Mount Masala Himalayan Cuisine Indo-Chinese Style Restaurant
My wife and I were so excited to try this place, as the food looked great, however we were so sad after getting home and opening our to go order and seeing the food portion sizes. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the skimpiest portion size of food for the price paid I have ever experienced. In fact, I’m not sure if they would even get away with serving these portions if we dined in. I actually felt ripped off, it was crazy. The portion for the beef with vegetables was literally 8-10 1” x 1” pieces of very thinly sliced beef with like 5-6 pieces of vegetables thrown in, all for $18. It was barely enough to feed my wife and I, both lightweights. The veggie fried rice container was barely 1/2 full and i could count the number of vegetables in there on my fingers. The lollipop chicken was the only item that seemed worth it. Actually we were initially so confused, thinking they must have given us lunch portions. But to our dismay the almost non existent portions were their “dinner” portions. The food tastes great, however they provide unacceptable portion sizes of food for their prices.
I had just flown in to visit my friend and she suggested Mount Masala. Having never tried Himalayan I was excited to give it a shot. It was delicious! We had the vegetable dumplings and the Tofu Masala. Both excellent and the right amount of spice. Service was delightful, our server overheard my friend picking up the check and telling me happy birthday and brought us ice cream share. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!
Lucky Chopstix
Today is Christmas Day, and our tradition is to eat Chinese takeout. Our usual restaurant was closed because it's Monday and that's the day they are normally closed so we tried Lucky Chopstix. They were busy as suspected, but we got our food within 20 minutes of ordering. This is a takeout only establishment. The food was reasonably priced. Everything was hot and delicious. The only thing here is, if you order a sauce item like general tso chicken, ask for extra sauce. Ours was barely covered, and it needed it as the broccoli was naked. Overall, it was very good. The BBQ ribs are the best we've had, and the fried rice was awesome.
The rice and chicken wings were good, but the low mein was horrible. The pan must have been burnt or dirty, there is a really burnt smokey flavor and they are so dry my wife and I had a bite each and just couldn't tolerate it. The general tso chicken was okay, I would not get it again but I've definitely had worst. I just really didn't like that burnt taste in my noodles -_-
Samuel’ & Chef Chan Restaurant
I've been coming here for years! Samuel and Chan are some of the nicest people ever. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the sushi and sashimi. My favorite is the Dragon Roll! We keep coming back because the service is nice. They remember everyone who eats there.
Place is super clean! Staff is ultra friendly! Food is to die for! Price is really fair. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Samuels Chinese Restaurant
First time customer. Only 4* because they charge 25 cents for take out container so that came off the tip. I will come back but I’ll make sure I’ll finish everything there so I don’t need another container. Their prices went up $1-2. like everyone else.
Delivery mostly. Food is good and plentiful. Great customer service.
