Panda Express
It's pretty late, I've been driving all day and I ordered my food to go. Why are the doors locked, and you're telling me to go wait through the drive through? What's the point of ordering online.
We were waiting for over 20mins to order food. Meanwhile the staff staid in the counter looking at us until her lunch break came. Then she proceeded to sit and use her phone and eat while the line to order kept getting bigger. The other 2 girls were arguing and not trying to assist. Food was mediocre, service was poor and the manager did not care about what was happening.
China House
While running some errands I stopped at China house restaurant for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the fried baby shrimp with pork fried rice. The food was good and the staff was friendly. It took 5-10 min for them to make my food and I was on my way. Good clean place. Would definitely stop in there again.
I ordered vegetable plus added chicken on that, but I just only have the plain vegetables. I don't like it! I have better asian fusion or thai food! Please don't go! You have been warned!
Mei Mei Wok
The food taste good and the food taste fresh. I had the shrimp with broccoli.
Food is fresh and very good . You can tell it was made with love . One the best Chinese food I had in a long time .
Green Lake Seafood & Dim Sum
Enjoyed dim sum on a Sunday morning and arrived 30 minutes after the restaurant opened. Dim sum was already in full effect and we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated the army of carts did not disappoint. In addition to the carts of food we also ordered roast pork fried rice and beef pan fried noodle which was amazing! I highly recommend this spot and would absolutely return. If you want the dim sum experience get there when they open! The wait can be long.
This is our favorite restaurant of Cantonese cuisine. We mostly go there for dinner. It is almost an hour’s drive from home. We would order much more food than the two of us could consume, so that we could take some home. Our favorite dishes are their blanched chicken (so tender and delicious, really the best in NJ), sour plum pork ribs, lobster and fried glutinous rice, bitter melon and beef, fried tofu and fish filet in clay pot. There should be more great dishes, but we love these so much that we simply could not not order them when we go there. If there are say 4 or more in our party, order the double/triple boiled soup a day or so in advance. They have several choices for the soup. Any one of them is good. You can choose between small or regular size. Last time, there were 5 of us. We chose the small size and there was more than enough to have two bowls or more each. Loved it.
Eat Well Modern Buffet
Came here twice already in the past few months. Love the friendly and attentive staff. Place is clean and so spacious. Food is good. The food changes everyday. First time we went there, they had lobster but no sashimi. The second time we went, they didn't have lobster but they had sashimi.
Such a great buffet! Food is of an awesome quality. The other day there was a super tasty red velvet cake. Love the white fish. Great soups. They even have sashimi, which is unheard of for a buffet. Even if I only want sushi, I’d come here. Good variety. True seafood buffet - a lot of choices. I like that there’s no stupid American pop music, and instead there’s a lovely Chinese background music. Hope they will always keep the quality of food and a nice service for a great price.
Chengdu 1 Palace
Outstanding. Haven’t had food like this since we moved back from China 2 years ago. Maybe the best 四季豆 (green beans) I’ve ever had. The spicy chili oil fish was light and delicious, with a wonderful mixture of spices. 幹過魚片Dry pot fried fish was very spicy and flavorful. Excellent presentation. 蔥油餅 (onion pancake) light and not greasy. 麻婆豆腐ma po tofu very flavorful. Service is great and staff is friendly and hard working and the price point is very fair!
We reserved long time ago for a banquet for 10 people. It was plenty tasty dishes, and we took home the leftovers. There were a big party on the same day, so that they don't have enough people to provide a better serve.
Koto Hibachi Asian Bistro & Bar
I had a great time at Koto Sushi Bar with my family! The sushi was super fresh, and the rolls were incredibly creative. We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere made it even better, providing a perfect setting for a family outing. The service was really friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. It's definitely a spot I'll be going back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic sushi experience!
First time visit. It was a really nice experience, our first time dining at a hibachi restaurant. The chef kept us entertained throughout, and the ambiance was great. The price and portion sizes were reasonable. However, the staff seemed hurried and not very friendly. The food tasted average. Definitely recommend for those wanting to try hibachi for the first time.
CHINA III
We found this place because my son attends classes at Action Karate next door and we are super happy we did! The food is always fresh, crispy, and consistently yummy. The lady at the front is always friendly and the food is ready quickly. There aren’t many great Chinese Food places around, so this will definitely be our go-to from now on! The food is great!
I ordered a beef chow fun take out, the noodle is fresh and large portion. Good taste.
Applebee's Grill + Bar
Went out with my family food was amazing just watch out when u order the fiesta lime chicken it has a crap ton of shredded potatoes it smelled like corn chips. Our waitress was the bomb. I was upset that my 10$ drink was melted by the time they brought it out for me
Joan is amazing. She was so helpful and knew the menu very well. Didn’t even have to ask her to refill my drink. Also brought extra napkins without me even asking. Awesome. I will be coming back for sure!
Domo 7 Japanese Restaurant
really great sushi and staff take out or dine in. very polite and on time staff and sushi is super fresh esp their salmon
Stopped here for a breather after driving 4 hours on a cross country trip. Couldn’t have picked a better place to sample. Not too many Japanese restaurants close to home. Wasn’t too hungry but their specials board boasted some amazing looking dishes. Ended up with some fried beef gyoza and Harumaki. Both were amazing, hot, and fresh! The Harumaki did squirt a bit when biting into it, keep a napkin close or a bib. Word to the wise, give this place a try. You will end up going there more than once, for sure! Enjoy your meal! どうぞお召し上がりください Dōzo omeshiagarikudasai
Savory Thai - Branchburg
First time here food was exquisite and the service was superb. KT answered all our questions and had excellent recommendations. The presentation was wonderful. We had sweet and sour chicken, eggplant basil, and ginger chicken all were delicious. Let me not forget the apps were so good. We were not rushed. I will be back. Excellent service.
This place absolutely blew me away with their style in cooking. From the attentive servers to the true-to-authenticity chefs, the food deserves proper praise. We had our hesitations at first, but the main dishes were made with much passion. Initially I had my doubts when they couldn't take certain requests like adding a fried egg or such on my fried rice, but I actually appreciated that they stayed true to the dish and how it's meant to be eaten. My high compliments to Chef Pithong (I believe that's how it's spelled. Please correct if I'm wrong) for making our Drunken Noodles and Basil Fried Rice. The fried rice was very rich with flavor and a little wet (in terms of sauce and flavor level), and the drunken noodles were extremely done well. The appetizer avocado roll was a bit of a surprise as we thought it would be a fresh roll, but it was a fried spring roll. Our server Amber paid attention to our every need. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their dishes for sure.
Panda Garden
The food has absolutely no flavor. Fried pork rice bland and tastes like regular white rice. I ordered roast pork with Chinese vegetables combination platter. It's was loaded with zucchini and onion. Pork was all fat and I even found a bone. It's a whole in the wall place. Quality of the food is NOT authentic Chinese food at all! I wasn't given any Chinese noodles with my platter,so I asked for some and was told that I had to pay for them. I also asked for extra hot sauce and was given (3) small packets. The portions are small for the price. Very dingy atmosphere. I'll not be ordering from them again. I even called to express my complaint of zucchini being used in place of Chinese vegetables and she argued with me. If I want zucchini,I'll grab it from my garden. Whatever was available was used to make my meal which wasn't eaten. Zucchini is NOT a Chinese vegetable. The lady was rude on the phone. I don't know what changed in the restaurant as it used to be good. Not great, but acceptable.
Crab Rangoon’s have absolutely no filling. It’s a shame because the flavor is good. Singapore mei fun one of the best in the area
