Asian Diner
Wow! What a surprise. We were staying at the Quality Inn, and when we checked in, the hotel clerk told us that there was an "Asian restaurant" right off the lobby. It's a Q.I. so we weren't expecting much from the restaurant either. On the second day, we had a long, strenuous day, so we were tired and just wanted to get a quick bite and get to the room. We went to the Asian Diner with low expectations. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. They have a sushi chef, a decent beer selection, and a good selection of Asian food. The food and service were really good. The Ledgewood roll was beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere could use a little attention, but it's not too bad. I definitely would recommend this place. Try it, you'll like it.
The Asian Diner had a large variety of selections which were excellent. The Pu Pu Platter was flavorful, the salmon sashimi was fresh, and the Asian Diner Roll and Crab Tacos were both plated beautifully and tasty.
Mizuki Asian Fusion and Hibachi
Been here many times. Always good. Lunch special is a good deal. Tried the Rt 46 roll, it was ok but not for me. Seaweed salad special was good. Sushi pizza was huge. Came with Mango and thick rice pad.
Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, excellent sushi and par for the course pricing. Looking forward to trying their hibachi. Definitely a staple sushi đŁ place in the area exceeding the others.
Loving Hut
If youâre hungry, call it in or clear your schedule. Everything was slightly sweet. Golden soup was delicious. Slightly sweet, very creamy, no spice, perfect temperature but almost salty. Chili cheese fries are sweeter than you Ms expect but good, crispy and perfectly balanced with toppings (beans, peppers, sweet potatoes, carrots) the cheese was unassuming. Udon noodles smell amazing, but theyâre not the thick chewy noodles I was expecting. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly but very underwhelming. Yaki soba is a miss. Sea joy taste like a fish ball? Broth was thick like bone broth and really balanced. Even the âprawnsâ were okay. Teriyaki tofu tastes familiar in a good way! Vegetables were fresh and crispy and warm. The tofu is not as firm as Iâd like, bit too soft. But good. Would get it again.
We had a mother and daughter date today, and we chose Loving Hut for lunch. My daughter's favorite. As usual, the food was amazing. Best Bubble tea, best cheesecake! My quinoa salad was delicious.
The Clay Oven Indian Restaurant
Iâve been coming to The Oven Clay since 2018, and itâs hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. The food is always amazingâfresh, authentic, and super tasty. Every single time Iâve been, itâs been delicious. The owner is so nice, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Itâs just a great vibe all around. If youâre wondering what to try, definitely get the kheema samosaâitâs my favorite! The Chicken Makhani and Lamb Korma are also fantastic, their Garlic Naam is also so so good. Honestly, anything you order here is going to be good.
I recently ordered take and unfortunately, it wasn't the best experience. The food was just okay, but the portion sizes were surprisingly small, especially considering how expensive everything was. I also wish I had known beforehand that it's a cash-only restaurant, which was a bit of an inconvenience. I was particularly disappointed with the Peshwari naan. It was dry, and the raisins and coconut tasted off, which was quite a letdown since I was really looking forward to it. Overall, I left feeling that the meal wasn't worth the price. With so many great Indian restaurants out there, I'm not sure I'll be returning to The Clay Oven anytime soon. âżď¸Wheelchair accessibility is available here
Panda Express
Staff was friendly. Food was ok. Got a 2 entree combo. They put the other items onto a plate while they made the new batch of bourbon chicken as they were out when I first got there. It took about 7-8 minutes. The bourbon chicken was hot and fresh but the other items on my plate were cold. It wasnât that busy when I was there.
Is this a joke? Hereâs the small next to a bill and a regular sized Chinese takeout box. I paid nearly 9 dollars for this. I understand this isnât a location issue but panda express seriously fix this.
Ichiban Japanese Cuisine & Catering
âExcellent Sushi and Service!â Ichiban Japanese Cuisine never disappoints! Their sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the miso soup is warm and comforting. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!
From the moment we stepped into Ichiban Japanese Cuisine & Catering, we were greeted with a warm ambiance and spotlessly clean surroundings. The sushi bar added an authentic touch to the atmosphere, and the staff were not only polite but genuinely lovely, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Our appetizers arrived promptly, setting the tone for a meal that exceeded our expectations. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise and dedication to quality ingredients. What's more, the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the outstanding quality of food we received. Ichiban has undoubtedly earned its place as a go-to spot for sushi lovers in Ledgewood, NJ. With such a delightful experience, it's no wonder we'll be returning soon to indulge in more of their delicious offerings.
