If you’re looking for fresh, high-quality sushi and amazing Asian takeout in Robbinsville, Yummy Sushi is the place to go. I’ve eaten here a few times, and while the dine-in experience is just okay, the food itself makes it absolutely worth it—especially for takeout. The General Tso’s chicken and shrimp? Phenomenal. The chicken is crispy, the shrimp is perfectly cooked, and the sauce has that perfect balance of sweet and spicy. It’s one of the best I’ve had in the area. Now, if you’re a sushi lover, the salmon avocado roll and spicy tuna roll are on another level. The fish is super fresh, the rice is just the right texture, and you can really taste the quality. No bland or mushy sushi here—just clean, delicious flavors. Service-wise, it’s fine, but nothing special. If you’re eating in, don’t expect overly attentive service. It’s not bad, but it’s clear that takeout is their strong suit. Honestly, I’d recommend grabbing your order to go and enjoying it at home. All in all, Yummy Sushi is a hidden gem for takeout. If you want great sushi and solid Asian dishes without the fuss of dining in, this is the spot.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a lovely and unique square ceiling chandelier, nice paintings, and a classy red interior with gauze cream curtains. There are some traditional Asian decorations by the kitchen area. While the decor lends itself well to more formal meals, such as business dinners or dates or dinner with your partner's parents (as the table next to us was doing), you would not feel out of place at all coming here for a casual hangout with friends. I feel it's rather rare and requires a delicate balance to be able to encompass such a large range of possible atmospheres. The fact that Yummy Sushi is not too visible from the outside does give a bit of a hole-in-the-wall feel, like you've found this nice secret spot. It does get very busy around Lunar New Year, though. When we went, it was fairly empty despite it being dinner hour on a Sunday, which surprised me because the food is delicious and the service is wonderful. From what I hear, though, the place is popular in the afternoons after school for bubble tea, and I can see why. The milk mango bubble tea I had was delicious, and came in a nice glass jug. Personally, I always like when drinks come in glass instead of plastic. For the food: We had a salmon mango tartare for the appetizer. The food came in a heart shape, which was so cute! You can tell all the ingredients are incredibly fresh. For the main, I had the Rt33 special roll with the modification of no jalapeño. The roll is made of fried soft shell crab, soybean paper, and seaweed salad. I was impressed that when I asked what the wrapping was (which was the soybean paper), our waitress was able to answer our question on sight. Some restaurants I've been to, the servers really just bring the food from the kitchen and aren't able to answer questions about the food, but it was clear here that the waitress was very knowledgeable. My dining companion had a Hawaiian special roll, which contains king crab and avocado with mango salad on top. Uniquely, the roll is fried on the outside, which is very interesting and gave a nice crunch. Personally, I preferred my Rt33 roll, but my dining companion really enjoyed their roll, so there's something for everyone. There's a huge selection of special rolls as well as more typical rolls, as well as other sushi/sashimi options and traditional Chinese dishes, so lots of great options. I'm really looking forward to trying the other appetizers and special rolls on future visits. For dessert, we had a tempura ice cream, which is always a treat. The portion is quite large and done perfectly - the vanilla bean ice cream (it's the high-end kind of vanilla ice cream, not your typical vanillin-flavored ice cream) is still cold but the tempura fried outside is just warm, with a bit of chocolate sauce drizzled on top. I like that we were never left waiting for anything. Our water was filled regularly and while the table we were at was perhaps a tad small for us with all our dishes, it wasn't too bad. I do feel the food is good value for money. For us two, the bill came out to $55, and goodness knows I've had far too many meals in a similar price range which weren't even close to as good. Overall, our experience here was absolutely wonderful, and I'm really looking forward to coming back again!

What a wonderful new restaurant! My husband and I had a very nice date night! Didn't actually expect it to be so nice but glad it was! He had the surf and turf and I had the curry chicken. We also had the spinach salad and the New England clam chowder. All were excellent! Tim. Our waiter was also fantastic and really new. All of the menus including the wine list very well! Oh, and our seasonal drinks were outstanding. I had the Maverick and my husband had something with lavender. We'll definitely come again to try more of their meals.

After a day of real estate appointments, I met a friend here for happy hour. This is a great addition to Robbinsville. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The menu has something for everyone. We wanted to sit in the bar area, but had to sit in the dining room due to a private event in the bar area. We sampled a few appetizers and we're very happy. The service was excellent. All of the staff were very attentive.

Ginger Thai, conveniently located in a bustling shopping area with ample parking and surrounded by diverse dining options, offers a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive, accommodating reservations, and genuinely friendly, creating a pleasant dining experience. For those seeking vegetarian and vegan choices, Ginger Thai provides a commendable selection. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including flavorful Thai iced coffee, crispy spring rolls, and savory fried chive vegetable dumplings with a spicy garlic sauce. The Tom Yum soup, while enjoyable, lacked the distinct bamboo flavor often associated with this classic dish.Main courses consisted of flavorful Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad Thai with tofu, and Red Curry with tofu and vegetables. While all dishes were well-presented and served in generous portions, a subtle "something" seemed to be missing in the overall taste of each, leaving us wanting more authentic Thai flavors. The Mango Sticky Rice dessert proved to be a delightful conclusion to the meal. Overall: * Ambience: 4 stars (Pleasant and comfortable) * Vegetarian Options: 4 stars (Good selection available) * Service: 4 stars (Friendly and attentive) * Taste: 3 stars (While enjoyable, lacked the full depth of authentic Thai flavors) * Portion Size: 5 stars (Generous portions) It is a decent option for a casual meal, especially if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and a good selection of vegetarian dishes. However, those seeking an authentic Thai culinary experience might find the flavors slightly underwhelming.

Very Beautiful Restaurant with exceptional service. The food is authentic Thai food. Best Thai food in New Jersey, and I have tried several. It’s become our weekend date night place to eat.

My family and I order from here like once a week. Today I am Disappointed. I called at 5pm and placed an order for three chicken and broccoli dinners and an order of plain lomain. It’s now 6:45. I was told 55 min. It’s now been an hour and 45 min. I’m starting to feel like they just took my money and forgot out order. I’m pist my kids are hungry.

The food tasted different than I expected. I’ve tried other Chinese restaurants that their food tasted amazing. For service, they never really say anything to me.
