spot! Yum yum! The Takoyaki was delicious; crispy on the outside with a savory soft filling on the inside. I had the veggie ramen with a miso base. The umami was perfect. The blend of flavors tantalized my tastebuds! I will definitely return when I am in the area. Terakawa Ramen offers dine-in and take-out. Their staff were friendly and efficient.
Sultan Wok Chinese, Sushi & Thai
Absolutely amazing lunch special! General Tso tasted great and this lunch portion was the perfect size along side a vegetable roll. After not having Chinese Takeout in some time, this was a great experience. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
I've been ordering the same thing from here since high school. Sesame chicken, pork fried rice, spring roll. In all my years the taste and quality has stayed the same - just perfect. This is the best place for sesame chicken I've ever had. Many other spots have very rubbery chicken with a skin that's too chewy and a sauce that's too sweet. This is the perfect texture with the right sweet to savory balance. I love this place. Please don't change what you're doing. You're doing great!
