Tang Asian Cuisine
I ate 3 plates of food it was so good. Nothing was chewy and it was one of the best tasting buffets i been to. The only part that was rediculous was if you go there at lunchtime 20 mins before dinner they force you to pay for dinner prices instead. Claiming you cant eat food after the lunch time ends. So i was forced to pay extra even though it was still lunchtime. Someone always tries to rip off the customers and makes them not want to come back.
This place was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food is tops, which is saying something considering how many options they have. I didn't even eat 10% of the options they had avaialable yet everything I chose was delicious. The only feedback was that some of the sushi pieces were a little dry but even so the flavor of the fish and filling was so good. Please stop reading this now and just go already. You'll be glad you did.
Viet Bistro
10/10 my first time trying this place I love it baddd
Went to eat on 11/17 and my girlfriend usually gets the pho soup. After we received it, she had one spoonful and told the waiter it did not taste right, the meat tasted old. We asked if we can have the pork/chicken combo instead, and he took the soup bowl away. When the bill came we were charged for BOTH the soup and pork/chicken combo. He said the owner stated "once you try the soup they will not take it back". He never explained this when we swapped it for something else. Wish the owner was there to confront about this policy. This is not how you keep loyal customers by treating them like this.
La Orocoveña Restaurant
So glad I found this place. I ordered the mofongo with pernil and the san cocho soup. Both were incredible. The flavors, the juiciness of the meat. Love. Can't wait to come back.
Food was cold. Beef stew looked & smelled old, it had a grey look to it. The pernil had a bad after taste. The rice had flavor but was cold. When we asked for white rice, they didn't have any. We asked for octopus salad, they didn't have any. And I found a hair in my food. The monfongo came with no sauce.
Golden Palace Diner & Restaurant
Surprisingly the food is very strong here. The French Onion soup broth was flavored greatly and is uniquely garnished with croutons. Their chicken skillet dish is phenomenal! It is a great deal; $21 for a soup/salad, entrée, two sides and a desert if I recall correctly. Service wasn’t anything exceptional, though, it was otherwise a pleasant experience. This is a great South New Jersey diner.
Great food. Relaxing, casual atmosphere. Delicious food! Our waitress, Alicia, is the absolute best! Never had a more professional ,thorough server. Ask for her if you go. You will not be disappointed.
Best Food In Town II
I've been ordering from this place for over 10 years and I love the service especially when Sherri took my order but as of recently this new service really has me on edge. First of the I've order the same dish for over 4 years and today when I called they don't make it as a combination mind you a meal I order every time I called I mean my daughter is 21 years old and it's been the same as long as I can remember. I get it you have to keep up with time but man I order 2 to 3 time a week from here I really miss Sherri
Didn’t get a chance to try the food , this review is strictly based off of the women in front taking orders . She was extremely rude and dismissive. Real nasty attitude- I asked if she was having a bad day & she said no, so I’m not sure the reason of her negative demeanor. I simply walked out and walked in another establishment with who I gave my money too. Nice attitude and even smiled at me. They can learn a few things from them . The new place I ordered from was Good Friends Chinese , about 5 minutes away .
Li's Family Buffet
Whoever rated this place more than one star is nuts!!! This is by far the worst buffet I've ever been to!!! Food is just barely warm and tasteless. There is only about 20 selections, and almost all of them totally suck!! I am not exaggerating or trying to be funny. The best thing here is the soda and the salt on the table, honestly!! I didn't smell piss like the other reviews said, but, it didn't smell right!! Totally horrible!
Didn’t give the food a chance. We were seated then the neighboring guest began to stare. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they weren’t so close it’s too tight in there. The place is dirty not to mention the fruit fly’s and smell. We sat and immediately turned around. I wouldn’t suggest to anyone. A lot of people’s reviews say the food was good, but seeing how dirty the dining room was I could only imaging how the kitchen looks.
Chen's Lotus Express
Everything is extremely bad. Every time you go. Meats are all tough, gristle, and fat. If you ask for no fat they won't bother. Rice and noodles have 0 taste. (And also always dried out as you see in the photo.) Everytime all the food options are stale. They keep it sitting out all day and it's all never fresh. Rice is undercooked most times, and you'll have some hard pieces. *spare ribs are all large chunks of fat and gristle- barely any actual meat. *bourbon chicken has gristle so tough you'll practically break a tooth on it. Servers are emotionless and wouldn't say friendly. And the food is waay overpriced.. especially considering you're getting garbage. This place used to have great food back in the day (well over a decade ago..) I don't know if they're under new management, new cooks.. or what.. but it's probably the worst chinese food place you will ever go to and it's been that way for a long time now. Don't know how they haven't shut down, honestly.. The food tastes like plastic.. So bad. Choose Lucas or a salad. Definitely not giving them another shot.
You will be hard pressed to find food that is of lower quality then the food you will receive here. Any and all Chinese tv dinners you buy at Walmart and microwave will taste better and be cheaper. On the other hand this place makes me feel like I can open a successful restaurant, so I guess that is a positive take away from my dining experience.
Saladworks
How can you have a name like salad works but you don’t have romaine lettuce? I swear this place was trying to pass off brown, wilted iceberg lettuce as romaine. Salad was swimming in dressing and again, the lettuce was gross. I used to come here all the time back in the day, but the quality of ingredients has gone way down and the prices have gone way up. I paid $18 for a Caesar WITHOUT chicken and a medium soda. The only pleasant part of the experience was the girl who made my salad, she was a sweetheart.
I ordered a custom salad with feta. I was sent a salad with this soggy, moldy cheese (no, it’s not blue cheese) that had a pungent odor which was a dead give away that it was not edible. My daughter thought maybe it was just blue cheese and, despite my warning that blue cheese would not have the wet appearance that this cheese did, she tasted it. She confirmed it was moldy feta and promptly vomited. The whole order was thrown away.
